Victoria Beckham shares sweet snaps of 'best friend' Harper on her birthday

Daily Mirror6 hours ago
Victoria Beckham, who shares her children with David Beckham, posted a gushing birthday message to her youngest child - and only daughter - Harper Seven as the teen turned 14 years old
Victoria Beckham was quick off the mark to wish her youngest child a happy birthday with a sweet montage of throwback snaps and clips. The Spice Girl, 51, sharply posted to Instagram to mark the 14th birthday of her "best friend" Harper.
The singer turned fashionista's gushing message began: "Happy birthday to my world!!" She went on: "You are my everything and I'm so proud of the strong, confident, kind and talented young lady you are becoming.

"You're my best friend and I'm so lucky I get to be your mummy. We love you so so much #HarperSeven!! Enjoy your special day!! Kisses @davidbeckham xxx".

Among the sweet uploads was a shot of Victoria pregnant with Harper. She also posted a number of adorable videos of a young Harper following in her mum's musical footsteps.
Among the songs performed by the youngster were Call Me Maybe. She also sang along to one of her mum's most popular songs from the Spice Girls, Stop.

Other shots included Harper playing the flute, sitting on a motorcycle with her dad, David Beckham, and writing a family message in the sand.
Victoria's message was quickly praised by her followers in the comments section. One wrote: "Precious moments!!! Happy birthday beautiful." And another added: "Just a regular girl loving the same things we all did growing up. Well done. She's lovely."

Victoria wasn't the only Beckham to be sharing an early morning message to the youngest of the clan, either. Romeo was on hand to send his sister some birthday love, too.
He took to his Instagram Story to share his own special post. As he uploaded a snap of the pair hugging, he wrote: "Happy 14th to the most amazing human there is. Love you always and forever." He signed off with two red love heart emojis.

The outpour of love comes as the family still deals with the fallout involving David and Victoria's eldest chid, Brooklyn Beckham. It's reported Harper has idolised her oldest brother Brooklyn since she was a young child, but friction has developed within the family since Brooklyn's no-show at Sir David's birthday bash.
A source recently said of the situation: "Brooklyn and Harper used to be inseparable. He adored her, he hopefully still does, but the problem is that Brooklyn has a track record for ignoring family birthdays now."
Speaking to Mail Online, the source said: "Harper's birthday has always been such a happy day, she's the adored little daughter so it's always so joyous but this is a tough situation.
"Brooklyn was 12 when Harper was born, he was so important in her life and it must be terribly sad that she isn't seeing him since the fall out with David and Victoria happened."
It is believed Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, who married in April 2022 at her family's £76million Florida mansion, no longer speak to Sir David and Lady Beckham. And the fallout has left those close to the family fearful of an affect on Harper.

Laura Anderson says ex Gary Lucy makes 'no contact' with daughter Bonnie

Laura Anderson and Gary Lucy welcomed daughter Bonnie together in 2023, however the Hollyoaks star reportedly hasn't seen his daughter at all this year. Love Island star Laura Anderson has candidly opened up on her ex Gary Lucy's involvement with their daughter Bonnie Rose. It comes after the mum-of-one admitted to being "fed up" over the situation as she disclosed everything in a recent Q&A on social media. The 36-year-old, who is now happily in a relationship with Dundee footballer Clark Robertson, was travelling on a train when she was catching up with fans. She posted a series of updates with her 1.5 million followers on Instagram. ‌ "Does Gary ever see Bonnie? She's such a beautiful girl, he's a kn*b for missing out. Keep being you," one fan wrote alongside a red love heart emoji. Laura responded with a irked look on her face as she gave a detailed reply to the burning question. ‌ Laura, who recently moved just outside of Dundee, stated: "Fed up doing this question, so to sum up. Gary saw Bonnie once last year and not at all this year. This is his choice and we do not hear for him or receive any money through CMS." "I have always felt guilty mentioning his name or stating facts on our situation but I'm only hiding the truth to protect him which tbh I'm over/still a bit scared of," she explained accompanied by a monkey emoji covering its eyes. "Due to him sending me a strong worded text or press saying ' Laura Anderson takes vile swipe...' etc." "It's all a bit backwards focusing on me telling the truth instead of the man not supporting his child but hey this is the world we live in," she concluded. Responding to another fan who quizzed the former Love Island star on boyfriend Clarke's role in her daughter Bonnie's life, Laura was asked if she sees the Dundee footballer as a stepfather to her only child. ‌ "Hmm she calls him Cack aka Clark, I wouldn't introduce him as Bonnie's stepdad not atm anyway," Laura stated. "Everything still feels weirdly quite new even though we're celebrating our one year anniversary this month. "He also has children so we need to be mindful of everyones needs and feelings. I hope one day our families will be blended that would be the dream, but life is never simple." ‌ Baby Bonnie was ten months old when Laura and Clark met. The Scots influencer candidly opened up on how her new boyfriend is becoming slowly more "hands on" with Bonnie, and spent some quality time alone with her for the first time earlier this week. Touching on when the pair first met, Laura reminisced: "He messaged me three years ago and I saw it by chance and replied lol. We've been together ever since. Clark loves that story," she laughed. Gary Lucy's representatives have been contacted for comment.

