As well as the culpable homicide charge, Ms Ramage also denies attempting to pervert the course of justice by hiding the rifle under a sofa and "culpably and recklessly" discharging the weapon towards a fence.Her defence counsel Mark Stewart KC told the hearing that he was awaiting a written report from a psychologist on her.Mr Stewart said: "The doctor has provided a verbal report that she is clearly unfit to stand trial as she suffers from PTSD and she will need long-term psychological care and treatment."The doctor expresses a degree of criticism of the lack of treatment she has received from the medical profession in the last two years."He said had it not been for her GP and family looking after her, she would have been sectioned for her own safety as she is a risk of self harm."A further hearing was fixed for September this year by judge Lord Arthurson.A trial had previously been arranged for March next year.

A man aged 31 has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two people were killed in a quadruple stabbing at a London business. The Metropolitan Police announced the charges faced by a man from Hackney, east London, who had initially been detained following Monday's attacks in Southwark. He remains in hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, Scotland Yard said today. Emergency services were called to Long Lane in Bermondsey at about 1pm on Monday following reports of multiple stabbings inside a commercial address. A 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and a 27-year-old man later died in hospital. Two other men, both in their 30s, were also taken to hospital. The stabbings are understood to have taken place near consultancy firm Prospira Global and housing provider Trademark Homes. A resident, who asked not to be named, told the PA news agency: 'It's terrifying. 'I walk past there all the time - it makes you feel really uneasy. 'You just don't expect something like this to happen on a normal weekday.' Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation. Det Chief Supt Emma Bond, who leads policing for the area, said today: 'Our thoughts are first and foremost with the family and friends of the victims of this tragic incident. 'Our investigation continues at pace and we are working hard to understand the full circumstances. 'I understand there may be concern in the local community and there will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days. I would also encourage anyone who may be worried to speak to an officer.' A crime scene remains in place and officers continue to investigate the circumstances. The stabbings are understood to have taken place near consultancy firm Prospira Global and housing provider Trademark Homes Police said they were aware of speculation the arrested man was staying at a nearby hotel but that this was not the case. Man in court after using late mum's disabled parking permit
A man appeared in court after using his late mother's disabled parking permit more than 16 months after she died. Salford City Council prosecuted Omer Ali Khan, 32, of Deerhurst Drive in Manchester, after finding the blue badge on a silver Audi. Khan, who was caught in North George Street on 13 November, was convicted of fraud by false representation and ordered to pay £512 in fines and costs at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Friday. Salford City Council's Barbara Bentham said the council was seeing through its promise to crack down on blue badge fraud. Wardens patrolling the streets noticed the badge on the dashboard of a car parked on double yellow they looked into the name on the badge, they found it was that of a woman who had died in 2023.
