Strictly Come Dancing sensation Fleur East has tantalisingly hinted at a dream career direction she's eyeing.
The versatile 37-year-old, who found fame on The X Factor and dazzled as a finalist on the 2022 season of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, has also been charming listeners as a co-host on BBC Two's It Takes Two and entertaining the nation since 2019 as the presenter of The Hits Radio Breakfast Show.
Adding to her already sparkling résumé, Fleur is set to take centre stage as Tina Turner in the acclaimed West End musical starting this June.
Chatting with Express Online, Fleur reflected on her remarkable journey to date and shared her aspirations for even more riveting roles.

She said: "I feel like in terms of career, I feel like I've got a bit of the acting bug now. I feel maybe to do more like TV or film, I'd love to do a film. I'd love to play like a powerful woman, like a superhero, or something like that. I'd love to do that."
Addressing advice she would impart to her younger self, Fleur added: "One regret I would say I have is that I was so nervous and so worried about what people would think of me.
"I was so scared of rejection for many years that I didn't step out and do the things that I wanted to do.

"I wasn't brave enough for many years. And then the moment that I found the courage, I stepped into what I feel like I was always meant to do, and I loved every second of it."
Fleur East has opened up about her Strictly experience, sharing that the salsa presented a huge challenge. She shared: "I think one of the most challenging was probably the salsa. So many lifts, and I was quite fearful of the lifts."

She detailed an extra level of fear when performing the salsa, aware that as well as the technique there was multiple lifts, reports the Express.
Along with her acting hopes, the 37-year-old is set to take to the stage this summer at Ben & Jerry's Sundaes in the Park Festival.
Strictly Come Dancing is set to return later this year.

Vicky Pattison 'set to join Strictly Come Dancing line-up after wowing bosses'

Vicky Pattison has reportedly been offered a spot on this year's Strictly Come Dancing. The reality TV star, 37, is said to have caught the attention of producers when she cheered on pal Pete Wicks from the audience during last year's series - and now bosses are keen to bring her centre stage. A source told The Sun: 'Vicky loved watching Pete on the series and was in awe of the detail that goes into every performance. 'She has great energy and will no doubt be a hit with the viewers. 'Vicky's done plenty of reality shows but is ready to be out of her comfort zone on the dance floor.' MailOnline has contacted representatives for Strictly Come Dancing and Vicky for comment. The Geordie lass rose to fame in 2011 on MTV's Geordie Shore, becoming known for her wild nights out and on-screen flings. But Vicky turned things around and went on to be crowned I'm A Celebrity's Queen of the Jungle in 2015, a moment she's since called the 'best thing' she's ever done. Last year, the Newcastle-born star revealed that wouldn't say no to Strictly, but admitted dancing wasn't her strong suit. She told the publication: 'When I found out Pete was doing it, I called him straight away to check he was alright. 'Because me and him are more 'stand in the corner, drink and have a laugh' than the 'centre of the dance floor' people.' She added that as she's got older, she knows she should be pushing herself out of her comfort zone. The rumour comes after Strictly bosses announced the professional lineup for this year's show and revealed there will be two brand new dancers joining. Dianne Buswell, who lifted the glitter ball in December with Chris McCausland, will be joining Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk and Jowita Przystal in returning to the dance floor this September. They will be joined by Johannes Radebe, Aljaž Škorjanec, Nancy Xu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola who will all take to the floor once more alongside two new stars, who will be announced closer to the time. Amy Dowden, who pulled out in the opening weeks of last year's show due to a foot injury, will also be back on Strictly for 2025, as will Carlos Gu and Kai Widdrington, who didn't have a celebrity partner last year. Despite rumours that he might be making a return after missing out on last year's series, Giovanni Pernice will not be heading back to the ballroom this time around. Sarah James, Executive Producer, BBC Studios said : 'The excitement is already building ahead of the new series and in addition to welcoming back our fantastic returning Pros, we are looking forward to welcoming two brand new Professional Dancers to the line up who will help bring another unforgettable series of dazzling dance and loads more besides to viewers later in 2025.' As well as the pros taking part in the competition itself, all of them will be taking to the floor each week in group routines. MailOnline previously revealed that Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen will return to the BBC show this year. It was rumoured that the programme's longest-serving dancer was axed by bosses, sparking an 'ageism' row among the cast but it has been confirmed that the star, 42, will be back as normal when the series returns in September. Karen, who joined the lineup in 2012, is yet to win the glitter ball trophy but has reached several finals including with celebrity partners Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing and former TOWIE star Mark Wright. Last year, Karen was partnered with former footballer Paul Merson, 57, but the pair were eliminated in week five and the previous season the dancer performed with DJ Eddie Kadi. A TV source told MailOnline: 'Karen is a well loved and respected member of the Strictly cast and there's no way she would be axed, especially not because of her age. 'She has dedicated years to the programme and can't wait to get back in the training room with a new partner in the next coming months.' Following speculation surrounding whether she would axed from the long running series due to being in her 40s, Karen spoke about not being 'threatened' by younger competitors. Indeed, she said performing alongside new joiners makes her feel empowered and she is 'inspired' by the younger generation.

