Foo Fighters makes comeback with Today's Song
Legendary band Foo Fighters returned with 'Today's Song' ever since their 2023 album 'But Here We Are'.
Foo Fighters released the new track on the occasion of the band's 30th anniversary.

Dave Grohl
pays tribute to former band members including the recently fired drummer Josh Freese, founding drummer William Goldsmith, guitarist Franz Stahl and, most poignantly, the late drummer
Taylor Hawkins
, who died in 2022, as per Deadline.
In a portion of the letter addressed to Hawkins, Grohl, who apparently plays drums on the new song, writes, "Your name is spoken every day, sometimes with tears, sometimes with a smile, but you are still in everything we do, everywhere we go, forever.
The enormity of your beautiful soul is only rivaled by the infinite longing we feel in your absence. We all miss you beyond words. Foo Fighters will forever include Taylor Hawkins in every note that we play, until we do finally reach our destination.

The new song, described in a press release as the band's "opening salvo of its next chapter," arrives 30 years since the release of Foo Fighters self-titled debut album and is the first new music since Grohl announced last year that he had fathered a daughter outside of his marriage and asked for his family for forgiveness.

In spite of spending four weeks in Netflix's global Top 10 and peaking at rank three with 8.5 million views, the show was canceled over a month ago. The cast and crew of the show, according to another Parade report, have already moved on to new projects. 'The Residence' axed despite star power and high budget Unlike Pulse, cancelation of The Residence was more recent and surprising, the reports stated. The Paul William Davies' creation was a murder mystery featuring an all-star cast of Uzo Aduba, Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Lee and Randall Park. The Shonda Rhimes' production premiered shortly after the breakout success of Adolescence which dominated the charts and overshadowed the series. The Residence, which ranked number 2 in Top 10 charts and recorded 8.8 million views, its massive production budget made a second season financially unviable. Moreover, attempts to lower the budget were unsuccessful. 'No Good Deed' left in lurch The dark comedy anthology No Good Deed is still suspended in the uncertain territory. Created by Liz Feldman, who also made Dead to Me, the show peaked with 6 million views but hasn't yet been renewed. The Deadline report claimed the door was still open for a new concept under the same anthology banner, but for now, its future is shrouded in ambiguity. Gareth Edwards directorial movie first released in theatres across US and overseas on July 2, on the occasion of 250th US Independence Day. A standalone sequel to Jurassic World Dominion (2022), the movie was made on a budget of ₹ 1,550 crore ($180 million). Eying over $250 million global opening over the five-day weekend, this Hollywood movie is the fourth Jurassic World film and the seventh instalment overall in the Jurassic Park franchise. As per Deadline prediction, the film might earn around $120 and $130 million in the US during its first five days. Mixed reactions poured online on Jurassic World Rebirth review, a user remarked, 'When I watched Rebirth today a kid behind me (that was silent and well behaved the entire time) screamed 'Spinosaurus!' Because he was so excited to see them on the big screen.' Another user commented, 'One thing I do like a lot is that (for the most part) the dinos/creatures actually act more like animals. BLACKPINK is slated for their first full-group performance of 2025 and also their first comeback in about three years. The quartet will begin their DEADLINE world tour tomorrow, on June 5, and fans can't wait to see them live. However, on D-2, some Korean resident BLINKs heard their stage practice session from outside Goyang Stadium and shared the alleged setlist with others, leading to mixed reactions by fans. BLACKPINK's probable setlist for DEADLINE World Tour The fans who heard BLACKPINK practice for the DEADLINE concerts on June 3, recorded parts of the session and shared the clips on social media. In the video, snippets from As If It's Your Last and FOREVER YOUNG were heard. The original poster also shared that they also heard the girl group members rehearsing DDU-DU DDU-DU, How You Like That and probably PLAYING WITH FIRE as well. BLINKs who came across the post, mostly criticised the song choices. They are hopeful that the girls might debut some of their unperformed songs along besides performing the popular tracks. Most of them felt that the girl group's discography was really short so chances of an innovative setlist was almost impossible. According to them, "the problem was going on tour without a new album" and it would have been better if they released a new album this year and headed for a tour in 2026.
