After being questioned, Paul urged Doug not to tell anyone what he was asked by the detective. But, as the pressure mounted Doug caved and revealed to Pete that he was being questioned over nixers he did with stolen cars. Pete was shocked, and soon enraged when Doug told him that Paul brought them in. Elsewhere on the show, Babs and Victor proposed a competition between themselves to see who could get more tips on their taxi fares. A look at tonight's episode of Fair City The two got straight to work schmoozing potential clients and Babs asked Lorcan to help her win extra work, to beat Victor. While using his help as leverage, Lorcan got Babs to invite him over for a movie night so he could spend more time with Ruby. Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Aidan was still prodding for Ger's whereabouts and overheard Dean reveal that she was staying with Sharon. STUNNED GREETING Wasting no time, Aidan raced to the house, where a stunned Ger greeted him at the door. Aidan told her he has been tasked to find the rat, but she distracted him with false information on the man in the locket photo. And finally, despite Cass getting the jitters before his speech to the historical society, his speech was a hit. Darren stole one of the historical society's artefacts – a small toy soldier, in the aftermath of the talk. And Sean told Cass about the missing soldier, explaining that the society was upset and that they needed to find it. Advertisement

The Traitors UK, US and Australia lands on RTÉ Player today

Ahead of the debut of The Traitors Ireland later this year, the first seasons of the UK, US and Australian version of the global hit are available to view on the RTÉ Player. The triple whammy gives Irish viewers a chance to get to know the psychological reality competition, with The Traitors UK season one also airing on RTÉ2 from 2 July. The show sees a group of strangers arrive at a remote castle to play the ultimate game of deception, betrayal and trust, all in the hope of winning a cash prize. But, hidden amongst them are the Traitors, who will attempt to secretly murder a player every night, without getting caught. It's up to the others, `the Faithfuls', to try to detect who the Traitors are, and banish them from the game, before they become their next victim. Filming has concluded on The Traitors Ireland and it will air on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player this Autumn with Derry Girls star Siobhán McSweeney as host and Slane Castle as the venue. The show will feature contestants from all around the country, following a national casting call for applications last year. In The Traitors UK, 22 strangers descend upon a remote Scottish castle, with Claudia Winkleman as presenter in a game of strategy and suspicion. The Traitors US is hosted by Scottish actor Alan Cumming and sees 20 players face off in the ultimate murder mystery game, where manipulation is key and a cash prize is up for grabs. 24 contestants enter a grand heritage hotel for The Traitors Australia to form uneasy alliances and brave psychological challenges to claim a cash prize with Rodger Corser as host. Since its launch in the Netherlands in 2021, The Traitors format has had 30 international versions and numerous returning seasons. Hit adaptations of the format include the Emmy-winning US version for NBC Universal's streaming service Peacock and BBC One's BAFTA-winning version in the UK, which drew in 8 million viewers for the season two finale. The US versions will return for a third, fourth and fifth season and the UK version has been commissioned for a fourth season and celebrity version.
