Dressers Sold by Wayfair and Amazon Are Being Recalled—See If Yours is Among Them
Case in point: If you own a Sivan Six-Drawer Double Dresser, there's a recall you should know about. These dressers can tip over if they're not anchored to the wall, posing a serious risk to kids. They don't meet the safety standards set by the STURDY Act, both in stability and labeling.According to the recall, this particular six-drawer double dresser measures approximately 31 inches tall, 47 inches wide and 16 inches deep with a model number of Y-C51. If you have one, stop using it unless it's anchored and contact the company for a refund. The recall was issued on May 22, 2025, and affects about 170 units.
Anji Guyou Furniture, the brand behind the Sivan dressers, as well as Wayfair (where it was sold), are reaching out to all known purchasers directly. Customers must email a photo showing disposal of the product to guyouproductrecall@163.com in order to get their refund.
In addition to this model, there's yet another dresser recall happening.
The Rolanstar 6-Drawer Dresser, sold on Amazon, is being recalled due to similar safety concerns as the above-mentioned Sivan. The dresser can tip over if it's not anchored to the wall, creating a serious risk of injury or even death to children.
About 1,293 units are affected; if you own one, stop using it unless it's secured and reach out for a refund. You can call Areson toll-free at 888-864-7995 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT Monday through Friday or email them at Support@Areson.shop. There's also the option to go to rolanstar.com/pages/recall or Rolanstar.com and click "Recall" at the top of the page for more information.For more specifics on the Rolanstar dresser, they measure about 15 x 16 x 33-inches and were sold in the color black. Look for model number DC006-BK130-1-RR on the product packaging.

Amazon emissions ticked up in 2024 amid data center push
Amazon's emissions increased 6 percent last year, as the e-commerce and cloud computing giant continued to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) efforts and build out its data center footprint. The company's total emissions ticked up from 64.38 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2023 to 68.25 metric tons in 2024, according to its annual sustainability report. Nearly three-fourths of the company's carbon footprint came from indirect emissions from other sources, primarily data center construction and fuel consumed by third-party delivery service providers, it noted. Last month, Amazon announced it was investing $10 billion in North Carolina and $20 billion in Pennsylvania to build out its data center infrastructure in the two states. It has increasingly turned to nuclear energy as a way to power its AI push without raising emissions. Last year, the company announced a series of deals to build several small modular nuclear reactors and purchased a data center co-located with a traditional nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania.
