Thousands Of Zionists Choose To Live In Morocco

El Chorouk14-07-2025
The Makhzen opens its doors to welcome tens of thousands of Zionists who have chosen it as their preferred destination to live and settle, in light of the growing phenomenon of 'reverse migration' witnessed by the Zionist entity, as one of the most prominent consequences of the war of extermination it continues to wage in the Gaza Strip.
According to Moroccan media, the phenomenon of migration from the Zionist entity to Morocco 'is gaining momentum, as Zionists of Moroccan origin are returning in waves to live in the kingdom, despite their awareness of the difficulty of integrating into a society that has embraced the Palestinian cause and its justice. and consider any form of normalization with the Zionist entity to be a betrayal of it.'
In this context, Moroccan political and media analyst Badr Al-Aydoudi explained in a statement to 'Waj' that 'waves of immigration from the Zionist entity to Morocco have increased significantly in recent years, since 2018, and notably during the recent Zionist aggression against Iran, with more than 57,000 Zionists moving from the entity to Morocco.'
Al-Aydoudi, who lives in Spain, explained that Zionist immigrants work in the artistic, cultural, and academic fields and invest in real estate, technology, and tourism, noting that the Makhzen regime grants citizenship to these immigrants 'very quickly.'
He emphasized that the Makhzen 'does not hide its desire to integrate Jews coming from the Zionist entity into Moroccan society, as part of a policy of granting them facilities such as access to land and exceptional economic privileges, in addition to creating institutions for them that are not available even to the Moroccan people, either internally or externally.'
The same speaker emphasized that 'all these indicators suggest the existence of a Zionist-Makhzen agreement to enable the Zionists to exploit the country's wealth and gain access to vital political, economic, and social positions, paving the way for them to infiltrate the state apparatus and control future decision-making.'
Media reports have indicated that the wave of immigration from the Zionist entity to Morocco occurred even before the normalization agreements between the two sides came into effect, with a wave of Zionists arriving, including individuals involved in criminal cases and fugitives from justice, took advantage of a legal loophole that allowed them to avoid imprisonment due to their 'Moroccan origins.'
The same reports predicted that the new Zionist immigrants to the kingdom would face increasing popular pressure from all sides, given the Moroccan street's rejection of the Zionist-Makhzen rapprochement, amid continued calls to boycott the occupying entity.

Morocco Obstructs the Realistic Solution to the Western Sahara Conflict

Morocco refuses to honour its commitments to implement a realistic and genuine solution to the conflict in Western Sahara, the Minister of Foreign and African Affairs of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Mohamed Yeslam Beissat, confirmed on Tuesday in Algiers. During a press conference at his country's embassy in Algeria, Beissat said that the Sahrawi Republic 'will celebrate its 50th anniversary at the beginning of next year, embodying the aspirations of the Sahrawi people for freedom, independence, and self-determination.' He emphasised that this constitutes 'tangible evidence of our people's steadfastness, patience, and determination to defend their legitimate right to freedom from occupation. It is further evidence that the only practical and acceptable solution is to respect the will of the Sahrawi people and the sovereignty of the Sahrawi Republic.' Beissat addressed the suffering of the Sahrawi people over the past 50 years due to Morocco's ongoing aggression, emphasising that the Makhzen 'lacks the sincere political will to implement a realistic and genuine solution to the conflict in Western Sahara, given its refusal to abide by the commitments it signed.' He explained that 'the Moroccan government's behaviour blatantly contradicts its statements. On the one hand, it claims to be seeking a solution, while on the other, it is escalating the war, intensifying repression, increasing the plunder of resources, and persisting in demonizing the Sahrawi people and their sole legitimate representative, the Polisario Front.' He emphasized that the Makhzen 'has no project' and that 'all it has now is a premeditated maneuver to waste time and delay the self-determination referendum, and with it, delay the date for peace, integration, development, and integration in the Maghreb and Africa.' He stressed that if Morocco 'truly wants a solution, the shortest path to that goal is to respect its signed and documented commitments and obligations, as contained in the resolutions of the UN Security Council, the International Court of Justice, the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, and the Court of Justice of the European Union, all of which affirmed the legal nature of the conflict and the need to respect the will of the Sahrawi people.' He also called for the release of Sahrawi political prisoners in the occupation's prisons and an end to the policy of bribery and media disinformation exposed by several leaks and scandals, such as 'Moroccogate' in the European Parliament. The Sahrawi Minister affirmed that his country interacts positively with the efforts of the United Nations and with all good efforts that respect the legal nature of the conflict and are based on the principles and foundations of international law. However, it continues its legitimate struggle by all means to defend its national sovereignty and the internationally recognised rights of the Sahrawi people. Finally, Beissat praised Algeria's firm and supportive position on the Sahrawi cause and the Sahrawi people's right to self-determination, as President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has recalled on several occasions. He expressed the Sahrawi Republic's deep gratitude for this support.

