Films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1 and December 31, 2023, are eligible for this year's awards.
Hindi films such as 'Pathaan' and 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', Telugu hits like 'Sita Ramam', and Tamil successes including 'Jailer' were among the noted releases. Meanwhile, Malayalam films like 'Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam' also made significant impacts during the year.
