LOVE Is Blind star Jimmy Presnell has shown off the results of his hair transplant, revealing the staggering five-figure sum it cost him.
Jimmy, 29, who found fame on the Netflix dating show this year, took to TikTok to share the cost - as well as why he decided to have it done in the U.S. rather than abroad.

He told fans on TikTok: 'I decided to stay in the states for my procedure, which typically is a little bit more expensive to do.
"But there's a lot of things that come with that, and I'll explain that as well.'
In the video, Jimmy told his nearly 90,000 followers that he booked in with Solve Clinics, based in the River North area of Chicago.
He added: 'They charge roughly $5 a graft. I had a little over 2,000 grafts, I think 2,100 or 2,200. So roughly 10, 11 grand for the procedure."
While many people head to countries like Turkey for cheaper treatment, Jimmy said he wasn't keen on that route.
He said: 'When I was going through the evaluation process, I was getting quotes anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000.
'It included flight, it included hotel, all that good stuff, but there was no ongoing consultation or talking to your surgeon.
"So they just pretty much send you home after the surgery. You don't really have any type of relationship.'
Alongside the transplant itself, he's also been paying for extra treatments to boost the results.
He explained: 'I have been doing PRP, which I've made some videos on that and what that kind of entails, and those typically run anywhere from 400 to $600,' referring to platelet-rich plasma therapy.

Jimmy first documented the procedure back in December, posting daily updates as he healed.
Just three days after going under the knife, he revealed: 'It's swollen bad. It hurts to smile, it hurts to laugh. My head definitely feels super dry.'
He also made it clear the goal wasn't to wind the clock back completely, adding: 'I didn't want to try to have a hairline of a 17 or 18-year-old. It's not realistic.
"I wanted to look my age and have thicker, healthier-looking hair. That's the goal here.'
More recently, Jimmy marked the six-month point since surgery by posting a progress update on Instagram for his 274,000 followers.
'Officially 6 months post hair transplant with @solveclinics,' he captioned the clip. 'Super excited where I'm at already! Even more excited to see where it'll go!'
Leaning in to show his new hairline, he told viewers: 'I saw a ton of growth in months four, five, and six.' And now? 'It's getting thicker and thicker as the days go on.'
Jimmy shot to fame earlier this year when he appeared on Love Is Blind, where his ex-fiancée Chelsea made headlines for comparing herself to Megan Fox.
Hair Loss 101
HAIR pro Samantha Cusick has revealed everything you need to know about hair loss.
Why Does Hair Loss Happen?
Hair loss can be influenced by so many factors, from genetics and hormone changes to lifestyle choices.
Stress, diet, and even hair care habits can all impact hair strength.
It's perfectly normal to lose some hair each day, but sometimes the body can shed more than usual, responding to things like hormonal shifts or even life stressors.
Why It Happens More This Time of Year
Have you ever noticed your hair seems to shed more in autumn? That's seasonal shedding!
During summer, we hold onto extra hair to protect our scalp from the sun.
As the weather cools, it's like our body recalibrates and lets go of those extra strands.
Dry, cooler air can also make hair more brittle, making it easier to lose a little extra volume during these months.
Hacks and Affordable Buys to Treat Hair loss
The great news? You don't need to spend a fortune on pricey treatments to support your hair.
Try daily scalp massages—they're so simple but really help boost blood flow to the follicles.
Castor oil is another fantastic, budget-friendly option that's rich in nutrients to strengthen your strands.
Adding a bit more protein to your diet and a biotin supplement can also work wonders for overall hair health.
Products to Avoid
Steer clear of products with high levels of alcohol, sulphates, and parabens - they can be drying and damage hair over time.
Heat styling and chemical treatments can also cause breakage, so try to use them sparingly.
Instead, look for gentle, hydrating formulas to support your scalp and keep hair healthier through the seasons.

Netflix quietly cancels 'gem of a series' with 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video A Netflix show fans hailed as 'amazingly intimate' and a show for the 'whole family' has quietly been scrapped after just one series. In late 2023, documentary maker Greg Whitely treated fans to Wrestlers, which gave an peek behind the scenes at how a professional wrestling company was really run. It still has a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, but Al Snow – whose promotion OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) was the focus of the series – has exclusively told Metro that a second season is officially off the table for Netflix. 'There were certainly talks. They had an option for a second season up until last September, and they just never took the option,' he explained. '[It] just ticked past. There was no fanfare or anything of that nature. It just quietly moved on.' Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. The 62-year-old star heard on the grapevine that there had been some behind the scenes moves 'to do basically the same format with more established brands'. Indeed, filmmaker Whitely went onto work on series featuring the likes of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, while Netflix launched WWE Unreal this week, which gives fans an intimate look behind the curtain of the worldwide juggernaut. Al, who wrestled for WWE from 1995 to 2008, insisted the new WWE series is 'good for everybody', while the door isn't shut on OVW reviving Wrestlers in another way. 'From what I understand, we have the option to have a second season, if we wish. We just would do it with a different streaming service than Netflix,' he added. Confirmation Wrestlers isn't returning to the streamer will be a blow to viewers, who had hoped for a second season after getting hooked on the original run. 'This wrestling documentary is amazing! It made me cry because I felt the hard work of all the wrestlers and everyone at OVW,' wrote Charish Herida on Google Reviews. 'Great show the whole family can watch together. Fantastic binge worthy series,' added Kelly iztheBest, while William Luckett said: 'Greg Whitely makes amazingly intimate portrayals that you can tell are authentic and not overproduced.' And Simon Manley said: 'There are heavy emotional moments in here as well as heavy bumps and hats off to [them], there are some real cinematic moments here too. Greg Whiteley has created an absolute gem of a series that wrestling fans and non-wrestling fans alike will love.' Thankfully for OVW fans, the company is still going strong after being bought out by UK-based sports agency Morley Sports Management (MSM), who are launching a new initiative to give athletes in football, rugby and other sports a launchpad into wrestling. More Trending MSM founder and CEO Rob Edwards said: 'We absolutely know the talent is there in the UK – particularly in football – and the opportunities we OVW provide could give so many sports people another chance.' But Al warned that he's seen lots of athletes come into wrestling without realising the 'physical exertion and amount of commitment' required. View More » He added: 'A lot of them are like, 'You know what? That's it. I'm done.'' Got a story? Sky offers free upgrades to Glass Air TVs but only until this week's deadline