Love Island Casa Amor girls line-up revealed - featuring Harry's ex

Love Island has confirmed the girls line-up for Casa Amor as the villa prepares to split the girls and boys in hopes to test relationships and form new connections... The 2025 Love Island Villa is preparing for the come back on the highly-anticipated Casa Amor on Sunday evening (July 6) as the girls and the boys will be split and couples will be tested. Casa Amor is once agains set to put relationships to the test as well as promising to bring high levels of drama. At the end of Friday's episode, viewers were treated to a teaser of what's to come and naturally, there was a major twist. ‌ The episode ended with six female bombshells making a dramatic entrance onto the terrace- while the original girls were still inside the villa. The credits rolled as the stunned islanders looked on, with the new arrivals waving down to the boys. ‌ But the biggest shock came when Harry glanced up and uttered: "That's my ex." Now the Casa girls line-up has been announced, and it has been confirmed that was indeed Harry's ex. Emma Munro Starting the Casa Amor line-up is Emma Munro, a 30-year-old hydrogeologist from Norwich. She was previously in a relationship with original Islander Harry, who is now coupled up with Helena. Despite having history with Harry, Emma has her eyes on three different Islanders. Speaking to Love Island producers, she stated: "I'd say I've got my eye on a few. I think Conor, Harrison and Ben are my top three but I think I just need to get in there and see what the vibe is with everyone. You just never know." ‌ She's keen to get in the villa and explore connections with "all the boys" and is extremely open minded, rather than having a game plan. Yasmin Broom Yasmin Broom, who also goes by the name Yaz, is a 26-year-old DJ from Manchester. Speaking about entering the villa, Yaz says she doesn't have a game plan but she does know what she wants and who she wants. ‌ She said: "I have my eye on three boys: Harrison, Tommy and Conor. They all seem like they treat women really well, and they have nice personalities and nice bodies." Yaz was also apart of the girl band Four of Diamonds, who competed in the 13th season of The X Factor, so the music enthusiast is no stranger to TV. Rheo Parnell ‌ Next on the Casa line-up is Rheo Parnell, she is a 26-year-old ring girl from Neneaton. She has connections to past Islander Messy Mitch from season 10, as she is best friends with his girlfriend. She has her eyes firmly set on 22-year-old Harrison. She remarked: "He's cheeky and has a bit about him. I've noticed that he likes a bit of role play, which is interesting." "He keeps getting people to get up and act stuff out which is so jokes. I like his imagination." ‌ Lucy Quinn 21-year-old Lucy Quinn is the youngest of all six Casa Amor girls, she is a make-up artist from Liverpool. She is keen to get to know Tommy, after watching him on screens for the past month, even saying her dad likes him. She stated: "I want to find someone. I have my eye on one boy, Tommy. I think he's just a lovely lad and he's got good morals. I've been watching at home with my mum and dad. My dad said 'I think you should pick him.' So I want to listen to my dad on that one." ‌ Lucy also has a semi-famous relative, former X Factor star Ray Quinn, who came second place on the show in 2006 behind Leona Lewis. Lauren Wood Lauren Wood is a 26-year-old dog walker from York, and like most of the Casa girls she has her eyes on Harrison. Speaking about her game plan she said: "To win Harrison over. He is so my type. There are a couple of guys that take my fancy, but Harrison is the one I'm going in for." ‌ She is also keen on Dejon, but not sure if he is worth her while, saying: "Dejon is beautiful but I'm just not sure whether he's trustworthy... I think he thinks that no one can hear him when he goes on these dates, when actually he says different things to Meg,so I'd be very wary of him though he's beautiful to look at." Andrada Pop The final Casa girl is Andrada Pop, a 27-year-old personal trainer from Dublin. She seems set on what she wants and isn't afraid to get it, speaking about her game plan, she said: "My first instinct is to turn heads. I am bold and I do want to get what I want, but I also want to find love." ‌ "So hopefully the person that I do manage to get on with I can build a nice connection with. I want to find 'the one.' I'm going to come in with a little bit of spice for sure." Similar to most of the girls, Andrada has her eyes on Tommy, Harrison and Dejon.
