Embracing Criticism and Growing Through Experience
In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Shanaya reflected on her experiences so far, acknowledging the criticism she has encountered but emphasizing how she has embraced it constructively. She shared that her journey has been a great learning experience, saying, "Whatever the fame or the pressure, with fame comes comments and criticism. I've taken it in a positive way, as feedback and learnt from it, grown from it.
" The actress also credited her upbringing for her confidence, explaining that her parents raised her in a way that she wouldn't change, adding, "I am who I am today because of my parents. They've brought me up in a certain way. Yes, my environment has been this, but I don't think I want it any other way because I'm confident today of who I am."
Reflecting on Her Unique Journey
The actress described the past few years as a unique journey.
She reflected, "I think that comes with probably things I've gone through in the span of getting here today. It has been a journey of its own to be here today." She believes that everything happens for a reason and unfolds as it should for something great to emerge. Shanaya added, "I'm happy, I'm keeping my fingers crossed."

Shanaya also shared that she feels content with how things have progressed and is glad she waited a few years before stepping into films.
