Mr. Nandakumar encouraged attendees to prioritise 'people and purpose' in their endeavours. He emphasised the importance of resilience, vision, and leadership in overcoming challenges, stating, 'You have to work within constraints and still not lose purpose.'
Dr. Ajayan K.R., Principal of the college, presented the annual report, highlighting advancements in research and innovation.
The event celebrated the institution's 43-year legacy of excellence since its establishment in 1982.
A key highlight of the event was the award ceremony, where 122 students were recognised for their outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and cultural activities. Additionally, 50 staff members were honoured for their contribution to academics, research, and long service.
A total of ₹5 lakh was awarded in cash prizes, with notable recognition including the Vinay Deepak Memorial and Amitesh Rahul awards.

Campco celebrates Founders' Day
Mangaluru: The interstate cooperative society of areca nut farmers, Campco, should prioritise research and the use of innovative technology, said Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta. He was speaking at the Founders' Day celebration at Campco's headquarters here on Friday. He launched various chocolate products of Campco on the occasion. The Prime Minister's vision emphasises the importance of research and innovative technology in production.
