Kelsey Parker surrounds herself with family after loss of baby son in poignant snap

Podcast host Kelsey Parker has made a return to social media for the first time since announcing the devastating death of her third child as she takes a break away
Kelsey Parker has surrounded herself with her family as she takes a much-needed trip away following the death of her third child. The Wanted star Tom Parker's widow sadly announced her third child was born stillborn last month.

She shares her child with her partner Will Lindsay, and broke the devastating news on social media as she revealed they had a little boy named Phoenix. Since then, Kelsey has taken time away from social media and a break away from her day-to-day life.

Marking her return to Instagram, Kelsey shared a family photo with Will and her two children with Tom, Aurelia, six, and Bodhi, four. They soaked up the sun in a hot location as they looked out at a stunning view together.

The podcaster chose not to share where they have decided to take a break to, but said: "Exactly what we needed. Thank you @jet2 for making it so easy. X."
Just last month, Kelsey shared the heartbreaking news of her son on her account. Her devastating tribute to her son included one simple heartbreaking caption: 'Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved."

She added a moving poem, entitled For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved. The poem read: 'The world grew quiet as you arrived, So loved, so longed for, yet not alive. Our precious boy, our angel light, Born with wings, took silent flight.
'We named you Phoenix, brave and bright. A soul of love, of warmth and light. Though we never heard you cry, You'll live in hearts that won't ask why. No breath you drew, no eyes to see, Still, you mean everything to me. You'll journey with us, softly near, In every sigh, in every tear.'
Kelsey was flooded with support from her followers as well as celebrity pals, which she preempted with a message. In her post, she wrote: "Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt wishes, I wanted to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share.

"But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news. I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space. Love always, Kelsey, Will, and the Parker Family."
Kelsey shares children Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, with The Wanted star Tom Parker, who tragically died from brain cancer in 2022 at the age of 33, four years after they married.
She had opened up to the Mirror in January about her excitement at welcoming a third child into the family home which she now shares with tree surgeon Will, after finding love again last September.

Confessing that the baby, which would have been Will's first child, was a "happy accident", Kelsey said she was gently preparing Aurelia and Bodhi for a new sibling.
Will also told us: "I'm over the moon. This is something I've wanted for a long time. I couldn't be happier and I know Kelsey is going to be an amazing mum, as she already is."

Shaughna Phillips reveals unborn baby's gender in first video with jailbird boyfriend

Love Island star, Shaughna Phillips, is expecting her second baby with boyfriend, Billy Webb, who was jailed in 2023 for Class A drug offences Love Island's Shaughna Phillips has revealed the gender of her unborn baby in a new video with boyfriend, Billy Webb. ‌ Shaughna, 31, who shares daughter, Lucia, two, with Webb, revealed the couple were expecting again in June after her boyfriend was allowed a brief home visit while serving a nine-year sentence for Class A drug offences. ‌ The Love Island star never reveals her partner's identity on Instagram and made sure to block out his face as she shared her latest video, filmed in her back garden. Snuggled together with little Lucia alongside them, the couple revealed they were having another girl as their daughter excitedly opened a box to reveal a pink cuddly bunny and a fluffy pink pram suit. ‌ Responding to the adorable clip, Shaughna's famous pals sent their well wishes. Former TOWIE star, Billie Shepherd replied: "Congratulations darling" as Gogglebox's Ellie Warner also congratulated the reality star. Speaking to the Mirror about trying for her second child, Shaughna admitted she planned the pregnancy, even tracking her ovulation to boost her chances of conceiving. ‌ However, she says she was stunned that her baby dream came true so quickly. 'It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home,' the mum-of-one told us. 'I was like, 'You know what? Why not? Let's just see'. And literally, the next day, I said to Billy, 'I think I'm pregnant.'' ‌ Shaughna's gut feeling was confirmed ten days later, when multiple pregnancy tests showed up positive. 'I found out very, very early on,' she exclusively told us. 'I was doing maybe five tests a day. I'm not even exaggerating.' Shaughna said Billy, who was jailed in 2023, is currently allowed out on home visits for 'a few days' each month. And while she has so far been forced to raise her daughter as a single parent, the star says her partner is due for early release and should be reunited with his family in time for their new arrival. 'I know the date that he's due to be home, but I'm not saying it just because anything could happen,' she says carefully. 'But hopefully he will be fully home before my baby is due.' ‌ After missing out on being a hands-on dad first time around, Shaughna is looking forward to having Billy there when the new baby arrives. 'He definitely wanted another one. He didn't get that newborn experience [with Lucia] and I think that's what he wanted,' she shared, joking that she wants Billy to 'experience the newborn stage and everything it has to offer, because he does not know what is coming his way.'

