Cambridge language school 'deeply saddened' after student death
A language school said it was "deeply saddened" after a student died after being were called to Mill Park, Cambridge, at 23:27 BST on Friday, where they found the 20-year-old man. He was pronounced dead just after men have been arrested in connection with his death and remain in International Language Campuses Cambridge, a private school that teaches English to overseas students, said it was working with police who are investigating the incident. A 21-year-old man from Cambridge was arrested on suspicion of murder and a 50-year-old man, also from the city, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. In a statement, EF International Language Campuses Cambridge said: "We are deeply saddened to confirm that one of our adult students was fatally injured on Friday night in a public space."At this time, we understand the attack was carried out by a member of the public in an isolated incident."The safety and wellbeing of our students is our top priority."We are providing support to all students and staff affected by this tragic event and have organised counselling sessions." Three teens arrested at UK airport after boy, 19, stabbed to death in Powerleague football car park in ‘targeted' attack
THREE teenagers have been arrested at a UK airport in connection with the death of a 19-year-old youth in a Powerleague football car park. All three have been detained on suspicion of murder in what is being considered a "targeted" attack and are currently in custody. The male victim was attacked shortly before 9pm on Friday in a car park on Market Street. He sustained numerous stab wounds and died later from his injuries. All three of the arrested suspects are male and aged 19 with the latest being arrested at Manchester Airport at 4.30am this morning. The other two arrests took place in Bury and Bolton last night.

Student road safety event in Devon offers 'vital knowledge'
College students and future drivers have taken part in a road safety event run by and Cornwall Police said inexperienced drivers were offered "vital knowledge and skills" to keep them safe on the said Year 12 students from South Dartmoor Community College took part in the multi-agency session, which included water safety, speed awareness and drink-driving Ryan Cook, neighbourhood team leader for the local area, said: "The aim is to build relationships with our newer road users and empower them to feel comfortable and understand risky activities prior to driving." He added: "Even if they are not the driver of the car, they will be able to make informed decisions whether or not to get into a vehicle."Police said students were asked to carry out tasks "while wearing so-called beer goggles". The special headsets "give an idea of how dangerous it is to walk, drive or carry out basic reaction tests if you are not sober", said the force.
