Ansley Carr will cheer at Anderson University.
'I've cheered since I was four, Carr said. 'So I've dedicated a lot of my life and a lot of time to it. I'm pretty excited to take it to the next level.'
Jackson MacDonald takes his cross country and track skills to Spartanburg Methodist.
'If it doesn't happen, it doesn't mean anything,' MacDonald said. 'So I think it just means the world that I can keep going to do what I love and pursue a career with it.'
Will Bostwick is headed to Hampden Sydney College for football.
'I'm hoping to start next year in my freshman year and then hopefully work my way up and maybe get to a higher division school later on,' Bostwick said.
High school teammates Bryson Hart and Will Rowley will play lacrosse at Belmont Abbey College.
'I'm really excited to spend the next four with Will again,' Hart said. 'Just these past four, I hope they are as successful as the next four.'
Rowley said, 'Bryson and I have been playing all four years. He's honestly my best friend. I'm just glad I get to room and play with him for the next four years.'
Congratulations to all the May River signees.

Pooler pizza place offering ‘dad daycare' for Father's Day
POOLER, Ga. (WSAV) — Boston's Pizza will be celebrating Father's Day this weekend by offering its own spin on the festivities 'dad daycare.' Starting Friday, dads can be dropped off to hang out with fellow dads while enjoying food and watching the many sporting events of the weekend, including the NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals and U.S. Open. 'We understand that families might have to get dad a last-minute gift or may just need a break, so we wanted to offer a place to drop him off with other dads his age who share a lot of the same interests,' said General Manager Cynthia Tijerina. 'The dad daycare staff at Boston's is very qualified to take good care of the dads inyour family, and we are happy to share a progress report when you pick him up.' Boston's is open from 11-1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Sunday hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Falcons defense ready to make a statement
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Falcons defense has been overshadowed this offseason by stories centered around quarterbacks Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix Jr. However, if the Falcons have any hope of making the playoffs for first time in eight years, they will need better production from their defense. Specifically, the defensive line. Last year, Atlanta produced 31 sacks, which was second fewest in the league. Only New England's 28 ranked worse. The front office did make some moves after the year. They released defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, which was surprising since he won the Walter Payton Man of the Year for the Falcons. Atlanta put a heavy emphasis on the defensive side of the ball during the draft. Four of their five draft picks were defensive players, which includes their two first round picks linebacker Jalon Walker from Georgia and defensive end James Pearce from Tennessee. Atlanta also needs to improve its defensive third-down conversation rate. They gave up over 45% last year, which was second worst in the league. The Falcons continue the final day of mandatory minicamp tomorrow, but the final practice is not open to the media. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
