Gunther Reacts To Rumors That Goldberg Would Show Up During World Title Win On WWE RAW
'The Ring General' regained the World Heavyweight Championship from Jey Uso on Monday's episode of RAW. Gunther's win surprised many people who might have written the match off as a 'typical' TV rematch.

However, Gunther wasn't surprised, as he addressed all of the talk about his match during the RAW Recap show. The new champion not only addressed people who felt it was a 'nothing' match, but also commented on the rumors that Goldberg or Seth Rollins would show up.
Sam Roberts: 'Gunther, I say all of that to say congratulations, you're the World Heavyweight Champion.'
Gunther: 'Thank you, of course I am. You said that it caught everybody by surprise? I don't know what's surprising about this. I guess going in, it got perceived as like a 'nothing' match, like 'just a 'Mania rematch.' And everybody was speculating like, Seth Rollins is [going to cash in or teasing cashing in] with his briefcase, Goldberg is going to show up to finally kick my ass.
'The reality is, when I was World Heavyweight Champion the first time, all of those big names, they stayed away from me, and for very good reason. Because ever since I arrived in this company, I've been the most dominant guy around here. And yes, I lost at WrestleMania and I lost to Jey Uso, but I'm going to give him credit. But this is a marathon, not a sprint. And in that case, nobody matches me. Nobody's got the mental ability, nobody's got the confidence, nobody's got the stamina to last that long. It's only me. I'm competing in my own class.'
Is Gunther worried about who's next?
Later in the show, Roberts asked Gunther if he believed that no one ran in because they were afraid of the consequences. Gunther said he's not worried about looking for his next opponent, and it doesn't matter who it is, because they lack confidence facing him in the ring.

Seth Rollins won this year's men's Money In The Bank contract. Goldberg has been preparing for his retirement match, and Gunther has long been rumored as the opponent. This is mostly due to their heated interaction at last year's Bad Blood event in Atlanta.
Goldberg's retirement match has not been confirmed publicly, but he recently dropped a big hint about where it could take place.

WWE Tag Team Champ sends message to injured Liv Morgan
The post WWE Tag Team Champ sends message to injured Liv Morgan appeared first on ClutchPoints. One-half of the newly minted Tag Team Champions, WWE star Finn Bálor, sent a message to the injured Liv Morgan, who's out with a shoulder injury. Advertisement He took to X, formerly Twitter, to share an image after the June 30, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW. Bálor and Jd McDonagh won the World Tag Team Championship from the New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) during the June 30 episode of RAW. The new champions posed with their Judgment Day stablemates. Now, all of the non-injured members of the stable are holding championship gold. Dominik Mysterio is the Intercontinental Champion, and Roxanne Perez took Morgan's place as half of the Women's Tag Team Champions with Raquel Rodriguez. Is Finn Bálor gonna turn on WWE's Liv Morgan once she returns from her shoulder injury? Joe Camporeale-Imagn Images. Now that Judgment Day is holding most of RAW's gold, it remains unclear where Morgan fits into the group. Will she take back her half of the Tag Team Championship when she returns, assuming Perez and Rodriguez don't drop them? Advertisement Or will the group kick her out? Kicking members out of Judgment Day is nothing new. Previously, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley kicked Edge (aka Adam Copeland) out of Judgment Day as Bálor joined. In 2024, Priest and Ripley were kicked out of the group as well. Since then, Priest and Ripley have become two of the company's top babyface stars. Morgan was previously a babyface for most of her main roster career. However, her heel turn started in early 2024 when she embarked on her 'revenge tour.' She eventually won the Women's World Championship from Becky Lynch, holding it for 226 days before losing it to Ripley during the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025. Despite losing the title, Morgan remained a crucial part of RAW's roster. She seemed destined to feud with Nikki Bella heading into Evolution 2. However, her injury may derail those plans. Advertisement During the June 16, 2025, edition of WWE RAW, Liv Morgan was injured. It occurred in the opening moments of her match against Kairi Sane. It happened during a routine move. Morgan tripped and landed awkwardly on her right shoulder. She has since gotten surgery, and she is now on the road to recovery. It has been several years since Kross' last singles match at a PLE, and he made the most of his opportunity. Kross may have lost, but his strong showing could lead to more chances in the main event. His backstage segments created intrigue, and he made the most of his limited screen time. Kross first debuted in WWE in 2020. He won the NXT Championship from Keith Lee at TakeOver: XXX. WWE star Cody Rhodes reveals timeline for potential heel turn
The post WWE star Cody Rhodes reveals timeline for potential heel turn appeared first on ClutchPoints. While he has been a babyface since his 2022 return, former WWE Champion Cody Rhodes may eventually undergo a heel turn. Advertisement Speaking to Kay Adams at the 2025 Fanatics Fest, Rhodes revealed he will be a face for at least another year. He seems open to it once he's 'changed.' 'I think you have a good solid year [as a babyface], maybe even three years, because I am not changing until I'm changed, if that makes any sense,' Rhodes explained. But, for now, Rhodes will remain a babyface for the foreseeable future. He will probably have another reign with the Undisputed WWE Championship before turning heel. Will Cody Rhodes turn heel in WWE? It is unknown when Rhodes will turn heel. Rhodes has been a face since his return to WWE in 2022. He remains one of their most popular babyfaces, Advertisement So, it is surprising Rhodes is even open to the idea. He previously played heel characters in his first WWE stint and in AEW. However, he has yet to do so since his reinvention. Currently, he is in the finals of the 2025 King of the Ring tournament. If he beats Randy Orton at Night of Champions, he will earn a championship match opportunity at SummerSlam. More than likely, Rhodes will choose to face Cena. He lost the WWE Championship to Cena at WrestleMania 41. It was a monumental win for Cena, who broke the record for the most recognized world championships in WWE history. The loss ended Rhodes' 378-day reign as WWE Champion. Rhodes won his first world championship at WrestleMania 40, ending Roman Reigns' 1,316-day run as champion. During his reign, Rhodes successfully defended his title against AJ Styles, Logan Paul, and Solo Sikoa. Advertisement Rhodes has won two Royal Rumbles (in 2023 and 2024) since his return. WWE has continued to position him as the face of the company. A heel turn will be shocking if and when it ever happens.
