Paige Turley and Stevie Jukes are looking forward to bringing all the gossip from the Pride of Scotland red carpet
Love Island star and Saint Phnx singer can't wait to broadcast live from our People's Oscars.
LOVE Island's Paige Turley and Saint Phnx's Stevie Jukes are used to gracing the red carpet but both agree no other awards show will ever top Pride of Scotland.
The bubbly pair, who are red carpet hosts at Monday night's glittering event, will chat to the inspirational winners and celebrity guests as they make their way into Glasgow's Hilton for this year's star-studded ceremony.
Paige and Stevie say they can't wait to bring the nation all the gossip and style live from the red carpet which promises to be one of the most star-studded yet.
It's the first time Stevie, 40, who formed chart toppers Saint Phnx with brother Alan, 37, in 2016, has been on the other side of the mic but says he is suited and booted and raring to go.
The dad-of-two, from Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, said: 'I'm buzzing about Monday night and have had my velvet jacket, shiny shoes and dickie bow looked out for weeks.
'My brother has been ribbing me about it and keeps saying things like 'Here comes big red carpet Steve.' He thinks he is hilarious but just wait until it's his turn to be interviewed!
'It's the first time I have ever done anything like this but I would love to work in radio so this will be good practice as I will have to think on my feet.
'You would think I would be nervous but I'm not. For the past year Alan and I have been doing workshops in schools and trying to sing on a Monday morning in a gold gym hall in front o0 kids pretty much prepares you for anything.'
Stevie, whose new single 'Arabella' - a collaboration with singer Nathan Evans - is out next week, added: 'I'm really looking forward to working with Paige. We met at the Pride of Scotland awards a few years ago when Saint Phnx were performing and we hit it off right away.
'I've been given a sneak peak at all the winners and I can't wait to meet them on the red carpet and put a face to their names.
'The only thing I am a wee bit worried about is recognising the celebrities but I'll just give Paige a wee nudge and hopefully she will tell me who they are.'
This is Paige's fourth year as red carpet host and the singer from Fauldhouse, West Lothian, is looking forward to teaming up with Stevie and being the ying to his yang.
The 27-year-old, who co-hosted last year with Love Island's Laura Anderson, said: 'I'm excited about hosting with Stevie as he is a really lovely guy and hopefully we will compliment each other.
'I'm all about the style and fashion and he can talk to folk about other things. Our job is to put everyone at their ease because the red carpet can be a daunting place, especially for the winners.
'It's my absolutely favourite night of the year as the awards shine a light on people who have been doing so much for others but never seek any recognition.'
Paige, who has been travelling all over Scotland with the Big Shiny Disco Brunch Crew, added: 'I'm bringing my dad with me again this year as he absolutely loves it.
'Two years ago he was carrying my handbag for me and his hero Graeme Souness came across to him and said 'Like your bag big man.' He was stoked.
'I'm also bringing my boyfriend Kieran with me. It will be his first time on a red carpet in Scotland and I know he is going to love it as much as I do.'
From acts of kindness and selfless bravery to raising millions for charity, it's no wonder the Daily Record Pride of Scotland Awards with P&O Cruises is the People's Oscars.
The combination of big hearts and big stars have made our annual awards, which began in 2020 and will once again be compared by Elaine C Smith and Sanjeev Kohli, a runaway success.
Although Stevie, who is dad to Jacob, 18 and Charlie, nine, has never presented at the awards before he has performed twice and knows just how emotional the night can be.
He says he will never forget meeting Child of Courage Zac Gunn, who sadly passed away earlier this month after receiving a long-awaited lung transplant.
Stevie, whose single Happy Place - written after losing his dad to pulmonary fibrosis - topped the Scottish charts in 2021, said: 'That wee boy's cheeky smile will stay with me forever. He was such a funny wee guy and he had an aura which lit up the room.
'My wife is a neonatal midwife at Wishaw General and looked after Zac when he was born. We were both devastated when he passed away.
'We met him when he won his award and we have kept in touch with the family ever since. Like Zac, so many of the Pride of Scotland winners end up leaving a massive impression on your heart.'
He added: 'Last year it was Lochlan Murdoch whose story really impressed me. The teenager has Type 1 diabetes and set up a charity to help educate sports teams and clubs about the condition.
'He's just a wee guy who has taken a difficult scenario in his life and done something positive about it to help others which I find really inspiring.'
Paige, who won season six of Love Island with ex Finley Tapp, admits she will be stocking up on paper hankies before Monday as she always has a good greet.
The singer, who is also a Pride of Scotland judge, said: 'I was blubbing in the judging room and I haven't even met the winners yet.
