Transfer-linked Barcelona star responds to exit questions
The subject of Araújo's potential departure has of course been a prominent one in the chatter at Barcelona across the summer to date.

This comes with a difficult season for the 26-year-old in 2024/25 having given rise to widespread calls for the Camp Nou brass to sanction a sale.
To date, no such move has been forthcoming, with Araújo remaining a member of Hansi Flick's squad.
And if the latest comments on the part of the stopper himself are anything to go by, this situation is unlikely to change any time soon.
After reporting for pre-season training ahead of schedule on Wednesday, Araújo was stopped by a group of fans and journalists upon his exit from The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
One such media member made use of the opportunity to ask whether the South American plans to stay put at the Camp Nou this summer.

And Araújo confidently went on to respond with:
'For me, yes.'

Putellas in a class of her own after stunning Women's EUROs group stage 👏
Putellas in a class of her own after stunning Women's EUROs group stage 👏 Spain's imperious group stage performances at the Women's European Championships saw them score a record-equalling 14 goals, but one player has so far stood out above all. In a team filled with world class players and so many of her Barcelona teammates, Alexia Putellas has looked a class apart in Switzerland. Advertisement Esther González may be the tournament's top scorer with four goals, but Putellas is just behind, and has four assists to go with her three goals. One of her two brilliant assists in the 3-1 win over Italy on Friday night was to González, which, alongside other incredible numbers, only adds to the idea that she is the chief conductor for the world champions this summer. A two-time Ballon d'Or winner, the 31-year-old is reminding everyone that she is still at that level, and could yet add a EUROs title to an ever-expanding trophy cabinet. 📸 Daniela Porcelli - 2025 Getty Images

Barcelona transfer to include deal for brother
A new, altogether significant detail in La Liga giants Barcelona's deal for Roony Bardghji has on Friday been revealed. This comes amid confirmation that the Blaugrana are also set to sign the Copenhagen talent's younger brother. Advertisement Winger Bardghji for his part touched down in Catalunya's capital earlier today. As much comes ahead of the 19-year-old putting pen to paper on terms with Barcelona, in a cut-price move from the aforementioned Copenhagen. As alluded to above, though, Roony is not the only member of the Bardghji family primed to link up with Barca this summer. So too, it is understood, is the attacker's younger brother. As confirmed by journalist Raul Zambrano to DiariARA, Rayan Bardghji has also agreed to a move to Spain. A 15-year-old winger long held in high regard, Rayan is expected to link up with La Masia, with a view to a potential future first-team berth. Conor Laird – GSFN

Marcus Rashford: Fenerbahce's stance on hijacking Barcelona switch
One anticipated Manchester United reunion at Fenerbahce will not materialise, according to fresh reports from Spain. Recently, a report from Turkey stated that Jose Mourinho had contacted Marcus Rashford about a potential move to join him in Istanbul. Advertisement It was believed the United academy graduate, swayed by 'The Special One,' had agreed to join the Turkish Super Lig outfit. Had the deal gone through, it would have marked a major hijack by the Yellow Canaries. But that prospect has now been ruled out. Barcelona prioritise Rashford signing Major updates concerning Rashford emerged on Friday, painting a clearer picture of the Englishman's potential transfer. As relayed by The Peoples Person, European transfer guru Florian Plettenberg claims Barcelona have now identified the United forward as a priority target. The Spanish league champions were said to favour a move for Luis Diaz over Rashford (after missing out on Nico Williams), but that is no longer the case. Advertisement Rashford has now risen to the top of Barca's winger shortlist, with Hansi Flick reportedly on board with an Old Trafford raid. While Fenerbahce might have been expected to respond to the Spanish developments, it turns out they have not (and will not). One less rival in Rashford's chase Marca now reports that Mourinho has ruled out a move for the Englishman. The Spanish outlet cites Rashford's salary demands and his preference for a switch to Camp Nou as key reasons behind Fenerbahce's withdrawal. 'The situation to sign Rashford is practically impossible for Fenerbahce due to the high salary he has — earning £18 million per season — and because the striker wants to go to Barcelona,' the outlet says. Advertisement 'At the moment, the option of him going to Turkish football has been ruled out.' With Fenerbahce out of the equation, Barcelona has a free run at Rashford; it is unfortunate for INEOS that there will not be a bidding war. Either way, all eyes now turn to the Catalan giants to show intent, with INEOS hoping a £40 million bid arrives sooner rather than later. Follow us on Bluesky: @
