Suki Waterhouse is on the mend after a fashion mishap.
The Daisy Jones & The Six star shared she's been MIA from social media due a hernia—a gap in the muscular wall that's commonly found in the abdomen or groin area—which she got from wearing tight pants.
"'Suki you never tweet anymore,'" she wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) July 14. "Have you ever considered I wore pants so tight 6 months ago it caused a hernia & I've been too scared to tell you?"
In another post, the 33-year-old shared a selfie taken from what appears to be a hospital bed, as well as an image of herself performing on the supporting tour for her Memoir of a Sparklemuffin album. The concert photo showed Suki wearing figure-hugging black leather pants, which she paired with a white crop top and matching bedazzled coat.
Suki is due back on stage Aug. 7, when her tour hits Aspen, Colo.
News of Suki's hospitalization come more than a year after the actress gave birth to her first baby with fiancé Robert Pattinson. While the couple—who have been dating since 2018—have not revealed the name of their daughter, Suki said their little one is already hitting some pretty major milestones.

"I'm just absolutely obsessed with her," she told E! News in September. "She's turning over, sitting up, trying to crawl, doing all the things."
However, Suki noted at the time that her baby girl has yet to check out Robert's movies, quipping, "That's a long way in the future."
As for the Twilight alum? He has also been relishing in parenthood, realizing that the lore behind babies having a distinctly pleasant scent is not a myth.
'I thought they were just smelling the baby powder," Robert told Vogue in January. "But then I had a baby, and I was like: 'My baby smells incredible."
The 39-year-old added, "There's something there, I can identify her. She doesn't smell like other babies."

WEAPONS Director Teases Secret Cast and Wild Twists - 'I Probably Shouldn't Even Say That' — GeekTyrant

Zach Cregger knows how to pull the rug out from under audiences. After Barbarian blindsided viewers with its unpredictable structure and grotesque surprises, Cregger's next horror outing, Weapons , is shaping up to be ambitious, and even more secretive. In a recent interview with SFX Magazine, the director teased what's coming in his next film, saying: 'I've got to be so careful about spoilers, but here's what I will say. This movie has more twists and turns than Barbarian, but what it doesn't do, very intentionally, is I never abandon the audience.' The marketing for Weapons , from its ominous teaser to the unsettling posters, has been intentionally cryptic. The story revolves around a small town where all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, leaving the town rattled and reaching for answers. But if you think the mystery ends there, think again. According to Cregger, what we've seen so far barely scratches the surface. 'There's a couple of names that aren't in the cast announcement, and there's a couple of [actors] that I think people have not realised what a big deal their characters will be. 'That's great, and I probably shouldn't even say that, but there are some actors that... it's amazing what they do… There are seven main characters in this movie and the trailer, we're leaning into two of those. But there are truly seven main characters.' Well, that's interesting! I also love the fact that what we've seen from the trailers gives us the bare minimum of what this movie entails, and I can't wait to see how this dark horror story unfolds. The announced cast already includes heavy hitters like Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, and Alden Ehrenreich, alongside Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan. But, Cregger is intentionally hiding sonme other major players. And just like with Barbarian, the trailer might be a masterclass in misdirection. Cregger explains: 'The engine of the children leaving is the engine of the whole movie, but the mystery is not the engine of the whole movie.' So there's a much larger narrative hiding beneath the surface. This movie is going to get really interesting! Weapons opens in theaters on August 8th, and if Cregger's words are any indication, this one's going to be a wild, secret-packed ride.

Legendary's STREET FIGHTER Movie Casts Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim — GeekTyrant

Legendary's live-action Street Fighter movie has added some serious martial arts credibility with the casting of Indian action star Vidyut Jammwal ( Commando ) as Dhalsim, according to Deadline. This marks Jammwal's Hollywood debut, and sources say he's been extremely selective about the project that would introduce him to U.S. audiences. Known for his intense action work and jaw-dropping fight choreography in India, the actor brings an authentic physicality to the role of Dhalsim, a fan-favorite character first introduced in Street Fighter II in 1991. Dhalsim is a yogi with the ability to breathe fire, a fundamentally peaceful man who fights only to support his family. Jammwal is already a massive star in India, with over 22 million followers on social media and a résumé that includes blockbuster franchises like Commando and Khuda Haafiz . While he's hugely popular internationally, this is his first step into the Hollywood spotlight. As previously revealed, the movie's ensemble is packed with talent, including: Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson as Balrog, Orville Peck as Vega, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Roman Reigns as Akuma, and Hirooki Goto as E. Honda The film is directed by Kitao Sakurai (Bad Trip), with plot details still under wraps. Since its debut in 1987, Street Fighter has been a cultural phenomenon, selling over 55 million copies worldwide and standing as one of the most iconic fighting game franchises ever created. Legendary seems to be going all-in on bringing the colorful, diverse cast of fighters to life, and with Jammwal stepping in as Dhalsim, fans can expect some incredible on-screen combat. What do you think of this casting choice? Does Jammwal fit the role of Dhalsim?

