Blankety Blank has paid tribute to a contestant who died just a few months before his episode aired.
First airing in 1979, the comedy game show sees contestants trying to match answers given by celebrity panellists to fill-in-the-blank questions.
It was revived in 2021, with the current version being hosted by Bradley Walsh.
On the latest episode of the show, the famous panellists were Jack Dee, Rob Beckett, Lucy Beaumont, Steph McGovern, Kelly Holmes and Omid Djalili.
One of the contestants was contestant Nathanael Hill from Kirkby, who eventually took out the win.
However, at the conclusion, viewers were shocked to learn he had since died.

In the credits, a tribute popped up that revealed he'd died a few months ago.
Showing a photo of him riding a horse, the caption read: 'Nathanael Hill 1985 – 2025.'
Soon after those tuning in shared their own tributes online.
'Who knew you could get sad at the end of an episode of Blankety Blank? RIP Nathanael,' Andie shared on X.
'Well, I wasn't expecting that. Poor Nathaniel. RIP,' Paul shared.
'RIP Nathanial 😢 Fly high,' Di added.
A report from the Liverpool Echo explained that Hill died aged 39 in April this year.
A former armour officer in the air force, Hill had completed six tours of Iraq, four tours of Afghanistan and worked on Operation Red Flag.
However, while in south-central Asia, he was injured by shrapnel from a roadside bomb and was then medically discharged.
Four years later he was diagnosed with late-onset type 1 diabetes.
During the pandemic doctors discovered a blood clot in his leg, with Hill then battling three bouts of sepsis before having an above-knee amputation in October 2022.
After that Hill, a doting dad, began coaching and got back into triathlons and had aspirations to represent Team GB at the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics.
'If I get to represent Team GB it would just be a full circle. It would be a swan song for me,' he told the publication. More Trending
'My last engagement for the Air Force was opening the London 2012 Olympics games and the 2023 Olympics is going to be in LA, America, where I was recognised for saving two American officers' lives.
'Now, I can be seen as overcoming this next challenge and to be competing in their country.'
His cause of death has not been revealed.

Lucas arrested in Hollyoaks as he explodes with rage

Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) sees red in Hollyoaks next week as makes a beeline for Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Clare Devine's (Gemma Bissix) flat. The young chef, as fans know, holds the criminal sibling duo personally responsible for boyfriend Dillon Ray's (Nathaniel Dass) exploitation ordeal. Dillon has struggled to cope in the wake of the trauma and earlier this month he cheated on Lucas with a girl and suffered a relapse. Despite this being the second time Dillon cheated, Lucas ultimately forgave him, with the boyfriends agreeing to give things another go. It looked like things were on the up for the pair but next week sees the situation get seriously complicated after Ste (Kieron Richardson) takes Dillon to a recovery meeting. While there, he finds John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) spiralling following his wedding to Jez (Jeremy Sheffield). John Paul opens up about his guilt and, misreading the moment, he attempts to kiss Ste. Later, Ste feels lonely and attempts to download a dating app, only to see Dillon on there too. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Determined to get answers, he confronts Dillon, who admits that he's spiralling and self-sabotaging, insisting that he's never met anyone – but he has chatted online. Ste urges him to be honest with Lucas. Dillon does just that and Lucas, horrified, lashes out in pain and, later, a tense showdown with Clare and Grace at The Hutch leaves him fuelled by rage – as he storms over to Grace's flat. The teen is livid and demands that they confess to their crimes, smashing up the place in anger over what they've done to Dillon. Dillon, meanwhile, thanks sponsor Ste for his advice and support, hopeful about his future with Lucas. However, in an unexpected turn of events, he subsequently confesses that he's got feelings for Ste! Meanwhile, back at Grace's, chaos unfolds as Leela Dexter (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) tries to hold Lucas back. Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) subsequently steps in and arrests him. Ste sits down with Dillon to discuss what he's said and Dillon apologises as he grapples with conflicting emotions. The question is: just how will they react when they realise that Lucas has been arrested? To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video That remains to be seen but Clare is adamant that Lucas should be punished for destroying their flat. Lucas, meanwhile, finds out that Ste knew about Dillon's use of a dating app and his anger boils over in intense scenes. The Dog re-opens but celebrating isn't exactly on everyone's mind. Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) is hopeful of a future with one true love Diane (Alex Fletcher) but numerous missed calls from Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) lead him to the McQueen residence as he asks her to back off. Mercy, however, has other things to worry about as she frets over Bobby's whereabouts. More Trending Later, Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart), Sienna Blake (Anna Passey), Dodger and Jez arrive at the pub to celebrate the new era. Sienna, however, isn't pleased when she learns that Dodger is having a drink with Clare. Is this the beginning of a long-awaited feud for two of soap's finest schemers? Grace, meanwhile, sets out to find her long-lost child but Clare is pre-occupied with planning a dinner for herself and Dodger, brushing her sister's concerns off. Chris Hughes urged to 'keep some things private' after NSFW JoJo Siwa confession

