Anna Faris teases joining Real Housewives cast nearly seven years after Chris Pratt divorce

Daily Mail28-04-2025
Anna Faris has considered joining the Real Housewives franchise.
The 48-year-old actress - who was previously married to Chris Pratt - revealed that she would 'take the call' if Bravo boss Andy Cohen approached her to join the highly-popular reality franchise.
Anna told Us Weekly recently: 'I was thinking the other day if I would make a good Real Housewife.
'I think I'm way too boring. I don't know if I'm too nice. I really think I would wear everything on my sleeve. I think I would blurt out all the time … I don't know if I would put on the whole pretense of 'there's no cameras.' I don't know. I don't know.'
As she has acted professionally for nearly 30 years, she questioned if she could actually be herself in front of the camera for the sake of reality television drama.
She explained: 'I feel like, fundamentally, I can be pretty quiet and reserved in my own skin.
'But it would be really fun to play a character on a reality show.'
But if push comes to shove, she revealed to the weekly that she 'would totally take the phone call' from Cohen if ever asked to join the show and especially if it was for The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
However, she questioned her ability to hang on-screen with the likes of Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Denise Richards, and Erika Girardi as she said: 'But they're so advanced.
'That's like going to graduate school when you're a freshman.'
This comes just a month after Anna made some rare comments about the 12-year-old son, Jack, whom she shares with ex Pratt.
'He's handled the situation with the fires well,' the Mom alum told Us Weekly last month regarding how her child handled losing their home during the LA fires earlier this year.
'I really appreciate that,' added the star.
While speaking during the push to promote her partnership with the bathroom cleaner Scrubbing Bubbles, the actress went on to reveal that she feels 'so lucky' to have Jack at her side.

'He's always had such a solid anchor,' she said in another interview with People. 'I don't know where, being a kid in Hollywood, he got that.'
She added, 'I don't know how he got so down-to-earth, but I'm really grateful.'
Faris and Pratt, 45, separated in 2017 and eventually finalized their divorce the following year after being married since 2009.
Despite ending their romantic relationship the former couple have tried to remain close as co-parents for the benefit of their son, who they welcomed in August 2012.
They have both moved on and have gotten married again: Faris tied-the-knot with cinematographer Michael Barrett in 2021, while Pratt wed Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019, and have since welcomed three children of their own.
But, just some two months ago, their blended family lives turned tense and scary when they were forced to evacuate their homes in their respective Pacific Palisades neighborhoods in Los Angeles as the deadly fire tore through the area in January.
In the end, Pratt's home with Schwarzenegger was spared, however, Faris' house was left in a pile of rubble.
In fact, the Scary Movie star's residence turned out to be one of 18,000 homes and structures that burned in the L.A. wildfires, which mainly comprised of the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire.

On top of the loss of the home she shares with her son, Jack's school was also destroyed, Pratt reported an Instagram video at the time.
'It's surreal and has been tough, [but] we feel fortunate because we're safe,' Faris explained to Us, before adding, 'I'm really grateful to be working.'
In addition to the cleaning campaign with Scrubbing Bubbles, Faris has also been able to focus on her work shooting the upcoming comedy film Spa Weekend, alongside co-stars Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, and Michelle Buteau.
Her other new roles include a voice spot in the animated comedy film Toy Story 5, starring Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, and the live-action animated film I, Object that features Karl Urban, Jemaine Clement, and Skywalker Hughes.
Faris, a Baltimore, Maryland native, had her breakout role when she starred in the horror-comedy parody film Scary Movie (2000).
She went on to appear in the next three sequels in the film franchise through 2006.
Her other notable roles include The Hot Chick (2002, Lost In Translation (2003), Brokeback Mountain (2005), Just Friends (2005, My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006), Smiley Face (2007), The House Bunny (2008), What's Your Number? (2011), The Dictator (2012), and Overboard (2018), along with her eight season run in the hit CBS sitcom Mom (2013-2021).

Justin Bieber sparks concern with 'detox' photo as fans say 'that's not okay'

Canadian singer Justin Bieber has raised concern among fans after posting cryptic 'detox' images on Instagram, amid reports of personal struggles and tension in his marriage to wife Hailey Justin Bieber has left fans unsettled after uploading a series of cryptic photos on Instagram, hinting at a 'detox' while rumours of tension in his marriage to Hailey Bieber continue to swirl. On Sunday, the 31-year-old pop star shared five photos with the caption: 'Detoxxxxxxxxxxx.' Four images showed extreme close-ups of his sweat-drenched face with a towel draped over his head. He appeared to force a slight smirk, which further prompted fans to question his well-being. ‌ The final photo in the set showed a Honda CRV on a highway with European license plates and a 100 km/h speed sign, adding more confusion to the post. ‌ While Justin offered no explanation, many interpreted the word 'detox' to reference a wellness cleanse or possible emotional reset. Detoxes are often associated with cutting out harmful substances, stress relief, or fasting. They can also include saunas, juice fasts, or supplements, though it is still unclear what form of detox Justin is undertaking. Concerned followers quickly flooded the comments. One fan wrote: 'Dear Justin, as a Canadian mama please do not go down the Britney Spears road. You are a smart, talented, loving young man and you are being steered down the wrong path by people who do not care about you." The social media user went on: "Come home for a while, come back to Canada. Go rent a cottage in lake country with your wife, son, and family that care for you while you focus on your mental health and physical health. You are a good kid who deserves better than you are allowing yourself.' The emotional post comes amid speculation of mounting pressure behind the scenes. A source recently told Us Weekly: 'Justin's been a hard person to deal with recently because of what he's going through. It's been really hard on her [Hailey].' ‌ Another insider said: 'Justin's going through a difficult time, and Hailey is giving him room to get himself back on track. He's doing his best, but it's tough.' Although Hailey recently sold her Rhode Beauty brand to e.l.f. for $1 billion, staying on as chief creative officer, reports claim family pressures have dimmed the milestone. Still, insiders insist the couple remains committed. 'They don't talk about divorce,' said one source, while another added: 'Faith is a big part of their life. They believe they are soulmates and meant for each other. They'll do anything to make it work.'