'Donkey Kong Bananza' Gives Our Favorite Ape His Big Moment

In 1981's Donkey Kong, the "jumpman" characters chased a humongous gorilla through a construction site to rescue a damsel in distress. The video game is now best remembered as the introduction of jumping and the introduction of a lovable plumber named Mario, who would go on to make billions of dollars in the Super Mario Bros franchise. Despite Donkey Kong being a popular playable character in games like Mario Party, Super Smash Bros., and Mario Kart, the villain-turned-goofy ape has arguably never quite gotten his own time to shine. The new, explosively popular Nintendo Switch 2 is changing that: DK is the headliner of Donkey Kong Bananza, which goes on sale July 17 and is only available on the Switch 2. (You can pre-order it now at Best Buy.) CNET's Scott Stein says Bananza is the Switch 2's "new must-get game" – "full of its own styles and surprises that are utterly fresh." Explore an enormous world fueled by the Switch 2's graphics Donkey Kong can run, jump, and climb through a world of vibrant colors and creatures that are impressively realized in 4K on the Nintendo Switch 2. The character himself gets an upgrade with expressive eyes and textured hair. And he'll sound familiar to anyone who watched The Super Mario Bros. Movie, as he's once again voiced by Seth Rogen. Yeah, there are even 2D side-scrolling throwback moments too. Nintendo Since Banaza was made by the minds behind Super Mario Odyssey, an immensely enjoyable Mario title that revealed we were all hungry to see a T-Rex with a mustache and a tiny red cap, exploring the map is vital to the gameplay. You can wander endlessly through levels, collecting Banandium gems and competing in ancient ruin challenges. (If you haven't noticed, there are a lot of banana references in this game). For gamers overwhelmed by too many options and not enough directions, maps and arrows can guide you and bypass some of the wanderlust. Donkey Kong likes punching, and so do we Of course, this wouldn't be a Donkey Kong game without showcasing his mighty fists. Donkey Kong can punch in any direction and destroy almost anything, unearthing treasures and paths hidden under the surface of walls and the ground. Make no mistake: this is where the fun is. It's like a classic Nintendo brawling game. Or a room that you have the green light to demolish before renovating. Best Buy The punching isn't just pure chaos. Donkey Kong can dig tunnels to get somewhere or find hidden bananas, which means hours of gameplay for the obsessive completists among us. You also often have to use debris to solve a puzzle, throw at a bad guy, or as a tool to get through the level. It's a high level of game design that uses "voxels" – which are kind of like big pixels, so that the scattering of debris feels real in Donkey Kong's world. Play as a damsel no longer in distress Pauline, the original damsel in distress in the 1981 game, returned in Odyssey as the mayor of New Donk City. In Bananza, she's in her teens and sits on Donkey Kong's shoulder as his sidekick. (Apologies to the much-maligned character Diddy Kong, you were a real one.) Pauline is a singer whose melodious voice can transform Donkey Kong into a more powerful ape. Read: he can now punch through more things. He can also transform into a muscular speedy zebra or a beefy flying ostrich. Best Buy The game also features a nifty two-player co-op mode, so a friend can use the Switch 2 Joy-Con's mouse-like pointer feature to control Pauline. She shoots words at enemies (yes, actual words like Wow! Yeah! Ha!). The targeting is reminiscent of classic shooters like GoldenEye, a fun bonus for a Donkey Kong game. But it also underscores how Donkey Kong lives in a world with real people – and gives Bananza a surprisingly human touch. Pre-order Donkey Kong Bananza now at Best Buy Donkey Kong Bananza retails for $70 and releases on July 17. Preorder it today at Best Buy and get ready to throw some punches.
