Shane Gillis' Longtime Girlfriend Turns Heads At The ESPYs
Stand-up comedian Shane Gillis hosted the 2025 ESPY Awards on Wednesday night, while his girlfriend Grace Brassel turned heads in a stunning dress.
Gillis, a former "Saturday Night Live" member, didn't hold back during his opening monologue. He cracked jokes about Caitlin Clark, Megan Rapinoe, President Donald Trump, Juan Soto and plenty of others. The most ruthless joke was about Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson.
"Shohei is a once-in-a-generation talent. No one has been able to do what he does at so many positions: pitcher, hitter and bookie," Gillis said. "A bookie is what Bill Belichick reads to his girlfriend before bedtime. They do. They read 'The Very Horny Caterpillar,' 'The Little Engine That Could But Needed a Pill First,' and, of course, the classic 'Goodnight Boobs.' First off, he's 73 years old and he's dating a hot 24-year-old and people are criticizing him. What happened to this country?"
Prior to unleashing this monologue, Gillis walked the red carpet with his girlfriend.
Brassel, who graduated from the University of Delaware, was first linked to Gillis in July 2024. They were spotted at Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo's wedding.
Considering they attended the ESPYS together, it's fair to say Brassel and Gillis are still going strong.
On Wednesday night, Brassel wore a leopard-print dress that left plenty of people speechless.
Back in December, Brassel praised Gillis and called him the "best comedian in the whole wide world." Judging by some of the reactions to his ESPYS monologue, there are a lot of people who would agree with that statement.

While streaming on Twitch, Minnesota Lynx guard Courtney Williams tried to get into a nightclub, but the bouncer wouldn't let her cut the line. While covering the Dallas Cowboys this morning, First Take host Molly Qerim shared a clip from practice of Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens receiving a deep bomb from quarterback Dak Prescott in training camp camp. There's only one problem. Actually, there are at least several problems. That clip is of Brandin Cooks, not George Pickens. The Cowboys have not had a practice yet. The clip is from two years ago. First Take were the victims of a troll job from Cowboys fan @FergSZN, who decided to troll some of his own fans by calling it a bomb from Dak to Pickens. "First play of Cowboys Training Camp is a Dak Prescott BOMB to George Pickens," they wrote on X yesterday morning. As much as people wanted to criticize the X user for tricking them, many more got on ESPN's case for not doing their research: "A joke of a network. Lazy producers didn't even check to see who took the video and when and Molly doesn't have any sense to realize it's wrong as she reads it," one user wrote on X. "Congrats to @espn for airing old video from a random Twitter account and calling it the first day of Training Camp. Beyond lazy," wrote another.
