Peter Andre hits back over 'drama with exes' after Katie Price attacks wife

Daily Mirror6 days ago

Peter Andre has hit out at having 'drama with exes' and how you should deal with it, days after ex Katie Price made a dig about his wife of ten years, Emily MacDonagh.
Peter Andre has detailed how to deal with 'drama with exes' in his weekly New! Magazine column, just days after his ex Katie Price hit out at his wife Emily MacDonagh.
While reminiscing about their marriage last week, Katie revealed that her and Peter's kids – particularly daughter Princess – can't comprehend that they were once a couple because she and Emily are 'just so different'.

'I said to her, 'I was with your dad for six years – trust me, we had a laugh, banter together. We did,' Katie told comedian Katherine Ryan on her podcast, adding, 'She can't believe that whenever he went everywhere or me, we were together with the kids – we'd go as a family. She's like, 'Emily doesn't do all that,' for Pete.'

While Peter and Emily have remained tight-lipped on the comments made by Katie, he did speak out about Sam Thompson's run-in with his ex Zara McDermott's new boyfriend Louis Tomlinson, giving his advice on exes.
He wrote in his column: " Sam Thompson and Louis Tomlinson were both at Soccer Aid together for an incredible cause. The fact they've both been involved with Zara McDermott at some point is secondary for me.
"I think people will always try to make a fuss about dramas with exes, but we don't know what happened, and having been part of Soccer Aid in the past, I know people just focus on the game and the cause, everything else is left off the pitch. That's how it should be."
Peter and Katie met in 2004 on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, marrying the following year before splitting in 2009.

Her remarks about Emily led to a stream of comments on social media, saying that she is envious of Peter's new life, with one listener noting, 'Price is just jealous because Pete and Emily are happy and love their family. She has never let it go and moved on.' Someone else told her to 'get a grip and leave them alone'.
Others were more sympathetic, however, with one commenting, 'The one who got away. Quite possibly the love of her life.'
Amid the backlash, a source told us that Pete isn't happy about being dragged into what he considers to be 'ancient history' and is desperate for it to stop. 'Peter moved on a long time ago and is fed up of her talking about him because it was such a long time ago that they split,' said the source.
'It has a knock-on effect on his family, especially Emily. He knew their marriage was over when they split up 16 years ago and he just wants her to leave it in the past too. He's very happy with his life.'

Matty Healy predictably appears to take a swipe at ex Taylor Swift

Is Matty Healy 'obsessed' with Taylor Swift? That's the consensus, according to those who are convinced he took jabs at his ex-girlfriend during his Glastonbury set last night. Matty, 36, headlined Friday night at this year's Glastonbury Festival alongside his The 1975 bandmates. It was a surprisingly tame set by Matty's standards as he opted to be less political and certainly much less problematic than he has been in past performances. However, eagle-eyed fans couldn't help but spot a couple of references they believe to be attributed to his ex Taylor, who he dated for several months in 2023 before they swiftly split. For their Pyramid Stage set, Matty wore a black leather jacket with several pins, one of which was a figure of Peter Pan. Matty is known to be a fan of the fictional character, but Taylor, 35, also has a song called Peter, which features on her 2024 album The Tortured Poet's Department album. Speaking of, Matty is widely speculated to have made a quip about the singer's best-selling album while addressing his Glasto crowd. 'I want to be sincere for a second with everybody,' the Chocolate singer began. 'What this moment is making me realise is that I probably am the best. I'm probably the best songwriter of my generation. The best, what do we say… A poet, ladies and gentlemen, is what I am.' Fans have put the pieces of the puzzle together and believe Matty is still hung up on his ex in some form. @anonatrisk claimed on X: 'Trump, Elon, Kanye and Matty Healy.. Worst man you can think of, all obsessed with Taylor Swift.' @cowboybobsrodeo suggested: 'For a man who implied taylor swift is too obsessed with her lore as an artist matty healy sure loves to reference her intentionally to stir the pot.' Like who is this for what's the point of continuing to long out this situation when he's literally engaged,' @vngofmyheart wondered. @jenessa2710 also wrote: 'Matty shes moved on from you lol take the hint travis is much better than you.' Others noted that Matty is believed to be engaged to Gabbriette Betchel, who he started seeing in September 2023, while Taylor is famously in a relationship with NFL superstar Travis Kelce. Taylor and Matty were first rumoured to be dating two months after her split from British actor Joe Alwyn in February 2023. By May, it was widely speculated that the musicians were an item after Matty had been spotted at several dates on her Eras Tour. However, TMZ reported that they had split with a source saying the popstar was 'single' again. Matty has previously said he doesn't use past relationships as inspiration for his music. Speaking on Joshua Citarella's Doomscroll podcast, he explained: 'Last year I became a way more well-known public figure for loads of different reasons. More Trending 'I think that a lot of artists, they become very interested in their lore, or they become interested in the things that have happened outside of their art that people know about, and they want to address that, and [that's] fair enough.' He continued: 'Maybe on my first record, when it was very much a series of journal entries, like little bits of heartache, I used to write about relationships a lot more and stuff like that. 'But honestly, I would kind of just be lying if I made a record about, I don't know, all the stuff that was said about me or my casual romantic liaisons or whatever it may be, that I've kind of become known for just because I was famous. 'I think that's an obvious thing to draw from, and I'm just not interested in it. And I think the maintenance of the status quo is something that I always fight against.' Got a story? Kerry Katona's daughter defends her mum's decision to join racy site