OnlyFans model builds £10m mansion with 25ft ceilings for her super tall family

Marie Temara is 6ft 3in, an entire foot taller than the average woman in the UK, while her mum Christine, 63, is 6ft 5in and her dad Michael, 65, is 6ft 3in. A family of five who are so tall that they bump their heads on doorframes are building a supersized £10m mansion with 25ft ceilings and 12ft doors. ‌ Marie Temara is 6ft 3in, an entire foot taller than the average woman in the UK, while her mum Christine, 63, is 6ft 5in and her dad Michael, 65, is 6ft 3in. ‌ The model also has two basketballer brothers, Troy, 27, who stands at 6ft 10in and Shane, 29, who reaches 6ft 9in. The family have become so sick of banging their heads while moving around their respective homes that they are now planning on knocking their houses down and building a towering mansion to live in together. ‌ "We're going the extra mile to make our home more comfortable to live in," Marie, who has 3m followers on Instagram, @marietemara, said. "Our houses are way too small for us because the ceilings are eight feet tall so we're going to knock them down. We're always touching the door frames, banging our heads and having to duck. ‌ "The toilets and showers are too low, we have to crouch down to wash our hair and the baths are too small to lie down in. We're going to have the ceilings and doors as tall as they can go and all the space we need." Marie, from Florida, US, currently lives in a £1.5m house with 8ft ceilings and a £75,000 gym that the fitness fanatic had installed herself. Meanwhile, retired 911 operator Christine and retired electrician Michael live in a £500,000 property next door. But because they weren't always wealthy, the family have always lived in homes unsuitable to their lofty heights. ‌ That's set to change following Marie's success on OnlyFans, which she joined in 2021. The adult star made £110,000 in her first month and now rakes in £7.5m per year. ‌ As a result, Marie has been able to help her parents retire and even bought them their current home. She also plans to fork out for the new mansion out of her earnings from the site. She said: "We didn't have that much money growing up, so we couldn't afford to make the house bigger like I can now. My brothers would smack their heads going down the stairs every time. ‌ "The houses we lived in were from the seventies, so we were hitting our heads on ceilings, and everything was too low, including the toilets and shower heads. We all had that problem growing up. "We are looking forward to having a home where we don't have to hunch, crouch, or worry about hitting our heads every time we walk through a room. Dad was an electrician, and he barely made anything. "He made £26,000 a year, and my mom was an emergency operator, so she didn't make much more than that. It was pretty hard, but they did a really good job of giving us everything that we'd ever needed. They just never had any money to buy anything for themselves. So they really put us first. "It will be nice to do this for them; they deserve it. This is something we've talked about for years, and I'm grateful I can finally make it happen for my family."

John Torode's 'struggle' with MasterChef co-star Gregg Wallace's off-screen behaviour

John Torode and Gregg Wallace have been BBC MasterChef co-hosts for 20 years - but their behind-the-scenes relationship has been called into question following their recent sacking John Torode found one aspect of his partnership with Gregg Wallace particularly taxing, a journalist who interviewed the MasterChef host revealed. Wallace was dismissed from the BBC programme after 45 complaints against him were upheld. His co-presenter Torode later learned that his contract would not be renewed following an investigation that confirmed he had uttered racially insensitive remarks some years prior. Following their dismissals, anecdotes about the duo have come to light, including one from a journalist who met Torode. Michael Odell of The Times has interviewed the Australian chef on two occasions. Michael recalled: "The first time I met Torode was in 2022 and he described dealing with his erstwhile MasterChef presenting partner Gregg Wallace and his early morning phone calls. It was obvious being woken up at 6am by Wallace in Duracell Bunny 'let's get to work!' mode was not easy." He also noted a recurring sentiment from both interviews, stating: "Both times I came away thinking, 'Why am I not as nice as John Torode?'" Despite their apparent camaraderie on the BBC series, the pair have previously admitted their relationship isn't quite as cordial off-screen. Torode once told the Mirror: "It's funny, we've never been friends. We've not been to each other's houses." He further explained: "If we go away to somewhere like South Africa," adding, "we do things separately ... If we do go out for a drink, I'll invariably be at one end of a big old table and he'll be at the other." John Torode has opened up about the intense clashes he's had with his co-host Gregg Wallace during their two decades of presenting together, admitting they've had "massive fights" over which contestants should stay or go on the show – tensions that didn't always dissipate once filming wrapped. "We've had a couple of standoffs over the years," Torode confessed. "I've just had to walk away from him." Meanwhile, Wallace seemed unaware of any serious issues, as he reflected in a 2017 interview with Lorraine. He explained: "I film with John six or seven months of the year, so we are very close to each other physically, and emotionally we are very close to each other. "What's great about having a partnership is that if one of you is a bit off, a bit down, the other one naturally steps up, so I rely on John a lot." A source from behind the scenes also shared with BBC News: "Clearly they had a good chemistry when the cameras were rolling. But you rarely saw them interact when the cameras were off." Wallace has since apologised for his behaviour, insisting he is "so sorry" but stated: "I am not a groper, a sex pest or a flasher." Torode, aged 60, has refuted an old accusation regarding the use of racist language, stating he has no memory of such an incident and does not believe it occurred. Whatever lies ahead for the pair, Wallace and Torode will appear on screen together for a handful more occasions. The BBC has, following extensive deliberation, chosen to broadcast their final series together from August 6, and may also transmit a Celebrity MasterChef series and Christmas special that are both allegedly completed. Nevertheless, some editorial modifications may have been implemented to minimise the duration the pair feature on screen. A BBC representative stated: "MasterChef is an amazing competition which is life-changing for the amateur chefs taking part. The focus of it has always been their skill and their journey,". "This has not been an easy decision in the circumstances and we appreciate not everyone will agree with it. "In showing the series, which was filmed last year, it in no way diminishes our view of the seriousness of the upheld findings against both presenters. We have been very clear on the standards of behaviour that we expect of those who work at the BBC or on shows made for the BBC."
