Former Premier League side release first-of-its-kind kit from sportswear brand part-owned by Harry Kane

LUTON TOWN have unveiled a first-of-its-kind kit for the upcoming season.
The shirt is the first of any club's to be fully recyclable.

Luton Town's first new home shirt since 2023/24 is made by official partner Reflo.
The strip, designed by sustainable sportswear brand Reflo, is made from 100 per cent recycled polyester and engineered with the ability to be mechanically recycled.
Luton Town described the move as a meaningful solution to the 92 million tonnes of textiles that end up in landfill each year.
But while the material used to make the kit if new, the style is far from it.
The design, which features Luton's traditional orange on the body and black sleeves, is similar to the club's shirt from the 1980s.

Gary Sweet, Luton Town's executive officer, said: "We are delighted to launch our partnership with Reflo with this new, unique kit, while reminiscent of the one we watched our heroes of 80s wear, like Basher and Raddy.
"The Supporters' Trust have been involved in the design process from the very start, and the fans who have seen it already have been impressed."
Kit maker Reflo, who plant a tree for every product sold, is part-owned by Harry Kane.
Having joined the company in 2024, the brand pledged to plant 500 trees for every goal that Kane scored during the 2023/24 season.

The England captain said after joining the company: "Their dedication to sustainability and performance in golf is inspiring, and perfectly aligns with everything that I believe in - both on and off the pitch."
Luton Town are preparing for life in League One, with their first game against newly promoted AFC Wimbledon.

They were relegated from the Championship after a final-day defeat to West Brom, just a year after The Hatters were relegated from the Premier League.
The last time the Hatters changed their shirt they were entering the Premier League in the 2023/24 season.
That came after announcing last season they will change their home shirt every other year - instead of the usual annual churn most clubs opt for.

Ian Rush explains heartbreaking reason he didn't attend Diogo Jota funeral
Liverpool legend Ian Rush has revealed the heartbreaking reason why he wasn't able to attend the funeral of Diogo Jota last week. The Liverpool forward and his brother Andre Silva were killed in a car crash in northwest Spain in the early hours of Thursday morning. The two were laid to rest in their hometown of Gondomar on Saturday in a private funeral mass. Jota's wife Rute Cardoso, whom he wed just two weeks ago, and their three children were joined by a delegation from Liverpool, with Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson carrying wreaths into the church for their teammate. Portugal teammates, including Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva, were also in attendance to pay tribute to the forward, whose last-ever match saw him help his country win the Nations League over Spain. We grieve deeply for them both.' Paying further tribute to Jota, who scored 65 goals in 182 appearances for the Merseyside club, Rush added: 'Diogo was a great player, probably the best natural finisher at the club. He always gave 100 percent. He would make a difference whether he started or came on as a substitute. He would never dominate the headlines and that was the same off the pitch. 'He was a real down to earth person, a real gent. He just got on with things. He will be sadly missed for the special person he was as much as for what he did on a football field for Liverpool and Portugal.' Having postponed the start of pre-season after Jota's passing, Liverpool are now reportedly set to return to training this week. 'This is especially hard for the Liverpool players who will soon be back in pre-season training,' Rush added, sending his support to those players as they begin gearing up for the new Premier League season.