Treasury Sanctions Houthi-Linked Petroleum Smuggling and Sanctions Evasion Network

WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is designating two individuals and five entities that profit through money laundering and importing petroleum products into territory controlled by Ansarallah, commonly known as the Houthis. The Iran-backed Houthis gain hundreds of millions of dollars annually by working with Yemeni businessmen to tax petroleum imports, generating critical revenue that funds the Houthis' destabilizing activities in the region. Today's action targets a network of individuals and their companies located across Yemen and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) who are among the most significant importers of petroleum products and money launderers that benefit the Houthis. 'The Houthis collaborate with opportunistic businessmen to reap enormous profits from the importation of petroleum products and to enable the group's access to the international financial system,' said Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Michael Faulkender. 'These networks of shady businesses underpin the Houthis' terrorist machine, and Treasury will use all tools at its disposal to disrupt these schemes.' Today's action is being taken pursuant to the counterterrorism authority Executive Order (E.O.) 13224, as amended, and builds on a series of OFAC actions targeting Houthi revenue generation and weapons procurement over the past year, including on June 17, 2024, July 31, 2024, October 2, 2024, December 19, 2024, March 5, 2025, April 2, 2025, April 28, 2025, and June 20, 2025. The U.S. Department of State designated Ansarallah, commonly known as the Houthis, as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) on February 16, 2024, and subsequently re-designated the group as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) on March 5, 2025. HOUTHI PETROLEUM AND FUEL COMPANIES The Houthis work with privately owned companies to ensure continued shipments of petroleum products into areas they control in Yemen. Once in Yemen, the Houthis profit even further by controlling the selling price of these petroleum products to the Yemeni people, typically at a significant markup. Muhammad Al-Sunaydar (Al-Sunaydar), who manages a network of petroleum companies between Yemen and the United Arab Emirates, is one of the most prominent petroleum importers in Yemen. Al-Sunaydar manages Arkan Mars Petroleum Company for Oil Products Imports (Arkan Mars), which has an agreement with the Houthis to import gas and oil, including Iranian petroleum products, for the terrorist group through the Houthi-controlled Hudaydah and Ras Isa ports in Yemen. As of June 2025, Iranian-affiliated companies were involved in facilitating payments between the Iranian government and Houthi-affiliated oil companies, including Arkan Mars. As a part of Al-Sunaydar's network, Arkan Mars Petroleum DMCC and Arkan Mars Petroleum FZE are UAE-based companies associated with Arkan Mars that have been involved in exporting oil to Yemen. All three of the Arkan Mars companies coordinated the delivery of approximately $12 million dollars' worth of Iranian petroleum products with the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industry Commercial Company (PGPICC) to the Houthis via Ras Isa port in Yemen. PGPICC was designated by OFAC pursuant to E.O. 13382 for being owned or controlled by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industry Co. (PGPIC). PGPIC was itself designated pursuant to E.O. 13382 that same day for having provided financial support to Khatam al-Anbiya, the engineering conglomerate of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Yahya Mohammed Al Wazir launders and raises money for the Houthis. Between November and December 2024, Al-Saida Stone for Trading and Agencies (Al-Saida) spent approximately six million euros across five payments to purchase bulk coal, presumably to import into Yemen. Al-Saida's public advertisement of itself as a stationery wholesaler in Sana'a, Yemen is at odds with repeated large volume payments for coal and is typical of the behaviors of a front company. Amran Cement Factory is a Houthi-controlled entity that has been providing the terrorist group with money laundering and earning capabilities. In addition, as of March 2025, the Houthis have directed production of cement from Amran Cement Factory to the mountainous Saada region in northern Yemen as part of a larger Houthi effort to develop and fortify military, weapons storage, and ammunitions caches. Muhammad Al-Sunaydar, Arkan Mars Petroleum Company for Oil Products Imports, Arkan Mars Petroleum DMCC, Arkan Mars Petroleum FZE, Yahya Mohammed Al Wazir, Al-Saida Stone for Trading and Agencies, and Amran Cement Factory are being designated pursuant to E.O. 13224, as amended, for having materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support for, or goods or services to or in support of, the Houthis. SANCTIONS IMPLICATIONS As a result of today's action, all property and interests in property of the designated or blocked persons described above that are in the United States or in the possession or control of U.S. persons are blocked and must be reported to OFAC. In addition, any entities that are owned, directly or indirectly, individually or in the aggregate, 50 percent or more by one or more blocked persons are also blocked. Unless authorized by a general or specific license issued by OFAC, or exempt, OFAC's regulations generally prohibit all transactions by U.S. persons or within (or transiting) the United States that involve any property or interests in property of blocked persons. Violations of U.S. sanctions may result in the imposition of civil or criminal penalties on U.S. and foreign persons. OFAC may impose civil penalties for sanctions violations on a strict liability basis. OFAC's Economic Sanctions Enforcement Guidelines provide more information regarding OFAC's enforcement of U.S. economic sanctions. In addition, financial institutions and other persons may risk exposure to sanctions for engaging in certain transactions or activities involving designated or otherwise blocked persons. The prohibitions include the making of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services by, to, or for the benefit of any designated or blocked person, or the receipt of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services from any such person. Furthermore, engaging in certain transactions involving the persons designated today may risk the imposition of secondary sanctions on participating foreign financial institutions. OFAC can prohibit or impose strict conditions on opening or maintaining, in the United States, a correspondent account or a payable-through account of a foreign financial institution that knowingly conducts or facilitates any significant transaction on behalf of a person who is designated pursuant to the relevant authority. The power and integrity of OFAC sanctions derive not only from OFAC's ability to designate and add persons to the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List), but also from its willingness to remove persons from the SDN List consistent with the law. The ultimate goal of sanctions is not to punish, but to bring about a positive change in behavior. For information concerning the process for seeking removal from an OFAC list, including the SDN List, or to submit a request, please refer to OFAC's guidance on Filing a Petition for Removal from an OFAC List.

