Celebrities - both from the world of F1 and not - graced one of the biggest motoring festivals this weekend: the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex. Singer and actress Dua Lipa and American actor turned racer Patrick Dempsey were spotted at the event, while popular F1 names included Williams team principal James Vowles, McLaren CEO Zak Brown, former F1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone, and the Haas F1 team.
Lipa has collaborated with Porsche to design the Dua Lipa Rennstall 911 GT3 RS, which will be auctioned by RM Sotheby's. The car was unveiled at this year's Monaco Grand Prix, and the money raised will be handed to the Sunny Hill Foundation.
The predominantly green design with contrasting swirls of gold, red, and black will surely make its mark in the minds of onlookers. The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter was asked at Goodwood about her role in the car's exterior design. She said:
"I feel very lucky to get to work with the Porsche team and to create something that feels really unique and fun, and to bring it down here to Goodwood, and the sun's shining for us, so it's a good day all round."

"We'll see. We'll see. I'll leave that up to Karen. I'm here as a trusty sidekick."
She added:
"I love speed. Adrenaline all the way."
American actor turned racing driver Patrick Dempsey was present at Goodwood as brand ambassador of TAG Heuer, the Official Timing Partner of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Dempsey ensured he put in some well-timed laps.
Emerson Fittipaldi was also present at the event with other popular faces from the F1 paddock who took the wheel of epic racing cars, such as Brown, Vowles, and Aston Martin managing partner Adrian Newey. Fittipaldi was also joined by fellow F1 champions, Damon Hill, Mario Andretti, Alain Prost, Jacques Villeneuve, Nigel Mansell, Sir Jackie Stewart, and Mika Hakkinen.

Vowles completed the run in the Williams FW14B F1 car that helped Mansell secure his championship title in 1992. Speaking about his Goodwood run in the iconic car, the Williams team boss said:
"It's been a childhood dream of mine to do Goodwood in a 14B, I mean, that's not true, first of all just to see the 14B and touch it was a childhood dream but to go beyond there and have the ability to drive it in Goodwood in front of hundreds of thousands of people was a dream come true."
During his run, Vowles was also chatting on the radio to Mansell, who was driving the FW11.

2026 Honda Prelude Near-Production Prototype Revealed

You know the reborn Prelude has been a long time coming when it's making a second appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and you still can't buy one. Honda brought a concept to last year's event and returned this past weekend with a near-production prototype. Unlike its first outing in the UK, this time the Prelude ran up the famous hill. Honda also allowed bystanders to sit inside the finished cabin, a sharp contrast to 2024's approach when the doors were locked and the windows covered to block prying eyes. A new walkaround video shot during the festival showcases two flavors of the Prelude, including the Boost Blue Pearl car that tackled the hill climb. Essentially, the three-door liftback picks up where the Civic Coupe left off and seems decently practical despite its sloping roofline. It features a split-folding rear seat, allowing you to fit two passengers in the back, provided they're not too tall. As you'd expect, rear visibility is compromised by the thick C-pillars, but that's the price of a sleek coupe design. Inside, the layout borrows heavily from the Civic and Integra , so most of it should feel familiar. While both of those models offer a stick, the sixth-generation Prelude will be automatic-only. The quirky CR-Z once combined a manual with an electrified powertrain, but unfortunately, that's not the case here. Even though you can't row your own gears, Honda has added an S+ button to enable 'sharper simulated shifts,' mimicking an eight-speed gearbox via paddles mounted behind the steering wheel. The fakery doesn't stop there since engine noise is also artificially enhanced. Given Honda's push toward electrification and increasingly strict emissions standards, a purely gas-powered Prelude with a proper manual seems unlikely. Despite debuting back in October 2023 at the Tokyo Mobility Show , Honda remains tight-lipped about the technical specs. However, it has confirmed that the Prelude will inherit the Civic Type R's dual-axis front suspension and adaptive dampers. It's also said to have wider front and rear tracks than the Civic, a shorter wheelbase, a 10% lighter body, increased rigidity, and a stiffer suspension setup. Don't expect to chase Nürburgring lap times, though. Honda has already said the Prelude won't be 'the sportiest, zippiest car that's going to be tossed into the circuits.' Whether it can live up to the legacy of previous generations remains to be seen. The design doesn't exactly reference the past, but seeing the glass half full, at least Honda didn't turn it into a Prelude SUV. I'm looking at you, Mitsubishi Eclipse . The new Prelude will go on sale in the United States later this year and arrive in Europe in 2026. Should the Ravens give Mike Green a fully guaranteed four-year rookie contract?