Sky is giving away an upgrade to Sky Glass shoppers that saves more than £70, but the deadline to claim it is fast approaching. Sky is enticing Brits to upgrade their smart TVs by offering a free upgrade on its new Sky Glass device. For a limited time, anyone ordering the 43" Sky Glass Air will receive a free upgrade with 12 months of Ultra HD channels at no extra cost. Typically costing an extra £6 per month, this free bonus delivers a crisper, more vibrant and higher quality image, along with immersive Dolby Atmos sound, across selected Sky Entertainment, Sky Cinema and Sky Sports channels. The deal provides a £72 saving compared to the regular price, but it's only available for a short time, as customers must claim the deal by Wednesday, July 30, to benefit from the free boost. The Sky Glass Air was first launched in June as a budget-friendly and slimmer version of the Sky Glass Gen 2. For those unfamiliar with the Glass range, the device is Sky's own-brand smart TV that includes Sky channels and streaming apps built in, eliminating the need for a satellite dish or even a Sky box. Prices begin at £6 per month for the Sky Glass Air, less than half that of the £14 Gen 2. Despite its lower price tag, the Glass Air still features a 4K HDR Quantum Dot screen and Dolby Audio speaker system, with other notable features including hands-free voice control, intelligent and personalised recommendations, and a straightforward plug-in-and-play setup, reports the Express. It's important to note that the £6 monthly fee covers only the television itself and must be combined with a Sky TV and Netflix package. These start from £15 per month for the Essential TV bundle, which offers more than 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic, as well as Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions. There's also the choice to add more than 35 additional channels, such as Sky Documentaries, Sky Comedy and National Geographic, with the £22 Ultimate TV bundle. Choosing this package along with the 43" Sky Glass Air results in a total monthly cost of £28, plus a one-off upfront charge of £20 to get everything set up. Buyers should also consider the duration of the plan; the Sky Glass Air element run for 48 months, while the TV and Netflix package is significantly shorter at 24 months. The TV is available in three colour options: Carbon Grey, Cotton White or Sea Green. However, there are numerous other alternatives for those who prefer to pay in full, including Amazon's 20% discount on the 43" Samsung Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV. This top-selling Samsung TV on the site has been marked down from £299 to £239 – a saving of £60. Meanwhile, Virgin Media's Summer of Sports sale has resulted in price reductions of up to £336 on its TV, Sky Sports and fibre broadband packages. The largest saving is on the Biggest Combo bundle, which includes eight Sky Sports channels, over 200 regular channels, Sky Cinema, Netflix, and 516Mbps broadband. However, for those who have chosen to stick with Sky Glass, there have been some glowing reviews on the Sky Community forum. One user said: "I can't fault it. It was very easy to assemble, and account syncing to my Glass downstairs was straightforward. "The 55" TV is still a heavy piece of equipment compared to the numerous Samsung TVs I've had. Picture settings on auto seem suffice at this stage and the sound initially is totally different from the Glass downstairs – the speakers are at the back so it just projects differently, not in a bad way I might add. Speech is clear and it's certainly loud enough." Another said: "This is a great TV that's perfect for the average TV viewer considering subscribing to Sky whilst seeking a good audio-visual experience at an affordable price. It's good as a standalone TV and works equally well for those who have already invested in a decent audio system." However, the same user also noted it may not be for everyone, adding: "It's perfectly suitable for casual gamers, although hardcore gamers would likely want to look elsewhere for a proper gaming TV to connect their gaming console to."

BBC Strictly major shakeup as two new stars confirmed for 2025

Two fresh faces are joining the BBC Strictly pro cast this year as new pictures show this year's lineup heading to rehearsals. The countdown to the next series of BBC Strictly Come Dancing is now well and truly on, with the pro dancers being confirmed for series 23. After much speculation over the past week about who will hit the famous dance floor in the autumn, rumours were circulating about the latest round of celebrities set to take part, and which pros will return. ‌ New dancers were being tipped for the next season, including So You Think You Can Dance star Alexis Warr and Australia's Dancing With The Stars season three's Julian Caillon, and now it's been confirmed by BBC bosses they are part of the 2025 line-up. ‌ An official announcement on Instagram reads: 'Please welcome our two new Strictly Professional Dancers! The Welsh star was forced to withdraw early during last year's series due to an injury following a gruelling cancer battle in 2023. Amy, 34, underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy after receiving her breast cancer diagnosis in 2023. In a post to her 705k followers on Instagram, Amy said: "Feeling grateful, grounded, and SO excited for @bbcstrictly rehearsals to start tomorrow. ‌ "Year 9 – let's go!" The show is set to get into swing in September and rumoured celebrities set to take part include Stacey Solomon, Paul C Brunson, Dani Dyer, Ashley Cain, and Angellica Bell. ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
