West Lothian collision triggers closures as M8 drivers warned
The incident, which is understood to have happened at around 4am, saw police called to The Boghead Roundabout outside Bathgate. Motorists were warned of road closures at Heatherfield Roundabout, Pottishaw Roundabout, Roadhouse Roundabout, and Bathgate Roundabout.
The condition of those involved is not currently known.

West Lothian Council said: "The Boghead Roundabout outside Bathgate at J4 M8 is currently closed due to an accident.
"The roads to Boghead roundabout are closed at the following locations: Heatherfield Roundabout, M8 JCT 4 at Pottishaw Roundabout, Roadhouse Roundabout, Whitburn Road Bathgate Roundabout at Sibcas (Half Loaf Pond), A7066 at Junction with Standhill Road (Kia garage junction)."
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.

Missing child alert issued for 7-month-old last seen in Hollywood months ago, authorities say
A missing child alert has been issued after a South Florida family told authorities they had not seen their baby niece since December of last year. On Thursday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Persons Information Clearinghouse issued a missing child alert for seven-month-old Baby Angelina, who was last seen in the area of 3000 Sheridan Street in Hollywood on Dec. 16, 2024. Following the alert, Hollywood Police issued another alert, asking for the public's help in finding the infant child. Angelina is believed to be with 19-year-old Samantha Feliz and 20-year-old Alejandro Leon Jr., who are the infant's parents, Hollywood Police and FLDE said. According to Hollywood Police, a concerned family member reported Angelina's disappearance after claiming he had not seen his niece "for quite some time," and that Feliz had made some "unsettling comments." Detectives have been working diligently to find Feliz and Leon, who Hollywood Police said are both experiencing homelessness. According to FDLE, Feliz and Leon may be using electric scooters and may be known as "The Scooter People." Additionally, FDLE said if Feliz and Leon are found, do not approach them and contact law enforcement immediately. Armed police have descended on an Edinburgh housing scheme amid an ongoing incident. A video taken from a resident near Murrayburn Park shows black-cladded officers armed with rifles walking through the estate. Locals can be seen watching on as the group of four firearms officers patrol the surrounding area. Two weeks after Denise Richards' estranged husband Aaron Phypers filed for divorce, he is now dropping shocking claims that Richards is allegedly struggling with addiction and having an affair. Phypers' allegations come just days after Richards was granted a temporary restraining order against him following her claims that he was physically violent to the point of giving her a black eye, which he has denied. Access has reached out to both Richards and her "Special Forces" instructor Rudy Reyes about allegations of an affair, as well to Richards about Phypers' explosive new allegations, including that she physically attacked him and that she needs an intervention for drug use. Richards' divorce attorney Brett Berman issued the following statement to Access: "In addition to the repeated abuse perpetrated by Mr. Phypers against Ms. Richards throughout the parties' marriage, Mr. Phypers has continued to harass Ms. Richards since being served with the Temporary Restraining Order by, among other things, disseminating private information from Ms. Richards' cell phone and laptop, which he stole. These actions continue to disturb Ms. Richards' peace. We have warned Mr. Phypers in writing not to disseminate any information from Ms. Richards' stolen cell phone and laptop but, he continues to do so.
