Deceased Imran Ahmed, 25, and Asif Ahmed, 30, were residents of Aligarh. They were preparing to retire for the day when their supervisor called them around 9pm, asking them to go to the factory located in Roravar police station area. While they were cleaning, they accidentally fell into the tank filled with blood and lost consciousness. They were rushed to hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.
On Friday, the victims' families alleged negligence on the part of the labour contractor.
Imran's wife Khushboo claimed her husband was forced to report for work at an untimely hour and that the contractor threatened to stop his wages if he failed to go. "My husband left for the factory in the night and we received a call from the factory management on Friday morning, informing us that he was admitted to hospital. When we reached the hospital, we were told that he had died," said Khushboo.
Asif's spouse, Boby, said, "The labour contractor promised to pay Rs 300 if my husband went to the factory at night. I came to know about his death in the morning. We want justice."
Roravar SHO Shishupal Sharma said, "Post-mortem report is awaited. We have launched an investigation and appropriate action will be taken. No police complaint has been filed so far."

Ehsan Ali Saeed's company Western Advisory Group was based in Switzerland and Bahrain. This company arranged loans of about 70 million pounds (about Rs 735 crore) in the name of getting loans to Swiss companies between 2008 and 2011 and charged brokerage of 25 million pounds (about Rs 262 crore) in return. After getting the money, Saeed absconded. On the request of the Swiss government, London police arrested him in November 2022. After this, in July 2023, the Westminster Court approved his extradition. Finally, the Zurich Court of Switzerland sentenced Saeed to 6 years and 6 months in prison for fraud and absconding with the money. What was Harshvardhan's role? Interrogation of Harshvardhan Jain has revealed that he also has a connection with Ehsan Ali. Harshvardhan's involvement with Ehsan Ali is being investigated. Jain has several bank accounts opened in his name in India and abroad, which are being investigated. A case has been registered against Harshvardhan in Kavinagar police station under sections 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340. The STF is preparing to take his remand. 3 held for attacking petrol pump staff on Del-Jaipur highway
Jaipur: Three men were arrested Friday for launching a violent assault on a petrol pump along the Delhi-Aj)mer highway under Chandwaji police station limits. The incident left a security guard seriously injured on Thursday. The attack occurred early Thursday morning at Shyam Filling Station in the Verna area. It involved suspects armed with iron rods, sticks, and pipes. According to Chandwaji SHO Hiralal Saini, the arrested accused were identified as Naman Sharma (22) of Vidhyadhar Nagar, Dhairya Arneja (24) of Murlipura, and Vansh Jangid (23) of Sikar Road, all residents of Jaipur. Police said the incident began when the accused arrived at the pump in a car, filled diesel worth Rs 2,111, removed the vehicle's number plate to avoid identification, and fled without paying. Within minutes, a second wave of violence followed. At least five to six individuals arrived in two vehicles and stormed the premises, assaulting the employees with iron rods and wooden sticks. Security guard Babulal Meena, who attempted to stop the attackers, suffered severe head injuries and multiple blows to the body. The assailants also vandalised several vehicles parked at the site before speeding away.

Came from Delhi, fled without trace: Cops scan 100 CCTV feeds to track Ghaziabad store jewellery robbers
Ghaziabad: After two men robbed a jewellery store in Brij Vihar on Thursday, police have launched a search operation to nab the accused. Cops, so far, have scanned over 100 CCTV feeds to identify the men who, dressed in Swiggy and Blinkit delivery rider uniforms, looted the shop. The footage from the store showed two people wearing helmets when they entered the jewellery store and escaped with gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 30 lakh. At the time of the incident, the shop owner, Krishna Verma of Brijesh Vihar, was at home, and the store's staff member, Shubham Kumar, was present. In one of the videos that is circulating on social media, the men are seen entering the shop, and they start pushing Kumar inside the store while one person takes out a gun from his trousers to threaten the staff. The second person then starts collecting all valuables in a bag, and after attacking Kumar, they escape from the scene on bike. Explaining the ordeal that went on for six minutes, Kumar said, "I was afraid, and my mind was not working after seeing the gun while one of the robbers was very aggressive. He was slapping me, and more than three times, he pointed a pistol at me in those six minutes of robbery." Shweta Yadav, ACP, Sahibabad, said that based on the complaint, an FIR was registered against unknown persons under Section 309 (4) (punishment for robbery) of BNS in the Link Road police station. Five teams have been formed to nab the accused. "Initial investigation revealed that the accused came from the Delhi side, and after the robbery, they fled towards Delhi also. We have checked over hundreds of the CCTV cameras in Ghaziabad and Delhi, but we didn't get any clue. The number plates on the bike used by the accused are also fake," Yadav said.