'So many of the unsung heroes have made a lasting impression on me. People like the beautiful little Mila Sneddon who battled leukaemia and won the heart of the Princess of Wales during lockdown.
'I also love the pure Scottishness of the winners. Where else in the world would you meet a granny who tackled a burglar and a wee pony wearing a kilt?'
Stevie, who is working on a Collaboration album with Nathan Evans and is just back from a joint European tour, recalls the moment he met his hero Rangers goalie Allan McGregor.
He said: 'As everyone knows Alan and I are massive Rangers fans. We met Greegsy at the awards a couple of years ago and ended up having a few drinks with him in the bar afterwards.
'My brother ended up getting Allan to take invisible penalties at him. We ended up becoming friends with him and he invited us into the box at his testimonial.
'We've been out with him a few times now he has publicly admitted Saint Phnx are his favourite band. I've gone to heaven with that one.'
He added: 'Pride has become a very special part of my life and I am honoured to have been asked to be a part of it again this year. There's just something magical about the awards and I can't wait to pull on my suit and go red carpet live.'
We launched our search for our local heroes of 2025 back in January and were inundated with thousands of nominations from across the nation.
Categories include the Emergency Services Award, Teenager of Courage, Young Fundraiser, Outstanding Bravery, the King's Trust Young Achiever, Special Recognition and the P&O Cruises Inspiration Award.
Stars who will be honouring the winners include Sheli McCoy aka Gladiator Sabre, singer Susan Boyle, Star Wars actor Denis Lawson, Braveheart star James Cosmo, singers Nathan Evans, Calum Bowie and Cammy Barnes and Strictly's JJ Chalmers and Dr Punam Krishan.
Love Island's Laura Anderson will be manning the Pride of Scotland bar, First Minister John Swinney will be there to celebrate the best of Scotland and there will be a performance from Britain's Got Talent finalist Vinnie McKee.

'It was such an honour and a privilege to open the show and I felt humbled to be asked to be part of such a special night.' Brian Cox saluting community heroes There were audible gasps when the Succession star nipped in to present Stenhousemuir shopkeepers Asiyah and Jawad Javid with their Special Recognition award. The couple who donated more than £100,000 of food and medical assistance to people in their community since the pandemic were left speechless when he surprised them on stage. The Hollywood actor, who is busy rehearsing for a new play in his hometown of Dundee, said: 'What an amazing couple. Scotland's sense of community is what keeps this nation great. This evening as always has been totally overwhelming and uplifting.' Ups & Downs steal the show The theatre group made up of young people with Down's Syndrome and their siblings brought an extra helping of joy to the night. After picking up the P&O Cruises Inspiration award from Corrie actor Liam Bairstow, Strictly star Dr Punam Krishan and singer Nathan Evans, the incredible group performed a spellbinding rendition of 'This is Me' from hit movie 'The Greatest Showman.' The enchanting group spent the rest of the evening hugging guests, signing autographs and spreading joy wherever they went thanks to their infectious personalities. Ellis Leggatt, from Ups and Downs said: 'It has been the best night ever. We are all so so happy and proud of what we have achieved.' Teenager of Courage gifted with a guitar Georgie Hyslop, 16, who is battling cancer but has channelled her energy into helping others despite her condition, is a massive fan of chart topper James Herriott. So her face was an absolute picture when he gifted her one of his Fender guitars in the press room after the awards. The teenager, who has raised more than £51,000 to help other cancer patients, was overcome with emotion when her musical hero surprised her. James, whose album 'Don't Tell the Dog,' got to number one in the UK charts said: 'Georgie is the strongest person I have ever met. She is the very definition of courage and being here to present her with her award is the least I can do.' Speirs family's Caribbean surprise Duncan, Caroline and Jenna Speirs who run Calum's Cabin - a charity that provides holidays for terminally ill children and their families - won a cruise in a surprise giveaway. The selfless family, who rarely have time to go on holiday, were dumbstruck when they were revealed as the winners of P&O Cruises incredible prize. The trio, who are off on a 14 night cruise around the Caribbean in November, can't wait to catch some winter son on the other side of the world. Caroline said: 'As if winning a Pride of Scotland Special Recognition award wasn't enough already… Duncan nearly had to pick me off the floor I was that shocked and overwhelmed.' Dogs in tuxes Last year there was a little pony in a kilt but on Monday night it was two dogs in tuxedos that were the talk of the red carpet. Troy the fox red golden retriever looked dapper in his dickie bow as he accompanied owner Stewart Miller, winner of the Outstanding Bravery award. Troy was presented with a special dog tag after aiding Stewart in the rescue of a woman who was drowning in the River Tay during a storm. Trainee