National Resistance Thwarts Largest Smuggling Operation of Iranian Weapons to Houthi Militia

The National Resistance announced on Thursday that it had thwarted one of the largest smuggling operations of Iranian weapons to the Houthi militia. The high-profile operation was carried out by its naval forces and intelligence units in mid-June in the Red Sea. In a statement, the military media of the National Resistance reported that the operation took place on **June 27**, resulting in the seizure of a smuggling vessel named **"Al-Sharwa."** The ship was carrying a massive shipment of advanced weapons, estimated at **750 tons**, sent by Iran's Revolutionary Guards to their proxy, the Houthi militia in Yemen. The statement added that the confiscated weapons included: - **Air defense and missile systems** (naval and aerial) - **Attack and reconnaissance drones** - **Advanced radar systems** - **Launching systems** - **Eavesdropping devices** - **Konkurs anti-tank missiles** - **B10 cannons** - **Advanced sniper rifles** - **Tracking lenses** - **Large quantities of ammunition** (including Kalashnikov and "Shiki" rounds) and other military equipment. The Resistance emphasized that this smuggling operation exposes **Iran's ongoing scheme to arm the terrorist Houthi militia**, debunking the group's claims of having "domestic military manufacturing capabilities." It also reveals the extent of the threat posed by the Iranian regime to **international navigation in the Red Sea** through its armed proxies. The statement noted that the weapons were **tightly concealed**: strategic systems were disassembled and hidden inside **electric generators and industrial machinery**, while ammunition was stashed within **large battery compartments** to mislead maritime surveillance units. The military media detailed that the operation began with **precise intelligence tracking** of a suspicious vessel departing from the **coast of the Horn of Africa**, operated by smugglers linked to the Houthi militia. Naval forces of the Resistance then intercepted the ship **west of the international maritime route in the Red Sea**, towing it to a secure area where the cargo was unloaded and documented. The National Resistance stated that it would soon release **confessions from the ship's crew** and broadcast footage showing samples of the seized weapons and equipment.