Loose Women's explosive changes in full from huge cuts to major celebrity change

Loose Women is among ITV's daytime shows that are facing budget cuts in the coming months as insiders warn the show will be completely stripped back from its usual setup Loose Women is facing its biggest shake-up in decades, with dramatic changes that have left fans and cast members reeling as insiders fear the ITV favourite could be axed altogether within the next year. The iconic lunchtime chat show, known for its bold debates and A-list guests, is expected to cut celebrity interviews completely from January as part of sweeping budget cuts across ITV Daytime. The move comes just months after bosses announced the show would only air for 30 weeks of the year rather than its usual 52, slashing production time nearly in half. ‌ Now, with viewing figures predicted to tumble even further, sources claim Loose Women is 'on borrowed time' as ITV pivots its focus to sister shows Lorraine and This Morning. ‌ 'It's a real shame. In January, the programme will become a shell of its former self before it is inevitably cancelled altogether,' one TV insider told Mail Online. No more celebrity guests Over its 25 year history, Loose Women has welcomed some of the world 's biggest stars to the panel - from Naomi Campbell and Janet Jackson to Dame Joan Collins and even former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. But sources claim the show will no longer feature famous faces promoting their projects because there won't be enough staff to manage guests behind the scenes. ‌ Instead, those high-profile bookings will now reportedly be prioritised for Lorraine and This Morning, leaving Loose Women to rely solely on its panel discussions of the day's news and lifestyle topics. 'Not having guests is a big blow for both the presenters and viewers at home,' an insider revealed. 'The celebrity interviews are often one of the highlights of the show and bring a unique energy you don't get on other programmes. It feels like a strange decision to cut them altogether.' ‌ Behind the scenes, the panel - including long-serving stars like Nadia Sawalha, Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan - are said to be 'deeply upset' by the changes. Studio audience scrapped The cuts don't stop there. Loose Women has already axed its live studio audience, a move that has left both the panel and crew heartbroken. Nadia Sawalha admitted she was 'totally devastated' at the loss of the audience and spoke out in support of her close friend and warm-up artist Lee Peart, who lost his job as a result. ‌ 'The audience is so important for the show,' Nadia said. 'What a lot of people don't realise is that we're self-employed. Every contract is a new contract - I could be let go tomorrow or in five years. It's brutal.' She added: 'Hundreds of people are going to be made redundant out of the blue. A lot of my friends and colleagues on this show and at ITV have been there for decades, and I can't tell you how upsetting it was to see people walking around numb with shock and fear about what they were going to do.' Reason behind changes ITV bosses have blamed 'insane inflation' and rising costs for the daytime cuts, which have also seen Lorraine halved to 30 minutes and reduced to term-time broadcasts. ‌ In May, ITV confirmed that production of Good Morning Britain will shift to a dedicated team at ITV News, while Loose Women, Lorraine, and This Morning will merge behind-the-scenes teams to save costs. But industry insiders warn that these measures will likely spell the end for Loose Women. An ITV spokesperson said: 'The Loose Women team is still working on the show and its content for next year.'