assistance dog Blu, who belongs to King's Trust Young Achiever Ashleigh, was also sporting a jazzy tux and became a fan favourite with the guests. Gladiator Sabre hailing Young Fundraiser Sheli McCoy told seven-year-old Theo Hardie he was a real life Gladiator after running 100 miles to raise money for his little brother's wheelchair. The weightlifting champion said she had even come up with a name for him - 'Centurion' - as a nod to him completing his incredible fundraising challenge. Sheli said: 'Theo is a real life Gladiator - his strength, determination and empathy for others makes him a champion in my eyes. The bond he has with his gorgeous little brother is very special. He has the heart of a warrior and he is only seven.' First Minister honours Sir Chris Hoy Scotland's First Minister John Swinney hailing cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy as Scotland's Champion had everyone reaching for the tissues. The FM said the six time Olympic gold medallist, who is refusing to let his terminal cancer diagnosis get him down, is a legend both in and out of the saddle. Swinney said: 'Sir Chris is an absolute sporting legend who has achieved so much but then in the face of adversity has demonstrated the strength and resolve which is of course so characteristic of all of the Pride of Scotland winners.' Red carpet malfunction Love Island's Paige Turley stayed calm despite suffering from a wardrobe mishap in the taxi on the way to the event. The singer, who was hosting this year's Red Carpet Live alongside Stevie Jukes of Saint Phnx, gasped after discovering her long sequin gown had split at the bum. But Paige took it all in her stride and kept on talking while a member of the crew sewed her back into her dress. She said: 'It was my boyfriend who spotted the split. Thank goodness we got it fixed before folk started to arrive. Pride of Scotland is my favourite event of the year.' Grand Finale The inspirational show was rounded off with hosts Elaine C Smith and Sanjeev Kohli inviting all the winners to return to the stage. There was a cocophony of cheers and a ten minute standing ovation for the incredible unsung heroes, who continued to party with the stars into the wee small hours. Elaine C Smith said: 'These awards are a reminder to everyone that there is still so much good in the world with folk looking out for their neighbours and going above and beyond to help others in their communities. 'The room was filled to the rafters with 'angels' who are quietly making a massive difference to the world. Seeing them all together on the the stage at the end lifted my soul and warmed my heart.'

Big hearted family win a Caribbean cruise at Pride of Scotland Awards
The Speirs who run cancer charity Calum's Cabin scoop an exciting P&O Cruise at our People's Oscars The Speirs who have provided holidays for 3000 terminally ill children and their families scooped the trip of a lifetime at the Pride of Scotland awards. Duncan, 63, Caroline, 58 and their daughter Jenna, 30, who run charity Calum's Cabin, won a luxury Caribbean getaway courtesy of award sponsors P&O Cruises. The trio were left speechless when they were revealed as the winners of the 14 night cruise at the glittering ceremony last Monday night. The family, who built a network of holiday homes and flats in memory of their son Calum, have spent the last 14 years giving sick kids and their families a much needed break. So it seems fitting that thanks to P&O Cruises they will now be able to enjoy some time away together making memories of their own. The Speirs, whose son Calum died of an inoperable brain tumour in 2007, will set sail from Barbados on MS Arvia on a 14 day jaunt round the Caribbean with stops in St Lucia, Martinique, Grenada, St Kitts & Nevis, the Virgin Islands, Antigua and Saint Maarten. The family, who had picked up a Special Recognition Award earlier in the night from actor David Hayman and presenter Jean Johansson couldn't hide their astonishment when the announcement was heralded by a troupe of colourful Caribbean dancers and steel drummers. Caroline, said: 'As if winning a Pride of Scotland Special Recognition award wasn't enough already. We were shocked and absolutely astounded when our faces were revealed on the big screen. We are blown away and still can't believe it. A big thank you to P&O Cruises.'

The couples faced the ultimate test as the girls were moved to a new location and a whole new set of bombshells entered. The host of the show - and former Vanderpump Rules star - Ariana Madix explained: "Think of it as starting from scratch." At the end of the week, the islanders decided whether to stick with their original partners or twist the relationships with their new connections. Viewers have since said goodbye to four of the contestants who have been left single by the twist. The show's official Instagram account posted a snap of the four dumped bombshells. Alongside the glam group shot, it wrote:"Casa Amor is officially over, and we're saying goodbye to CoCo, JD, Vanna and Zac. Wishing them all the best!" However, fans have since been left absolutely fuming as they think that CoCo deserved more time on Love Island. As droves of fans flooded the comments section, they practically begged bosses to put her back into the villa or into the next season.
