Anupamaa: Rahi defeats Anupamaa in the dance competition
However, destiny brought them together again through the competition.
Anupama had participated in the event to arrange money for Bharti's operation, while Rahi had been competing to win the trophy for Anju's Dance Academy. Neither had known the other was taking part until the semi-final round, where they unexpectedly came face to face, reopening old wounds. The encounter affected Rahi deeply and left the Shah and Kothari families angry, as they believed Anupama had deliberately entered the competition to seek revenge.
Despite the emotional turmoil, Anupama decided to perform with her team. She gathered herself and began dancing on stage, and the performance went smoothly at first. However, as soon as Rahi entered, Anupama became distracted. Seeing her daughter glaring at her with anger, she faltered, making mistakes during the routine.
Eventually, Anupama froze mid-performance, unable to continue. The judges and audience were left confused by her sudden pause.
Preet, one of her teammates, lost her temper, grabbed Anupama's hand and confronted her for jeopardising their performance.
During the announcement of the finalists, the hosts revealed that Team Josh Unlimited had advanced to the finals, followed by Anuj Dance Academy, led by Rahi and her group. Rahi and her teammates celebrated their success with joy.
Meanwhile, Anupama and her team appeared visibly upset as they returned to the stage. Members of the audience speculated that Anupama might have intentionally lost the round to let her daughter win, surprising everyone present.
Rahi responded by stating that her team had delivered a strong performance, which was why the judges had selected them. She added that, beyond the victory, she felt proud to have defeated Anupama.

Anupamaa: Rahi faces a tough choice; suffers an anxiety attack
The drama in Anupamaa takes an intense turn as new conflicts come to light. In today's episode, Khyati urges Rahi not to back out of the much-awaited dance competition. Vasundhara, too, pushes Rahi to see Anupamaa as her rival, insisting that she must defeat her mother on stage. Caught between loyalty and ambition, Rahi finds herself torn about whether to participate. Meanwhile, Mahi keeps a watchful eye on her, a sly smile playing on her lips. Later, at a media conference, reporters question Rahi about competing against her own mother. Responding sharply, Rahi remarks that Anupamaa choosing to compete with her daughter 'says enough about her character.' When Anupamaa is asked the same question, she stays composed, stating that, for now, 'Rahi is just my competitor, not my daughter. ' Privately, Anupamaa reminds herself that she has the unwavering support of the Kothari family and, of course, Prem. However, Mahi has plans of her own. She sets her sights on joining the competition, hinting that Rahi may not be as talented a dancer as she believes. Prem, concerned about the growing rift, warns Vasundhara and Khyati that encouraging Rahi could damage her bond with Anupamaa. But Rahi, frustrated, tells Prem that he should focus on supporting Anupamaa instead of pitying her. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Are you from Bangladesh? Mimoh Chakraborty recalls the ‘mega stardom' wife Madalsa Sharma saw with Anupamaa: ‘My dad Mithun Chakraborty pushed her to take it up'
Actor Mimoh Chakraborty, who was last seen in Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, recently appeared on SCREEN's Dear Me Season 2. During the conversation, Mimoh opened up about his struggles and journey. He also expressed pride in his wife, Madalsa Sharma, for her success on television with Anupamaa. Talking about the time Madalsa was offered the show, Mimoh said, 'She got this show offered at the peak of COVID-19. Lockdown was in March and they started shooting in July. They were shooting in extreme conditions. She took the dare, and my dad pushed her and supported her to take this up. He always says that if you ever get a shot on TV, take it. He says that the generation today knows him because of TV, so we never let go of a good opportunity on TV if we get one.' Also Read: When Mimoh revealed father Mithun Chakraborty didn't help with his film debut: 'He didn't make me feel like a star kid' 'She took it, and the show became a blockbuster. She saw mega-stardom. Everywhere she goes, it's Anupamaa Ki Kavya. It's a proud feeling as a husband. I have seen her waking up every day at 5 am, leaving at 6 am for the shoot, and being on set at 7 am. They would shoot till 9-10 pm, and she would be so tired that she would fall asleep while having dinner. There is so much work to do in TV, but she never gave up,' Mimoh added. Talking about the success of Anupamaa, Mimoh Chakraborty said, 'I was completely blown away to see the popularity her character in Anupamaa got. None of us had imagined it would be the way it is. Even today, when we go out, 90 per cent of people call her Kavya. Anupamaa penetrated every generation. Her role was very strong. Kavya was a woman of today; she stood up for what she believed in.' Mimoh also spoke about how they got married and said that his dad, Mithun Chakraborty, had a crucial role to play in it. 'I had done a film with Madalsa's mom, Sheela David, called Hamilton Palace, and we had always known each other. That's how I met Madalsa. We were friends. There was familiarity. Her dad had worked with my dad. When the marriage conversations began, we just started talking to each other, and one thing led to another.' A post shared by Madalsa M Chakraborty (@madalsasharma) 'One day, I told her that my dad is very much into astrology, and I asked for her birth details to see what the future had in store for her. When I gave her birth details to dad, he said that we would make a good couple. When I told this to Madalsa, she thought it was very clever — kind of like a smooth way to DM her. And then, we got married,' said Mimoh. Mimoh Chakraborty and Madalsa Sharma tied the knot in 2018. On the work front, after Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, Mimoh will be next seen in the next installment of the Haunted franchise.
