Massive march in capital Sana'a under title "With Gaza... Confronting genocide & starvation crime"

Saba Yemen16-05-2025
Sana'a - Saba:
The capital Sana'a witnessed on Thursday a massive popular march in support of Gaza and solidarity with the Palestinian people under the slogan "With Gaza... Confronting genocide & starvation Crime ."
The gathered crowds celebrated the strikes carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces deep in the heart of the Zionist enemy entity in the occupied territories, the latest being the targeting of Lod Airport (Ben Gurion).
They affirmed the continuation of mobilization and readiness to confront the Zionist enemy... renewing their full mandate to the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and their high preparedness to execute all options and engage in "the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad."
The crowds chanted slogans:
- "Our stance is firm and rooted... our patience is with Allah, long and enduring."
- "We will continue, we will respond... in Jaffa and Lod Airport."
- "Despite all odds... the stolen right will return."
- "A cry against normalization... we will not accept the war of starvation."
- "In Gaza, there are men of God... a miracle of steadfastness."
- "A million salutes to Gaza... to its brigades and Al-Qassam."
- "Israel, death, death... make them hear it loud and clear."
- "The Yemeni people and their leader... stand with Gaza as one body."
The masses also raised slogans of victory, jihad, and alertness, expressing their unwavering support for Gaza and the Palestinian people, declaring that they will never stand alone no matter how much the normalizers betray.
They emphasized the Yemeni people's continued commitment to million-man marches in jihad for the sake of Allah, seeking His pleasure without fatigue or boredom, in support and solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The million-strong crowds renewed their call to Arab and Islamic nations to fulfill their responsibilities toward the genocide, siege, and starvation crimes committed against their brothers in Gaza, urging economic boycotts against the enemies.
Speech by African Communities in Yemen
During the march, a speech was delivered on behalf of African communities in Yemen, condemning the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people. It called for unified solidarity and mobilization in the fields of dignity and honor to support this global cause and defend the oppressed who are being exterminated, starved, and displaced daily while the world remains silent.
The speech expressed the pride of African communities in standing shoulder to shoulder with the Yemeni people in jihad for the sake of Allah, supporting the oppressed. It urged the nation's people to rally around the leader of the Quranic march, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, as a religious and Islamic duty.
Statement from the Million-Man March
A statement issued by the march affirmed the continuation of weekly million-man marches without fatigue or hesitation, in support of the oppressed Muslim Palestinian people, as a jihad for the sake of Allah and seeking His pleasure, maintaining a just and honorable stance.
Addressing the Palestinian people, especially the people of Gaza, on the anniversary of the Great Nakba, the statement said:
"Through your jihad for the sake of Allah, your patience, and unparalleled steadfastness, you prevent the repetition of the Nakba. With these immortal stances, you stand as a stumbling block before the Zionist enemy, protecting the Arab and Islamic nations from further tragedies. We stand with you, and by our reliance on Allah and our jihad in His path, the Nakba will not be repeated—God willing. Instead, Allah's inevitable promise of the demise of the oppressive entity and the triumph of His religion will be fulfilled, even if the disbelievers despise it."
The statement added:
"We take pride in returning the greetings and pledges of loyalty to our brothers in Al-Quds Brigades and all the noble mujahideen who honored us and our leader in their latest missile operation against the Zionist entity, specifically addressing the million-man crowds in Sab'een Square and other arenas. We say to you: Your message is the most precious thing we receive in this sacred battle. We pledge to remain by your side, faithful to the path of jihad and obedience to Allah, no matter the challenges, relying on Him and trusting in His victory—for the end belongs to the righteous."
The statement noted that while the Zionist enemy escalates its crimes in Gaza—killing, besieging, and starving—the criminal disbeliever Trump, the primary partner of Zionism in these crimes, was arrogantly touring some Gulf capitals, amassing unprecedented amounts of wealth from Arab and Muslim nations to fund the war criminals of the enemy entity in their genocide against the Palestinian people and the killing of Arabs and Muslims. Shockingly, in some capitals, Arab girls were presented to dance shamefully before him with uncovered heads—a scene reflecting horrific detachment from Islam, the teachings of the Quran, wounding living hearts, and provoking Arab dignity.
Yet, the statement highlighted that hope and pride come from the missiles that flew during the criminal Trump's speech, passing over his head into the depths of the enemy entity, proving that Islam remains mighty by Allah's might, and that what happens does not represent Islam nor is accepted by people of faith and wisdom—"Honor belongs to Allah, His Messenger, and the believers."
The statement reminded the Arab and Islamic nations of their religious, humanitarian, moral, and fraternal responsibilities, which do not fade with time but grow greater in the face of the tragedies in Gaza. It called for real action and the mobilization of all energies to defend their brothers and their sanctities in Palestine.
It stressed that the economic boycott of the enemies is among the least demanding yet most impactful responsibilities—one that no Muslim is exempt from—alongside organizing protests and demonstrations.
The statement also called on scholars, thought leaders, intellectuals, and political elites to raise awareness within the nation about the necessity of a sincere return to the Quran, adherence to it, and the importance of upholding responsibility and jihad for the sake of Allah against the enemies of God and humanity—"for that is the only true path to protect the nation, its honor, dignity, religion, and land—anything else is disgrace and betrayal."

National Interest : Houthi Threat to Red Sea Will Persist Without Consequences

Aden — In a sharply worded analysis, The National Interest magazine cautioned that Yemen's Houthi militia will continue to endanger international shipping in the Red Sea unless it faces tangible repercussions for its escalating attacks. The article, co-authored by researchers Mark Dubowitz and Kobi Gottlieb, argues that diplomatic efforts led by the United States and Saudi Arabia have failed to deter the Iran-backed group. Instead, the Houthis have exploited ceasefires to rearm and intensify their operations, including ballistic missile launches on Israeli targets and dozens of assaults on commercial vessels since October 2023. Global Maritime Security at Risk - Houthis' actions have disrupted global supply chains, threatening one of the world's most vital maritime corridors. - The threat, the authors stress, extends beyond Israel and now jeopardizes international trade and civilian safety across the region. Call for a Harder Line The report urges the U.S. administration to abandon its 'de-escalation at any cost' approach and instead adopt: - Stricter sanctions - Heightened diplomatic pressure - Potential military intervention, if necessary The authors emphasize that 'ceasefires must be earned, not given', warning that agreements with terrorist-designated groups are unreliable without credible deterrence mechanisms. As tensions mount in the Red Sea, the article reflects growing international concern over the Houthis' role as a strategic proxy for Iran, and the urgent need for a decisive response to safeguard maritime stability.
