ITV Coronation Street fans 'work out' who has Logan 'killed' after brutal exit
On Friday's episode of Coronation Street, fears for Logan's life mounted after he appeared to be attacked following a revealing conversation with Carla Connor during a prison visit.
The villain seemed to have divulged too much information to Carla, and shortly after a fellow inmate cautioned him about being overly talkative. A visibly shaken Logan protested his innocence as the cell door shut, hinting at an imminent assault.
It comes as actor Harry Lowbridge announced his departure from the ITV soap, having wrapped filming his final scenes. This led viewers to speculate that Logan had met a grim fate in the cell, possibly orchestrated by someone wanting to silence him after his mention of a mysterious figure named Tia Wardley.
Carla had been seeking clarity on the circumstances surrounding her partner Lisa Swain 's late wife Becky Swain's death. Lisa found herself unable to move on, plagued by uncertainties regarding Becky's troubles prior to her death and the reasons behind her fatal hit and run.
During her visit to extract details from Logan about Becky, he demanded £10,000 in exchange for potential information. In the process he inadvertently mentioned Tia Wardley, though no further explanation was provided about their identity or connection to Becky, as reported by the Mirror.
The mention of Wardley was enough to put Logan in hot water with a cellmate who shared a "mutual friend" they had both apparently angered, suggesting Logan needed to be permanently silenced.
Following the cliffhanger, Harry confirmed his Corrie exit to his Instagram followers.
This led fans to believe that Logan had met his demise and to speculation about who the mutual acquaintance is, and how they connect to the Becky storyline.
Some predict a plot twist, suggesting that the individual behind Logan's demise could be none other than previous show antagonist Harvey Gaskell.
Some suspect it's DI Costello or even Lisa's therapist Floyd, as they are eager for Lisa to cease her investigation into Becky's fate. Lisa herself was also suggested as a potential suspect, while both Becky and Tia were hinted by viewers to be the "mutual friend".
One fan took to social media to declare: "Lisa definitely had Logan killed in prison." Another viewer speculated: "So that mutual friend? Costello? Kit? Tia? Or Becky herself?" A third chimed in: "Best guess at the moment is Costello or Floyd."
Someone further added: "Was the killer sent by Costello?" while another queried: "Harvey?" Another comment read: "It's either Costello or Kit got Logan attacked inside."

BBC Radio legend exposes huge music icon as the most 'unpleasant' celeb she's ever interviewed
Radio legend Jo Whiley said the star left her feeling "so tiny and so stupid" during their interview. BBC Radio One legend Jo Whiley has revealed the name of the rudest famous person she's ever interviewed in a jaw dropping confession. The 60-year-old veteran broadcaster interviewed countless stars during her time as a radio DJ. However, speaking to fellow presenter, Zoe Ball, on their Dig it podcast recently, Jo admitted there was one celebrity who shattered her confidence during an interview which left her feeling "stupid". When asked by Zoe if she had ever felt starstruck during an interview, Jo recalled an interview with one of the world's biggest rappers but it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Jo told Zoe she was left feeling "so tiny" after interviewing hip hop legend Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, the Mirror reports. She explained: "I remember interviewing Eminem and Dr Dre one time and that was horrible. "I'd interviewed Eminem when he was very young and he was very shy and polite. He kept calling me "ma'am" all the time and he was really, really sweet and humble. "Then a couple of years later he came back on the show but with Dr Dre and the fame had happened and he was just this other creature altogether. "They were just so playful with me - and can I just say they made me feel so tiny and so stupid." It comes as the radio DJ insisted she is not slowing down any time soon after turning 60 last month and saying that she doesn't think milestone birthdays are a "big deal". The mum-of-five said that the interview with Eminem was overall "a really unpleasant experience" as she and Zoe chatted about being starstruck by the rich and famous. Her admission comes after the broadcaster opened up about how she had been struck down by anxiety at the height of her DJing career in the 90s. She told Woman's Health: "I remember doing one gig and I was just so scared, I thought I can't go on like this. This is ridiculous. "It's ruining my life because I'm just such a ball of anxiety. "But then I realised how happy it was making people when I do these gigs and that was a game changer." Jo, is still one of the most sought after DJs in the industry and insisted her 60th birthday, which she celebrated last month, is just the same as any other. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! She told Woman and Home: 'Another birthday really isn't a big deal for me because I don't see age as important. "It's something that you very much don't want to be a thing, but it becomes a thing because everybody focuses on it and asks you about it constantly. "It's a bizarre situation to be in because I'm only another year older than I was last year, and a year younger than I will be next year. There's an obsession with reaching certain milestones due to your age. People focus on it too much."

