Bindi Irwin's Father's Day Tribute to Chandler Powell Shows How Grace Is His Mini-Me
In the video, we see Robert teaching his niece some dance moves, like moving her arms to make a hat and pretending to be a cat! He then ends it by getting an enthusiastic high five from the lil dancing Queen.
Not only does this show another glimpse into their truly adorable bond, but it also shows who his dance partner is ahead of his DWTS gig!
For Season 34, which will air in the fall, Robert became the first celebrity to be confirmed.
'I'm just going to get real for a second, I'm so nervous. I'm really nervous,' he revealed to UsMagazine, noting how he's looking to his sister Bindi for advice. 'You have no idea how grateful I am to have Bindi, who went through this experience. 'Not only did she do Dancing With the Stars, I mean, she won Dancing With the Stars and just was such an incredible shining light. I remember watching [her] on that show just thinking, 'This is the coolest thing ever.''
(Bindi won season 21 in 2015 with pro partner Derek Hough.)
And we seriously can't wait to see Robert on the dance floor as well!
For those who don't know, Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell, welcomed their daughter Grace Warrior, on March 25, 2021, which was exactly one year after their intimate wedding ceremony at the Australia Zoo.
In a previous interview with SheKnows, Bindi talked about how she thinks playtime with her daughter is one of the most important things to do. 'Those moments of connection with play I still draw upon as an adult, and I think that's really, really special. [P]laytime is so important because it gives kids the opportunity to have those building blocks for the foundation for the rest of their lives.'Best of SheKnows

DWTS Fans Gearing Up for Major Season 34 Announcement
DWTS Fans Gearing Up for Major Season 34 Announcement originally appeared on Parade. Dancing With the Stars fans are getting ready for some big news that's expected to drop on July 1. On June 30, the show's co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough shared a video on social media teasing this big announcement. "We've got big news coming tomorrow," Hough, dressed in a black gown, said in the video. "Are you ready?" Ribeiro, who has in a black tux, asked. "More to come. Drop your guesses below," read the video's caption. Dozens of fans have been taking their best guesses as to what news could be coming on the first of the month. Many seem to think that production is ready to announce Season 34's third cast member after already confirming Robert Irwin and Alix Earle will be competing next season. Others wonder if the announcement will be something else about the show, perhaps the return of a pro, the addition of a new judge, or even a change in schedule. "It's the Mormon Wives reunion tomorrow so hopefully it will be one of them being announced to do the show!!" one person wrote. "The Lautners will be on season 34 maybe?!! Manifesting this," someone else suggested. "Adding Mark Ballas as a 4th judge? He needs to be a permanent judge on DWTS, he and Derek bring a lot to the judging panel," a third fan guessed. "Well, I hope the big news is a release date for dancing with the stars and the celebrities that's going to be on there," a fourth comment read. Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars is set to premiere on Tuesday nights starting in September. 🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬 DWTS Fans Gearing Up for Major Season 34 Announcement first appeared on Parade on Jun 30, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jun 30, 2025, where it first appeared.

Cut Copy Announce New Album ‘Moments', Share ‘When This Is Over'
Cut Copy have announced a new album, entitled Moments. It marks their seventh overall and first in five years, following their 2020 album Freeze, Melt. The new album is set for release on Friday, September 5th via Cutters Records and The Orchards. To coincide with the album's announcement, the Melbourne-born and UK-based electronica act have shared its second single, 'When This Is Over'. The follow-up to April's 'Solid', which will also appear on Moments, has been described by frontman Dan Whitford as 'one of those songs that instantly felt special' in a press statement. 'The song is about a relationship that has started to unravel,' he said. 'But also, a bit more globally, [it's a song] about trying to find empathy when parties are facing in seemingly opposite directions. Over the course of the song, the mood progresses from conflict to a sort of truce-like resolution.' Whitford also notes that this is the first Cut Copy song to feature a children's choir – something that he and his bandmates had 'talked for years about', but had never realised prior to the recording of this song. 'After writing the first half of the song in my studio on synths and a drum machine, I drove from Melbourne into the country to a primary school where a friend was a music teacher,' he said. '[I] spent a day recording a choir idea that became the basis of the second half of the song. Suddenly with the addition of the children's voices, the song had gone from a sketch into something magical.' To celebrate the release of Moments, the band will play their first home-country shows in over two-and-a-half years this September. They will play a hometown headlining show in Melbourne, as well as dates for both Sydney's Night At The Barracks concert series as well as its freshly-minted sister series Night At The Parkland in Brisbane.
