Lamine Yamal insists he did NOT try to meet adult film star, 29, after she threatened to leak voice messages from the Barca teenager - just days after he was spotted with a different model 12 years older than him

Daily Mail21-06-2025

Lamine Yamal has denied he tried to meet up with an adult film star as debate emerged on who ensured a meeting between the 17-year-old and 29-year-old didn't take place.
Barcelona star Yamal has burst onto the scene in recent months due to his staggering success at both club and international level, representing Barca and Spain respectively.
In the off-season, the teenager has taken the time to enjoy some downtime - he is currently in Rio de Janeiro with 'idol' Neymar, having previously jetted off on holiday with another woman 12 years his senior.
Now, though, just days after images of Yamal and OnlyFans model Fati Vazquez emerged, he has been drawn into a debate over a meeting with Claudia Bavel that never came to fruition.
Yamal indirectly featured on Spanish TV show TardeAR, which saw producers air an off-air conversation with Yamal that saw him claim he didn't meet Bavel because he 'wasn't interested' in a discussion between the two.
Alex Alvarez, meanwhile - a reporter on the show - alleged that there had been claims that Bavel's plan was to hire a photographer and sell images of a meet up, which Yamal said would have been impossible because he lives with his mother, who does not allow unfamiliar visitors. Bavel, though, has now spoken up herself, taking to social media to give her side of the story.
The model, who was also present on TardeAR on Friday night, shared to her 259,000 followers: 'I chose not to speak publicly on this matter in 2025. However, since Lamine Yamal mentioned our alleged relationship on TardeAR, I find it appropriate to share my version with clarity and respect.
'He claims to live with his mother, but in reality lives alone. He says he rejected me, when he was the one who sought my contact and insisted on meeting. He denies we've met, despite crossing paths at several social events.
'I respectfully ask that offensive and defamatory messages stop. I have NEVER had any relationship with a minor, never arranged a meeting, and there was never any plan involving fame or money.
'The only thing we agree on is that no meeting or situation ever happened between us. Behind the headlines and public opinion, there are people. Out of respect, I ask for understanding and restraint.'
Speaking on the show later that day, she added that they didn't meet because she didn't want to meet a minor. She also claimed to have voice notes of Yamal saying they could spend time together despite the age gap.
She said she cut off contact with the star a long time ago, but alleged that she recently received a message from Yamal threatening her to not speak about their conversations.
'Ask her if you like,' Yamal had said. 'She'll probably pull out the excuse that "he's a minor", but we never met because I told her I wasn't interested.'
Bavel - who was previously involved in a row with Real Madrid and Spain legend Iker Casillas - was appearing on the show on Friday night, after the original news was reported on Thursday.
Vazquez (left) and Yamal (right) were both seen relaxing by the same pool on holiday in Italy
The new controversy comes after photos were published of Yamal on holiday with Spanish flight attendant and social media influencer Fati Vazquez, who is 29 years old. Spanish magazine Lecturas published images of the pair on a jet ski together on the island of Pantelleria in the south of Sicily.
It followed Yamal and Vazquez posting photos from the same location in recent days, with the pair enjoying a life of luxury that has included going on a boat trip, relaxing by a pool and flying in a helicopter.
Lecturas wrote that the pair 'don't want to put a name to their obvious friendship', but said they 'get along perfectly'.
'Their closeness is such that they didn't hesitate to go on vacation at a key moment,; they added. 'They wanted to get away from it all and celebrate the season's many successes.'
The report claimed there is a 'clear connection between them' and 'the age difference is not an obstacle to their understanding'.
Yamal, however, has denied that they are a couple after speaking with gossip expert Javi de Hoyos.
De Hoyos claims 'he's been able to speak to Yamal, and he categorically denies that he's with Vazquez; he says they have nothing going on.
'Lamine didn't go to this vacation spot alone, but with other Barca team-mates,' De Hoyos added.
Vazquez has also spoken out about the backlash she has received, while stating she is 29 years old, after initially being reported as 30.
The influencer said that she has received death threats following the photos of her with Yamal, while stating they are 'two people who want to have a good time'.
'I'm getting really p****d off, people are even wishing me dead because of it,' Vazquez told Spanish television show La familia de la tele.
'I'm receiving death threats and messages calling me a paedophile.
'First, I'm 29, I haven't made it to the thirties yet. I haven't done anything, haven't killed anyone. The reactions are just too heavy and it's even affecting him [Lamine].
'I don't want to say anything more or make a big deal out of it or make it morbid, because I think it's completely unnecessary.
'We're just two people who want to have a good time, and that's it.'
Vazquez shared another post on Instagram, responding to critics, of her in a swimming pool in Italy, with the caption: 'Imagine talking bad about me and I'm over here like this.'