Mike Green is one of 30 second-round picks from the 2025 NFL draft still unsigned, and Adam Schefter reports guaranteed money could be the holdup. The 2025 NFL draft concluded over seventy days ago, and while most of the first-round picks and late-round picks have signed, there are thirty-second-round picks that are still unsigned, with less than a week to go before training camps kick off around the league for all 32 teams. Baltimore selected All-American pass rusher Mike Green with pick No. 59, and reports are that the former Marshall star pass rusher and 29 other second-round picks are haggling over guaranteed money on the standard four-year deal. First-round picks usually have guaranteed four-year deals with a potential fifth-year option, but up until this past April, fully guaranteed contracts weren't the norm for second-round picks. That all changed when the Texans gave Jayden Higgins, the 34th overall pick, the first fully guaranteed contract ever for a second-round pick on May 8. On May 9, the Browns followed suit, offering Carson Schwesinger, the 33rd overall pick in the second round, a fully guaranteed contract as well. Schefter reports that since then, no second-round picks have signed. Los Angeles Chargers second-round rookie wide receiver Tre Harris may be a training camp holdout and could well be the first in an unprecedented number after he did not report on Saturday -- the deadline for rookies -- NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. NFL teams have no problem colluding against guaranteed contracts, and Green could miss time entering training camp if a deal isn't reached. It's a touchy scenario for Baltimore, which had an urgent need for more explosion at the edge rusher position, so they landed the draft's most talented but questionable prospect. Last season, as a redshirt sophomore, Green led the FBS in sacks (17.0), tackles for loss (22.5), sack yardage (144), and tackles by a defensive lineman (84). His 17 sacks established a new Sun Belt Conference record.

Ellen DeGeneres supports Rosie O'Donnell as Donald Trump threatens to strip her US citizenship

Ellen DeGeneres has thrown her support behind Rosie O'Donnell after President Trump threatened to strip the comedian of her US citizenship. The former talk show host, 67, took to Instagram over the weekend to give props to the 'A League of Their Own' star, 63, after she branded the commander in chief a 'dangerous old soulless man.' 'Good for you,' DeGeneres — who moved to England with her wife earlier this year — wrote alongside a screenshot of Trump's Truth Social post, as well as a screenshot of O'Donnell's response to the president. 5 Ellen DeGeneres has thrown her support behind Rosie O'Donnell after President Trump threatened to strip the comedian of her US citizenship. Getty Images for Live Nation On Saturday, the POTUS raged that he's giving 'serious consideration' to taking away the comedian's US citizenship — prompting her to fire back with a flurry of posts ripping him and picturing him with Jeffrey Epstein. The digital spat kickstarted after Trump branded O'Donnell a 'threat to humanity' in a fiery post on his social media platform. 'Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,' Trump wrote. 'She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!' O'Donnell has been living in the Dublin suburb of Howth, in Ireland, with her 12-year-old child since January, having originally moved there following Trump's election win over Kamala Harris. 5 The 'A League of Their Own' star, 63, branded the commander in chief a 'dangerous old soulless man.' @rosie/Instagram 5 DeGeneres reposted a screenshot of O'Donnell's response to the president. @ellendegeneres/Instagram In March, O'Donnell revealed she and her child, who is non-binary and autistic, were in the process of obtaining Irish citizenship following their trans-Atlantic move. The comedian took to Instagram over the weekend to issue a scathing response to the prez following his strongly-worded post. 'Hey Donald – you're rattled again? 18 years later and I still live rent-free in that collapsing brain of yours,' O'Donnell said in one post, featuring a photo of Trump posing with Epstein. 'You call me a threat to humanity – but I'm everything you fear: a loud woman a queer woman. A mother who tells the truth an American who got out of the country b4 u set it ablaze,' she railed. 'You crave loyalty – I teach my children to question power you sell fear on golf courses – I make art about surviving trauma you lie, you steal, you degrade – I nurture, I create, I persist. You are everything that is wrong with America… I'm not yours to silence. I never was.' 5 Trump, for his part, branded O'Donnell a 'threat to humanity' in a fiery post on his social media platform. Getty Images It's unclear what legal basis Trump could use to strip the Long Island native of her American citizenship. Under current law, Americans cannot lose their US citizenship status even if they obtain citizenship elsewhere.
