NFL legend Brandon Jacobs is videotaped training with his son Brayden, a freshman offensive lineman at Clemson
On July 2, Jon Blau, Clemson Athletics Reporter at The Post and Courier, shared
NFL
legend Brandon Jacobs' workout video. Blau captioned it: 'A reminder that Brandon Jacobs was a bruising 6-foot-4, 264-pound running back in the NFL.
Reminder necessary because his son, Clemson freshman Brayden, makes him look like Darren Sproles.
' Darren Sproles is a 5-foot-6 former running back for the Philadelphia Eagles. Jacobs' son Brayden not only made him look like Sproles but also made him wait for his turn. The NFL legend was doing an advanced level of rope sit-ups, and his son was probably tired of being the rope! Why? Because he held that rope underneath his feet! Still can't picture it? Check out this video:
Fans reacted to
New York Giants
former running back Brandon Jacobs' workout with his son, Brayden
One fan wrote, 'Remind me, is his son an RB too?' - hinting at another legend in the making.
While another fan commented, 'OMG what does his mother look like?' - wondering if Brandon Jacobs is 6-foot-4 and he looked like Darren Sproles before his son, Brayden, then his mother? She could or would be tall too. Another fan chimed in, 'Moms gotta be a WNBA player.'
A third fan pictured Brayden Jacobs walking down his father's footsteps by playing for the New York Giants, 'Future LT or RT for the @Giants.' A fourth fan called him a computer-generated imagery - 'He looks like CGI.' A concerned fan enquired, 'What on earth did you feed that boy growing up?'
A fan hunted down Brayden's profile from the Clemson Tigers' official website and wrote, '6'7'.

320.' In January 2024, Ezekiel Trezevant IV of Sports Illustrated reported that Brayden Jacobs had committed to Clemson University. He would play college football as an offensive lineman.
One fan watched the father-son workout video and took it at face value, leaving a hilarious comment: 'His son looks like he was dragged into playing football instead of staying home and gaming.' But that couldn't be the case. On July 2, Stephen Douglas of Sports Illustrated reported that Brayden will be a freshman offensive lineman at Clemson this fall.
What is Brandon Jacobs doing now?
In June 2021, the 2-time Super Bowl Champion, Brandon Jacobs, shared with Dan Benton of USA Sports, 'I'm currently coaching high school football and running a youth program, which I'm perfectly content with doing the rest of my life.'
And as the viral father-son workout video suggests, Jacobs is also coaching his son, Brayden. Not just coaching, but also staying fit himself.

'He has only himself to blame': Rishabh Pant's reckless shot sparks debate
Rishabh Pant (Getty Images) NEW DELHI: India's Rishabh Pant suffered a foot fracture during the ongoing Manchester Test against England after attempting a reverse sweep on Day 1. The injury occurred when he was on 37, as Chris Woakes delivered a yorker that struck Pant's right toe, reportedly causing the fracture. Despite the setback, Pant resumed his innings on Day 2 and battled through the pain to notch up a gritty half-century before falling to Jofra Archer . His injury has now cast doubt over his availability for India's second innings and reignited conversations around the use of injury substitutes in Test cricket. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! Former England captain Geoffrey Boycott, speaking on The Telegraph Podcast, criticised Pant's shot selection and said the injury was avoidable. 'It is always sad when a player gets hurt and affects his ability to play a part in the game—especially someone as talented as him. But he has only himself to blame,' Boycott said. Poll Do you think Rishabh Pant's injury could impact India's performance in the match? Yes, significantly Yes, but not too much No, it won't affect the team Not sure 'They were nicely in control, batting orthodox—there was no need to try something outrageous. Rishabh tries amazing strokes. When they come off, people are astonished and cheer him, and that is the essence of his batting. Speaking to TalkSport Cricket, former England batter David Lloyd offered his take: 'I'm probably against runners, but I'm in favour of substitutes for external injuries. It does open a can of worms, but if it's a break and medically he's out for six weeks, then maybe a like-for-like replacement is worth considering. IND vs ENG Test: 'Where's he been?' – Nasser Hussain slams India's tactics over delayed Washington Sundar spell
Washington Sundar of India reacts during Day Three of the 4th Test. (Getty Images) Former England captain Nasser Hussain has sharply criticised India's tactical decisions on Day 3 of the fourth Test at Old Trafford, particularly Shubman Gill 's delay in bringing Washington Sundar into the attack. India introduced Sundar only in the 69th over, with England cruising at 305/2. Despite a wicketless first session, Sundar struck quickly after lunch, removing Ollie Pope for 71 and then Harry Brook for 3, offering India a glimpse of fightback on a day otherwise dominated by the hosts. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! In his column for the Daily Mail, Hussain expressed disbelief at the delay: 'It was astonishing. You could tell he was full of confidence by the way he spoke so boldly about winning at Lord's, after taking four wickets, and I haven't seen a spin bowler in England get such beautiful drift, even against the wind.' Poll Should Washington Sundar have been introduced earlier in the attack? Yes, definitely! No, the timing was fine. Hussain referenced Sundar's 4/22 in the second innings at Lord's, and stressed that he should have been used far earlier: 'They completely overlooked bowling Washington Sundar… not turning to him until the 69th over when England were 305 for two. He made an impact the moment he was introduced… leaving you wondering: where's he been?' Hussain also questioned India's bowling approach to Joe Root, who scored a majestic 150 to help England reach 544/7 at stumps, with a commanding 186-run lead. On the quickest, bounciest pitch in the country historically, he received just two bouncers up until lunch on day three.' He noted that Root now intercepts the ball 27 centimetres closer to the bowler than he did in 2018, and India should have targeted him with short balls, forcing him on the back foot. With Root now second on the all-time Test run-scorers list, behind only Sachin Tendulkar , and England firmly in control, India's decisions — particularly Gill's Sundar snub — are coming under increasing scrutiny.
