WATCH: All-Access with Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry at a celebrity golf event

USA Today3 days ago
Every summer, Stephen Curry takes to the golf course. The Golden State Warriors superstar is a high-level player on the links and often impresses with his golfing ability. This summer, Curry returned to the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament, and as you would expect, he had some memorable moments as he made his way around the course.
Some highlights of Curry's golfing exploits undoubtedly made their way onto social media. The four-time NBA champion finished fifth overall, with a score of 58 points, losing to Joe Pavelski, who had 73. Curry won the championship in 2023, but clearly didn't do enough to add a second chip to his golfing resume.
Nevertheless, the overall event was a fun watch. If you missed it, and would like to see the event from Curry's perspective, he posted an "All Access" video to his personal YouTube channel, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at his participation in the celebrity event.

76ers' Daryl Morey Thinks Los Angeles Lakers' 2020 NBA Title is Not 'Genuine'

Fans argue all the time whether the 2020 NBA title won during the "bubble" season should count or have an asterisk next to it. Is it to discredit the Lakers and LeBron James, or do people actually think it wasn't a legitimate title win? Well, those fans who won't give the Lakers credit could be backed up by an NBA executive. Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations, Daryl Morey, told the Athletic that people around the league privately agree the championship isn't genuine. "Yet, everyone I speak to around the league privately agrees that it doesn't truly hold up as a genuine championship," said Morey. "Perhaps the lasting legacy of the NBA bubble is that the NBA should be proud of its leadership at both the beginning and end of the pandemic, even though the champion will forever be marked by an asterisk." While some fans might agree, Morey might not be the best messenger for this take on championships due to his teams never winning an NBA title or even just reaching the Finals. In 2006, Morey took over as assistant general manager for the Houston Rockets. He was promoted a year later to general manager. The Rockets reached the playoffs multiple times but could never get to the Finals. Morey did win Executive of the Year in the 2017-2018 season, though. Now he serves as the President of Basketball Operations for the 76ers, who haven't reached the conference finals since he got there in 2020. Others interviewed by the Athletic disagreed with Morey and, even said that the time in the bubble was one of the most difficult, and that title run by the Lakers should never have an asterisk beside it. Not only just a hard time for the world, not knowing what's next, but for players and everyone in the NBA as well. Players and coaches couldn't go home to family, were isolated in a hotel room, underwent daily COVID-19 testing and could only leave their rooms to play basketball. No fans in the stands to give teams a home-court advantage: nothing but basketball. The Lakers defeated the Miami Heat, 4-2, in the 2020 "bubble" Finals. This title marked their 17th championship and James' fourth. Want great stories delivered right to your inbox? Jessa Duggar, 32, Opens Up About Weight Gain Amid Pregnancy With Baby No. 6

Jessa Duggar, 32, Opens Up About Weight Gain Amid Pregnancy With Baby No. 6 originally appeared on Parade. Jessa Duggar is no stranger to being pregnant, though she revealed that one change in her latest pregnancy has been how much weight she's gained. 'I've definitely gained a little more weight in this pregnancy than with my others,' Duggar, 32, explained in a YouTube video posted on Thursday, July 10. 'I didn't gain any weight in the first trimester, but then I made up for it in the second trimester. I don't know why.' She continued, 'I think [it] is just different being pregnant in my 30s. I don't feel like I'm eating any differently or anything like that — and I've been working out.' Duggar announced in March that she and her husband, Ben Seewald, are expecting their sixth baby together. The couple are already the parents to sons Spurgeon, 9, Henry, 8, and George, 18 months, and daughters Fern, 5, and Ivy, 3. The former TLC star explained that she initially thought she would be 'a little more trimmed' during her current pregnancy due to her frequent workouts. 'Most of my pregnancies, besides one, I have gained 40 pounds,' she said. 'My midwife would tell me, '40 weeks, 40 pounds,' and so that's just, kind of, my goal.' 'I know I'm going a little bit over that, [so] I'll probably be more like 45 pounds,' she said. '[I] try not to let it get me down. I have been getting the twins comments, though, three times in the last two weeks. People have asked me if I'm having twins, and I'm like, 'Nope, it's really not possible at this point that we wouldn't know that it was twins.'' Also in the video, Duggar explained that her kids are "excited for this little baby." "They all have their guesses [about the sex],' she said. 'Generally, it's been pretty much straight down the line. Boys want a boy, girls want a girl, [so] we'll see. I hope nobody's too disappointed. I think they're all just going to be super stoked for a baby.' Millions of Miami Heat memorabilia stolen in alleged heist

The Miami Heat reportedly lost priceless memorabilia in an alleged heist. NBA analyst Amin Elhassan told the Dan LeBatard Show Monday (July 29) described the incident was "perhaps one of the largest heists of this kind," in which millions of Miami Heat merchandise were stolen. "This one concerns memorabilia. Authenticated memorabilia stolen from the Miami Heat, and sold for many, many, many, many, many millions of dollars," Elhassan said per a Sports Illustrated report. According to Elhassan, he claims that not just one person is behind this heist and that they had insider knowledge. "It was described to me, this is one of the largest, if not the largest, memorabilia heist in the history of this country in any sport," Elhassan continued. "Some of the people involved include a Miami police officer and someone with ties to the NBA." Elhassan went on to explain that key players' jerseys, such as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O'Neal, and Chris Bosh, could have been sold on both the regular and black markets. However, it hasn't been confirmed which, if any, of those players' jerseys were sold. Timless pieces, such as NBA Finals jerseys, were also among those stolen, according to the NBA analyst. "Game worn [NBA] Finals stuff, and this person was taking them and selling them both within the regular market and within the black market," Elhassan said. "What red flagged within the memorabilia committee is you never see people with this much stuff, right? You might get a game-worn jersey, but to get, like, a game worn, full set, NBA Finals for multiple players?" The Miami Heat went to the NBA Finals seven times: 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2020, and 2023. The franchise has won three times overall in 2006, 2012, and 2013. It's unclear if the incident is under investigation at this time or when it exactly occurred.
