SPRINGFIELD — A reported crash on the Interstate is impacting traffic during the morning commute.
Check out the video above for the report as it aired live on Ozarks First Daybreak.
MODOT's Ozarks Traffic website indicates the right lane is closed on Eastbound I-44 just before Exit 80. The report says the crash is near mile-marker 79.4 which is just west of the Glenstone exit. There are no confirmed reports of injuries at this time.
Avoid the area if possible, as traffic on the interstate is backed up during the 6 a.m. hour.

ALLOUEZ, Wis. (WFRV) – Allouez officials announced that lanes of an intersection inside the village will be closed on Monday, with the closure expected to last for 10 to 15 days. Green Bay tattoo shop offers $200 giveaway to benefit local animal rescue According to a release from the Village of Allouez, in partnership with the Brown County Highway Department, village officials will close the outside north and southbound lanes at Webster Avenue and Green Avenue starting on Monday, August 4. The closure is said to be necessary to allow for improvements to be made to the existing pedestrian crossing, which will include new ADA curb ramps, rapid flashing beacons, pavement markings, and signage. The improvement work, weather permitting, is expected to keep the intersection lanes closed for 10 to 15 days. LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A car crashed into an iconic bar on the Las Vegas Strip Monday morning. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the car crashed into Dino's Lounge around 6:30 a.m., causing major damage. As of 8:15 a.m., all the southbound lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard are closed to traffic at Wyoming Avenue, north of the STRAT Hotel and Casino. The driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the investigation is still in the early stages.