Barron Trump's incredibly lavish life as he lands first girlfriend

Barron Trump, Donald Trump's youngest son, has lived a life of luxury from being pampered with caviar-enriched skincare to attending eye-wateringly expensive schools, and now he's said to have his first girlfriend Donald Trump's son Barron Trump has enjoyed an exceptionally indulgent lifestyle from the moment he was born, and it appears he's swiftly growing up with a rumoured new love interest. The 19-year-old student is the only child of Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, while the US President also has four other children from two previous marriages. Barron, who is the youngest child of Trump, has remained largely out of the spotlight, but this week it was rumoured that he has a girlfriend, thought to be his first. ‌ While the teen has yet to confirm a romance, any relationship of his will undoubtedly reap the benefits of his lavish lifestyle, which he's been indulging in from a very young age. One of which saw him receive a seriously expensive golden pushchair courtesy of Ellen DeGeneres. ‌ While most people are content with their own bedrooms, a single room simply wouldn't suffice for Barron. When he was a baby, Baron had already claimed an entire floor of his parents' Manhattan penthouse as his domain. The suite, located in Trump's notorious Fifth Avenue residence, featured a nursery, lounge, kitchen, and quarters for Melania and the childminders. He appeared to relish the space, with Melania telling People after his arrival that he was a "very good baby" and "not like a crybaby - he's calm, and it's fantastic." As a child, he didn't just bask in the glow of his father's fame; he also enjoyed the perks of Melania's entrepreneurial venture when she launched her caviar-infused skincare line, Caviar Complexe C6, in 2013. At the tender age of seven, Barron had already adopted a posh skincare regimen. Melania shared with ABC News that she applied the luxurious moisturiser to Barron every night after his bath. "I put it on him from head to toe," she revealed. "He likes it!" Upon Trump's arrival at the White House in 2017, young Barron was swiftly allotted his own private quarters. His opulent lifestyle wasn't confined to his residence; his education mirrored this extravagance, attending some of the most prestigious and costly schools. ‌ Before his White House days, Barron attended Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, nestled in Manhattan's Upper West Side. In his last year there, he treated his entire fifth-grade class to a trip to Washington, where a contingent of 80 students, teachers, and Secret Service agents toured the White House. His educational journey continued at St Andrew's in Potomac, Maryland, where fees hit an eye-watering $50,000 (£39,000) annually. Following the Trumps' move back to Mar-a-Lago in 2021, Barron switched to Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, where tuition fees stand at a hefty $38,000 (£29,000), as stated on the school's website. ‌ Despite his luxurious upbringing, Barron enjoyed quality time with his Slovenian grandparents, savouring traditional dishes from his late grandmother, Amalija Knavs. He was raised on Slovenian cuisine and is fluent in the language, thanks to his mother and grandparents' tutelage - he's also conversant in French. Melania has consistently expressed her and Trump's commitment to being present for Barron. In a 2015 conversation with People, Melania emphasised her parenting approach: "I like to be hands-on. I think it's very important. Barron is nine years old. He needs somebody as a parent there, so I am with him all the time. As you know, my husband is travelling all the time." ‌ When Trump was at home, Melania praised his parenting skills, revealing how he'd spend his mornings chatting and bonding with Barron. Trump once confessed: "We keep it [nannies] down to a minimum. If you have too much help, you don't get to know your children." Back in 2012, Melania also shared with Hip Mama magazine that Barron was "a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy" who is "independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants." ‌ Despite Barron's lavish lifestyle and countless privileges, Melania treasured her maternal duties and devoted every spare moment to him. "I am a full-time mum; that is my first job. The most important job ever," the first lady declared. As Melania's first and Trump's fifth child and only child together, the news of Barron's impending arrival appeared to have caught the president off guard. Melania recalled to People: "He came home [one day last August], and I told him he'd be a daddy. And his reaction was at first he needed to take it in. "It was a real surprise. And then he was very happy." Trump confessed that while he anticipated having children with Melania, Barron's swift arrival was unexpected. He previously remarked: "I expected we were going to have children, so I wasn't totally surprised. But I was surprised by the speed of it. It happened very quickly."