Chris Hughes has made a rather shocking admission about his relationship with JoJo Siwa—and once you know it, you can't unknow it. The Celebrity Big Brother couple have been sharing glimpses of their romance on social media in the month they've been together. With JoJo, 22, in the States and Chris, 32—whom she calls 'my sweet Christopher'—in the UK, they've already jetted back and forth several times to spend time together. And after Chris gave his first tell-all interview about their blossoming relationship last week, it seems he just can't stop talking. The Love Island star made a very NSFW revelation in his latest chat with E! when asked about his future with JoJo, who previously dated Kath Ebbs, and the possibility of starting a family. Somehow, totally unprovoked, this led to him telling the world what his girlfriend has nicknamed his genitals. 'During an interview with me, she (JoJo) did mention her dream for three kids named Freddie, Eddie, and Teddy,' the interviewer began, referencing a now-viral moment from the Dance Moms personality. 'I'm not sure if you have heard of this before,' he said, to which Chris began laughing. 'Yeah, she's mentioned those names before,' he smiled. Probed on his reaction, Chris steered the conversation in a very different direction. 'Well, she calls my balls Jimmy and Timmy, so she must love the rhyming lingo within her life.' While the interviewer chuckled in response, the comments section of a clip shared on Instagram quickly flooded with confusion and demands that both parties start keeping some things private. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'Yea know…. There are things we just keep to ourselves 🥴😂', commented @gabriellemast_. 'Oh helll nahhhhh', wrote @itspaulybih. 'Omg…tmi 🥴', added @halfordsue. 'These celebs telling us things we don't want to know nowadays', agreed @crystalicioussss. However, plenty leapt to the defence of the lovebirds, championing Chris's British sense of humour. Others pointed out how Jimmy and Timmy were reportedly nicknames JoJo used in the CBB house, making it a long-standing, open joke. 'Shows people didn't watch big brother😂😂😂', laughed @ngodza24 in reaction to the trolling. Chris's confession comes after he opened up about his love for JoJo and how he's already been mentally planning their wedding. Speaking to The Sun, he admitted: 'I'd love to marry her. I'd be lying if I didn't tell you I run through scenarios of our wedding day … We'd have a proper English wedding, and I can imagine her in a full wedding dress.' On having children together, he added: 'We both want kids. 'We come from loving families. My mum loves her. She's my best friend. I love that she's the person I have to do nothing with and still have the best time. That's everything to me.' Elsewhere in the gushing interview, Chris explained that JoJo makes him feel 'safe'. He also made it clear he has no time for critics of their age gap or those accusing them of a 'showmance'. 'I wouldn't go to the effort of loving someone for any other reason than it being real,' he declared. Before his relationship with JoJo, Chris's former girlfriends included ITV presenter Olivia Attwood and Little Mix pop star Jesy Nelson. More Trending JoJo previously identified as a lesbian, having only publicly dated women and non-binary partners. However, she and Aussie musician Kath, 27, broke things off at the CBB wrap party in dramatic fashion, with JoJo now insisting that she feels more comfortable with the 'queer' label. Proving himself to be an ally, Chris declared in his interview earlier this month that 'love is love' and she is 'still part of the LGBTQ+ community,' regardless of who she is with. Got a story? He revealed what 'severed' his connection to the city FALLEN BY THE TAYSIDE Hollywood icon brands Scots city 'a f*****g disgrace' in scathing blast Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Brian Cox said the Scottish city he grew up in has turned from a lively place to an "absolute f*****g disgrace". Cox also admitted his connection to the city has been "severed" following the loss of his older sister Betty, who died at the age of 92 in 2023. The actor told the Big Issue magazine: "I'm 79 and I'm old enough to remember walking down the high street when [lightweight boxer] Dick McTaggart won gold at the 1956 Olympics in Australia. "I have this memory of him riding through the streets on top of the tram with his cup. "The town was lively then. "It was poor, but it had character. "Now the high street of Dundee is an absolute f*****g disgrace, just as it was in the '50s when they started sending people out into the schemes, which had no amenities and nothing to encourage community. "I lost half my class in 1956 when they all went off to the schemes." In the 1950s, Dundee built new council housing for working-class families, many of which were built on the outskirts of the city. Cox said he was "bereft" when Dundee citizens were moved out of the city centre, adding: "This lack of thinking still irritates me and it's constant. Scottish Premiership club enlist Hollywood superstar to sell their £95M new stadium and hotel plans "I met Dundee's Lord Provost recently and he told me he wanted to get people back into the city, I told him they should never have taken them out in the first place. "The damage that was done is the problem for all these new towns now. "You alienate people and effectively put them in open prisons." Cox added: "My connection to the place has been severed. "The reason I used to come back to Dundee was because of my oldest sister, Betty, and she passed away a few years ago. "So coming back has been sad, because now I want to see her and she's not here."