ITV are said to have been keen on signing him for some time - and bosses think they have found the ideal vehicle. A huge hit in Norway, The Box sees a dozen celebrities placed in separate boxes, each with a daring challenge to complete. It has been described as a cross between I'm A Celebrity and SAS: Who Dares Wins. A source told The Sun: 'The Box is massive in Norway, and the rights were quickly sold to Denmark and now the UK. They have long been sniffing around Gary and just needed to find the right format for him. Source "ITV are really excited about it - and believe they have finally found a worthy successor to Saturday Night Takeaway. 'They have long been sniffing around Gary and just needed to find the right format for him. 'They're confident they've found that now, and the BBC's loss is their gain.' A TV insider said: 'The scheduling hasn't yet been confirmed but filming takes place in the autumn, and the series is due to air early spring. 'It looks likely to get a Saturday night slot though, but obviously it's all still to play for.' Gary Lineker tears up as he bids emotional farewell to iconic Match of the Day after controversial BBC axe Ant and Dec's long-running show ended in April last year - and ITV have struggled to replace it. Lineker had been a fixture on BBC Saturday night screens for 26 years as host of Match of the Day. For the past eight years, he has been the BBC's highest paid broadcaster. Last month he still topped its annual pay league, earning £1.35million. He was due to quit the BBC after next summer's World Cup but was forced out in May after sharing a controversial post about Zionism on Instagram. 5 The new show is touted as the successor to Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway Credit: Rex 5 Lineker was a fixture on BBC Saturday night screens for 26 years Credit: BBC The dad of four — who had previously faced a string of controversies at the BBC — apologised but accepted his position was 'untenable'. The former Leicester, Everton and Barcelona striker won 80 caps for England. He then moved full-time into broadcasting after his retirement in 1994. His new show The Box has been watched by more than a million people in Norway — a fifth of the population.

Fake or Fortune guest lost for words as painting given five-figure sum
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info A Fake or Fortune guest was lost for words as his painting was given a five-figure sum. Robjn Cantus, who lives near Cambridge, bought more than 30 paintings during a "trolley dash" at an auction house back in 2020. He was particularly excited to pick up a painting by Vera Cunningham, which was one of two items in the same lot attributed to the artist. Robjn paid £35 for the pair, but only wanted one of them. On the latest episode of Fake or Fortune, which aired on Monday (August 4), Robjn was stunned to discover that the "by-product" painting was actually a forgotten original by Frances Hodgkins, which was worth around £50,000, reports the Mirror. (Image: BBC) Hodgkins is regarded as one of New Zealand's most revered expatriate artists. Mary Kisler, an art historian from New Zealand and Hodgkins expert, studied the painting on the BBC show. "You can read Robjn's painting as fitting in to a really large number of Hodgkins' works. When you lay those works side-by-side, you can see absolutely that Robjn's work fits among them," she said. "I do wonder if this is October Landscape," Mary added, referring to a painting by Hodgkins that had not been found. "I think it's a damn good one - I'd love to have it myself." Host Fiona Bruce added: "It's phenomenal... For Robjn, it's the find of a lifetime." (Image: BBC) Speaking to Metro about the staggering valuation, Robjn shared his surprise, saying: "I did wonder if it was the painting of a schoolchild when I first saw it. "I didn't really think much of it, just shoved it into an air-conditioned barn, and it went into my storage area to be forgotten." Robjn also remained adamant that his rare item isn't for sale, adding: "Since filming, I've forgotten about it, really. "For many viewers, the show is all about wealth - but I bought the painting in 2020, and I've got to the end of this journey. "To have it authenticated after trying for all those years is worth more than the value." Fake or Fortune is available to stream on BBC iPlayer