Lionel Messi hands PSG star his whole kit and boots after Inter Miami mauling

Lionel Messi's Inter Miami team may have been hammered 4-0 by Paris Saint-Germain at the Club World Cup, but he seemed in good spirits after the game. PSG booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament thanks to a comfortable victory in Atlanta. Joao Neves scored twice and Achraf Hakimi scored after Tomas Aviles had put through his own net. It was a dominant performance from the European champions and they will now face either Bayern Munich or Flamengo in the last eight. There was no joy at all for Messi against his former club but he was happy to catch up with former teammates after the game. It was actually a teammate from Barcelona that landed a special gift from the legendary forward, as Messi handed over his whole kit, including his boots, to Ousmane Dembele. The Frenchman also posted a picture alongside Messi, which he captioned: 'Good to see you again @leomessi, the greatest of all time.. I hope you continue to make history with the @intermiamicf like in this World Club.' Dembele was obviously keen to add to his shirt collection on Sunday as he picked up a couple more former Barcelona stars as well. Not content with just Messi's, the 28-year-old also snapped up Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba's jerseys. Dembele spent six years with Barca after signing from Borussia Dortmund in 2017, although never really lived up to expectations after the Catalan giants agreed a deal for him which could have reached £135.5m. He made 185 appearances for Barcelona across all competitions, scoring 40 goals, with injuries hampering his progress during his time in Spain. Since leaving for PSG in 2023 things have gone much better for him, netting 33 goals in 49 appearances last season alone as Luis Enrique's side won Ligue 1 and the Champions League. PSG boss Enrique said after the victory on Sunday that the result did not reflect that it was a tough game for his side. 'It is difficult to play against players of this calibre, it was difficult, but I think as a team we did an excellent job,' he said. 'There's a visible difference between the first and second halves… their quality is evident, and I think we deserved the victory. More Trending 'It was harder than it may seem, after the first half.' He added: 'We are in the quarter-finals, with only eight teams remaining. Our goal is to progress as far as possible and to compete for the trophy. But for that, we need to overcome two more knock-out rounds. 'The season is very long, as it is for all teams, but the motivation to be competitive is there.' Humbling of Lionel Messi's Inter Miami exposes flaw in Gianni Infantino's plan

Gianni Infantino took centre stage from Lionel Messi and his celebrating Inter Miami team-mates last October to make the surprise announcement that he had adjusted the Club World Cup qualification to accommodate the MLS franchise in its group stage. Eight months later, Messi and his fellow Barcelona veterans in pink shirts – Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba – found themselves on the end of four first-half goals from Europe's leading team, in a last-16 Club World Cup tie that was over almost as soon as it began. Beaten 4-0, Inter Miami are out, the last MLS representatives in this home Club World Cup and however far behind Paris St-Germain they might have been in Atlanta, they have served their purpose for Infantino. The Fifa president needed the star quality of Messi given that there was an absence of some of Europe's best supported teams in the competition, including the actual Barcelona, as well as Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United. Although even Infantino would have struggled to find a reason to include the latter. A US tournament without Messi would have been a difficult sell to an American public that has shown itself occasionally indifferent to the big overseas clubs who have arrived to play in the height of summer. It was clear from Cristiano Ronaldo's remarks from Saudi Arabia that he, too, was dangled the opportunity of playing for a Club World Cup team but preferred to keep himself fresh for next summer's real World Cup. Infantino's willingness to turn it into an invitational demonstrated the requirement for big names. The problem with shoe-horning in Messi and Inter Miami, was that it was destined to show the US just how far its own club sides are behind those of Europe and South America. Asked how the gap might be closed, Miami coach Javier Mascherano, another Barcelona veteran, passed on the question. 'People involved in MLS know better than me what they have to do to progress in the league and be competitive,' he said. Miami did at least hold their own in the group stages with a win over Porto and draws with Palmeiras and Al-Ahly of Egypt. PSG are a very different prospect. Having racked up a record margin of victory for any Champions League final – or its European Cup predecessor – over Inter Milan this month, that was always going to be a risk. Mascherano called the first half 'a bloodbath'. There could have been many more in the second half, but PSG relented notably and Luis Enrique substituted some of his biggest names. Goalscorers Joao Neves and Achraf Hakimi came off as well as captain Marquinhos, midfielder Fabian Ruiz and star left-back Nuno Mendes. The pundits on DAZN, the streaming service that is providing free coverage in the US, did their best to talk up the efforts of Messi and his team-mates in the second half, but the frustration of Suarez told its own story. Infantino had used Miami's victory in the Supporters' Shield element of the MLS season to justify their inclusion – they finished top of the league table. Nevertheless, the champions of MLS are the MLS Cup winners and that was LA Galaxy, after Miami went out in the play-offs first round to Atlanta United. LA Galaxy did not compete at the Club World Cup but then neither did the champions of England, Spain or Italy. The mistakes from Miami that helped PSG race into a commanding lead in Atlanta showed that many MLS sides have to balance the European or South American stars in their sides with relative inexperience elsewhere. Poker-faced as ever, Messi did what he could. He had a promising free-kick towards the end of the game but after much dramatic anticipation it was struck into the defensive wall. He had a header saved in the second half and there was a fine flick into the path of Suarez which the latter mis-controlled. Messi will have to wait longer for his rest. Miami are scheduled to be in Canada on Saturday for a game against strugglers Montreal. His club are sixth in the MLS Eastern Conference but have now played as many as four fewer games as some sides in the division. As things stand the Miami regular season does not conclude until October 18. Come next summer, back in the US, Messi will lead Argentina in their defence of the World Cup – a competition which will figure much larger in his mind than the one from which he and his Miami team-mates have just been eliminated.
