SSC August Exam Calendar 2025: Exam dates for Steno Grade C & D & CHT Paper 1 out at ssc.gov.in
As per the exam calendar, Stenographer Grade 'C' & 'D' Examination, 2025 (CBE) will be held on August 6, 7 and 8, 2025 and Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2025 (Paper-I) will be held on August 12, 2025.
The Stenographer exam will comprise 200-mark questions and last 2 hours. The question paper will be an objective-type multiple-choice only. The questions will be set in English and Hindi. In the computer-based examination, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
SSC CHT Paper 1 exam will comprise of questions from General Hindi and General English. The exam duration is 2 hours. Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Multiple choice questions only. Based on the marks scored in the Paper-I; i.e., Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II (Descriptive Paper). There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.'

Sathya Sai Collector launches I to V grades of Kendriya Vidyalaya on NACIN campus
District Collector T.S. Chetan on Monday inaugurated 'standard I to V' classes at the newly established Kendriya Vidyalaya on the campus of NACIN (National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics) near Palasamudram in Sri Sathya Sai district. 'Holistic development of students is possible only by imparting quality education,' the Collector said. CBSE begins preparing students for board exams
Advt Advt Schools have begun to orient students for next year's board exams on the basis of sample papers and marking schemes which has been recently released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the academic session 2025–26. According to the official CBSE circular, there has been no change in the exam pattern or marking scheme from the previous academic year (2024–25).This year, the CBSE released the sample papers earlier than usual, providing students more time to familiarise themselves with the structure of the upcoming exams. Alongside the sample papers, the marking schemes were also made available on the board's official website: Shekhar, academic coordinator at Oxford Public School, said, "These resources aim not only to aid exam preparation but also to strengthen classroom learning and conceptual understanding. CBSE has encouraged schools to integrate the sample papers into regular teaching practices."According to the circular, the sample papers cover all subjects, with most provided in both English and Hindi (excluding language-specific papers). The board examinations for both classes will be conducted in Feb 2026, with general instructions, section-wise distribution, and maximum marks clearly defined in the sample documents."CBSE's sample papers guide students preparing for competitive exams. It fully incorporates NCERT content. Students should start early and understand these papers thoroughly to perform better in boards," said Jaya Chauhan, Principal of Delhi Public important change highlighted in CBSE's new approach is the decision to conduct Class X board examinations twice a year starting 2026. It's like a roadmap that guides our preparation and boosts our confidence for the board exams."
