Hoffenheim and Leeds reach full agreement on Stach transfer

Yahoo5 days ago
Anton Stach's transfer from TSG Hoffenheim to Leeds United is considered a done deal, according to Sky Germany.
A full agreement with Hoffenheim has been reached after intensive negotiations in recent days.
A verbal agreement was already in place, as revealed and the Sinsheim club are set to receive €20million plus add-ons.
The news comes just three days after after the 26-year-old agreed terms with the Premier League side before negotiations began.
Across all competitions, Stach has represented the Kraichgauers on 71 occasions, scoring 4 goals and providing 6 assists.
VfB Stuttgart were also reportedly courting the two-time German international, but it appears they have lost out to the Yorkshire side.

England have it inside them to win

Euro 2025 final: England v Spain Date: Sunday, 27 July; Venue: St Jakob-Park, Basel; Time: 17:00 BST Coverage: Live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer; live commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds; text commentary on BBC Sport website and app Mariona Caldentey says England "have it inside them" to win Euro 2025 and Spain must be wary when the teams meet again in the final. Sunday's game in Basel (17:00 BST kick-off) will be a repeat of the 2023 Women's World Cup final - which Spain won 1-0 in Sydney. The two teams also went head-to-head in this year's Women's Nations League, with England picking up a 1-0 victory at Wembley in February, before suffering a 2-1 defeat in Barcelona in June. Midfielder Caldentey won the Women's Champions League with Arsenal this season and was named the WSL player of the year - so knows the Lionesses well. "I know the footballers they are and I know what they can do," Caldentey told BBC Sport. "It's a final, so they are dangerous even though they can't maybe play the greatest football yet, but they have it inside them. It will be a hard, but good game." Reigning champions England have had a rollercoaster tournament, overcoming several setbacks to reach their third successive major final. Following defeat by France in their opening group game, they came through a quarter-final penalty shootout against Sweden and needed an extra-time winner in their semi-final to beat Italy. World champions Spain have now won six consecutive knockout matches at major tournaments - but will be competing in their first Euros final. "Today we can enjoy. Tomorrow we have to start thinking of England," said two-time Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmati following their 1-0 win over Germany. "I know England have played twice for 120 minutes. We trust in our squad. We believe in our players. "They have a lot of players that we faced a lot of times and in 2023. We know them and they know us. We want to prepare the best we can."

AC Milan ready to reluanch pursuit of Ardon Jashari

AC Milan are planning to resume talks with Club Brugge for the signing of their top midfield target Ardon Jashari, according to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto. Negotiations have hit a standstill after Brugge rejected Milan's offer worth €35 million plus add-ons. The Belgian outfit remain firm on their stance that Ashari will not leave the club unless their €40 million valuation is met. However, Milan have been given hope due to the Swiss international's efforts to force out a move from Brugge. Jashari has snubbed offers from West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers in favour of a move to San Siro. A verbal agreement on a five-year deal with Milan is already in place, which would see Jashari earn around €2.4 million per season. Milan are not done with their midfield reinforcements after signing Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci in this transfer window. Jashari is viewed as a long-term investment for the Rossoneri after a stellar breakout campaign last season. The 22-year-old bagged four goals and six assists in 52 appearances in all competitions and was named the Belgian Pro Player of the Season. He also performed consistently in the Champions League, putting in a man of the match display against Atalanta in the knockout play-offs. Jashari can operate as a deep-lying playmaker or a box-to-box midfielder, with an excellent passing range to control the tempo of the game and breach the opposition defences. His athletic ability and excellent reading of the game allow him to anticipate danger quickly and make crucial tackles and interceptions. Along with Ricci, Jashari has all the qualities to dominate Milan's midfield for the foreseeable future.

Which striker would United go for this summer?

After signing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, United are eyeing a move for a prolific No. 9. By Ravi Kumar Jha Published on July 24, 2025, 09:33 IST After signing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, United are eyeing a move for a prolific No. 9. Ruben Amorim is thinking of a team who can score more and more goals, and thus, they bought two top goalscorers of Premier League (2024/25 season), i.e. Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. They are now looking at three of the options that is available in the market. Manchester United are showing no signs of slowing down in the transfer market. Under manager Ruben Amorim, the Red Devils are focused on building a high-scoring team, and the hunt is now on for a prolific No. 9. Amorim wants to boost his side's goal output even further, and United are considering three striker options currently available in the market: Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) Watkins had an outstanding campaign with Aston Villa, continuing to prove his credentials as one of the most consistent forwards in the Premier League. His movement, link-up play, and goal-scoring instincts make him an ideal fit for Amorim's attacking system. However, United have yet to make any formal contact with the Midlands club regarding a potential move. Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea) Another Premier League option is Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson. The Senegalese striker had a mixed season but showed flashes of brilliance with his pace and ability to stretch defences. Although Jackson remains on United's radar, no talks have taken place so far between the two clubs. Benjamin Šeško (RB Leipzig) The Slovenian forward is one of the most exciting young strikers in Europe. At just 22, Šeško has shown incredible potential at RB Leipzig with his physical presence, finishing ability, and intelligence in the box. He has been discussed internally at Old Trafford, but his €80 million price tag remains a significant obstacle. At this stage, United are reluctant to go that high for a young and relatively unproven talent at the top level. With Amorim aiming to form a lethal attacking force, United's next striker signing could be crucial.