Kerry Katona's daughter , Heidi Croft, 18, has spoken for the first time to defend her mother Kerry from the 'hate' she receives due to being on racy site - OnlyFans Kerry Katona's daughter, Heidi, is speaking out against trolls who have labelled her mother a "prostitute" and "trollop". The Atomic Kitten singer's tumultuous life has been widely reported over the years, from her relationships to an abusive partner and financial difficulties that led to her being declared bankrupt twice. Despite her mother's success on OnlyFans, 18 year old Heidi is adamant: "I couldn't do OnlyFans. Mum has said I can't do it either. It is not the route in life I want to take, I want to be a lawyer or a property developer." ‌ "Mum sometimes struggles with men seeing her in that sexual way. I wouldn't like that at all. I've not paid to see her pictures on there, that would be weird, but I know what she does." ‌ In her first interview, the teenager asserts: "They should realise Kerry Katona is now rolling in it - she drives a Lamborghini. I couldn't be prouder of her. She has worked so hard. People forget OnlyFans is just a new thing; she has been singing, doing reality work and TV appearances for nearly 25 years. She has never stopped. She put us through private school, we go on amazing holidays, she just bought me clothes for the weekend." OnlyFans has also contributed to the purchase of a five-bedroom detached house in Cheshire. Kerry's upbringing in nearby Warrington was far less luxurious. The 44 year old, who grew up in foster care, resorted to topless modelling and lap dancing to make ends meet before landing her big break in music. She has starred in her own reality shows, won I'm A Celeb, and appeared on Big Brother and Dancing On Ice. In April, a fter making millions on adult subscription site OnlyFans, Kerry says her work on the X-rated platform is a non-negotiable when it comes to romantic relationships. The mum-of-five has been making money on OnlyFans since 2020 and charges $24.99 a month for fans to subscribe to her platform. At the time, following the news that boxer Nicola Adams' split from her partner Ella Baig was impacted by the latter's career on OnlyFans, Kerry explained whether the career path has ever caused her issues in relationships, and how she will handle it with any future partners. ‌ Kerry, who split from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney in November last year, wrote in her New! Magazine column: "I was sad to hear about Nicola Adams splitting up with her partner Ella Baig - I hope they're both doing OK. I read that Nicola said Ella's OnlyFans career impacted their relationship, which is a shame. "I can't relate too much because while I do OnlyFans, it didn't negatively impact my relationship when I was with Ryan, it's just a job and we both knew that. " Continuing that it won't be something that's up for discussion with future partners, Kerry shared: "I've not been in a relationship since then so I don't know the potential problems it can cause, but if I do meet someone new, it is something they're going to need to accept. It's what I do and how I make money for my kids, so they'd need to understand that." ‌ Kerry has spoken openly about the positives she has gained from her work on the site, previously detailing how it pulled her from near-bankruptcy to thriving financially. Detailing how the platform changed her life, , Kerry explained to The Sun in 2021: "It's been amazing for my career, I haven't stopped working. When I first did it I said to the kids 'I'm going to do this, and I'm going to go topless - if anyone has any problems, let me know' The former Atomic Kitten singer continued: "Our Lilly said she wasn't happy about it, and I said 'wait until the money comes in and see how you feel about it then.' "And once the money did start coming in they all had an iPad each and they had no problems! I've bought myself a Lamborghini Urus too, which comes in March."
