Governor couple prays at Tirumala
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board chairman B R Naidu and TTD executive officer J Syamala Rao welcomed the Governor couple at the hill shrine and Vedic pundits greeted them at Sri Vari temple with Isthikaphal, before Abdul Nazeer's entourage offered prayers at the Dwajasthambam and worshipped the Lord inside the temple.
After darshan, the Governor was accorded Ashirvachanam amidst Vedic chants at Ranganayakula Mandapam and was presented with temple prasadams.
On this occasion, the TTD chairman presented a portrait of Lord Venkateswara to the Governor. Later, the Governor left for Renigunta airport at noon and left for Gannavaram.

Newlyweds, pregnant women, doctors, experts in the fields of education and psychology were also present at the event. At the event, a calendar especially prepared for pregnant women was released by the Governor in the presence of Women and Child Welfare Minister Bhanuben Babaria, Gandhinagar Mayor Miraben Patel, Gandhinagar District Panchayat President Shilpaben Patel, Gandhinagar (North) MLA Ritaben Patel and Children's Research University Vice Chancellor TS Joshi.

VIPs should visit the Tirumala only once a year: Venkaiah
Tirumala: For the convenience of common devotees, former Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu has suggested that VIPs should visit Tirumala only once in a year to have darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. Naidu had darshan of the Lord along with his family members on Monday. After the darshan, he was offered Veda Aseervachanam by the Vedic scholars at the Ranga Nayakula Mandapam, while the TTD additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary presented teerthaprasadams. Later, speaking to the media in front of the temple, the former Vice President said that the space and time available for darshan of the deity is limited despite the good arrangements made by TTD made for the devotees. Under these circumstances, if VIPs visit Tirumala along with their family only once in a year, there will be no problem to the temple management, he opined. He informed that all public representatives should follow this in the larger interests of the common devotees. TTD Trust Board member G Bhanu Prakash Reddy, temple deputy EO Lokanatham, peishkar Ramakrishna and other officials were also present.

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu offers prayers at Tirumala temple
Tirumala, July 28 (UNI) Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Kannada actor Shivraj Kumar, director M Gopichand, and MLAs Yashaswini Reddy and Sridhar visited the Tirumala temple today and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. Naidu was received by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials at the temple entrance and later offered Theertha Prasadam after darshan. Later, speaking to the media, Naidu praised the quality and hygiene of the Anna Prasadam served at the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba centre, calling it an inspiration for other temples. He stressed that offerings made by devotees should be used solely for religious and spiritual purposes, including the improving the facilities for pilgrims. He proposed that every village should have both a school and a temple—reflecting a balanced focus on education by the government and on spiritual infrastructure by religious bodies like the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Naidu also urged VIPs to limit their temple visits to once a year, allowing greater access for ordinary devotees.
