Ronit Roy
to take over the role. Sudhanshu had exited the show midway through 2024 after portraying the character for four years, although he never publicly revealed the reason behind his exit. Now, Ronit Roy has broken his silence and responded to the ongoing rumours.
Responding to the reports of joining Anupamaa and replacing Sudhanshu on the show, the actor told TellyChakkar, "I'm not doing Anupamaa - the news is completely false, and I won't be playing Vanraj."
Several media reports suggested that Ronit Roy was being considered for a major entry in Anupamaa as Vanraj Shah, a character the lead often calls 'Mr Shah'. In the current plot, Anupamaa, played by Rupali Ganguly, is shown facing challenges and trying to restart her life in the busy city of Mumbai by using her cooking and dancing skills.

Anupamaa: Rahi defeats Anupamaa in the dance competition
In the latest episode of Anupamaa, the long-awaited face-off between Anupama and her daughter Rahi took place during a dance competition. They had previously met when Rahi had asked Anupama to stay away from her, and Anupama had agreed with reluctance. However, destiny brought them together again through the competition.
