The Metropolitan Police has said it will not pursue prosecution after videos emerged in April appearing to show Kneecap calling for the death of MPs.
It comes after the BBC confirmed that an 'edited' version of the Belfast rap trio's Glastonbury performance has been uploaded to its on-demand iPlayer platform.

Wimbledon fans make feelings clear after change to BBC coverage - 'It stinks'

Wimbledon fans tuning into the competition on Monday were not totally happy with the BBC's coverage of Carlos Alcaraz's tense first round win against Fabio Fogini Wimbledon fans have been left torn after spotting a major update to the competition's iconic scoreboard on the BBC. The latest edition of the competition got underway in SW19 on Monday. Reigning men's champion Carlos Alcaraz was among those in action as he took on Italian star Fabio Fogini. And fans tuning into the game were left surprised as they noticed a subtle tweak to the BBC's live coverage. ‌ Usually, the channel's coverage displays the scoreboard as the number of sets won per player, as well as the scores in the one currently in play. That is at odds with the coverage of the Australian Open, French Open and US Open that displays the scores in each set. But this time around, the BBC brought their coverage in line with other tournaments by displaying each set's scores. And fans struggled to make their minds up over whether the change was positive or not. One said: "Sacred grass, classy whites. Tennis' purest theatre. It's Wimbledon time. With sleek new scoreboard graphics,' another said: " Wimbledon score graphics are so fresh. Minimalist, elegant and instantly iconic." Some fans were completely against the change however. One fan wrote on Twitter: "The new Wimbledon graphic stinks,' with another adding: 'New Wimbledon score graphics? Not sure I like it…' The scoring was not the only alteration, with the player's names also being listed in seeding order. While the new graphics got fans talking, the main headline was certainly the tennis. Alcaraz only just squeezed through against Fogini, winning three sets to two, while a fan also fainted in the middle of the pair's showdown. The reigning men's singles champion offered his water bottle in an effort to aide her recovery. ‌ Alcaraz has now been sent a warning by Oliver Tarvot, who he will take on in the next round. He said: 'As a kid, it's what you dream of. I came here when I was a little kid. It's what you work for. Obviously, it's a pretty long-term goal. 'But for it to happen so suddenly has been really special. I've come here and not really set myself any expectations. I'm quietly confident that I can win against anyone. Alcaraz isn't an exception to that. 'Obviously, he's done an incredible amount in the tennis world. He's a difficult guy not to respect. But just go out there and try and treat it like another match.' Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content. Acts such as Rod Stewart and Beth Gibbons have seen their sales increase by over 100%, with many more experiencing 'the bump'. HMV has exclusively revealed some of those artists who have benefitted from performing at Worthy Farm this year, including one artist who sold out of stock at the Oxford Street store. Are you familiar with the Glastonbury Bump? Sometimes known as the 'Somerset Sales Spike', it is exactly as it sounds. Akin to managers who take over a football club , it's a period of renewed success for artists after stunning performances at Worthy Farm each year, eliciting more album sales by gracing the stages in Pilton. That bump continues in 2025, with HMV providing exclusive data this afternoon showing just who benefitted the most from performing at this year's event, with Phil Halliday, Managing Director at hmv and Fopp , stating that 'Glastonbury continues to prove year-on-year to be one of best showcases for artists new and old, as we see a sales boost across the board for the performers who take to the stage.' Alanis Morissette , another hallowed name from the annuls of music history, also saw sales of her celebrated album Jagged Little Pill increase by 95%, while Beth Gibbons , lead singer of electronic 90s band Portishead, saw sales of her solo material increase a glorious 600% following a stunning performance on the Park Stage. Who else benefitted from The Glastonbury Bump? Surprise act Lewis Capaldi and headliner Olivia Rodrigo continue their ascent to superstardom, both seeing significant album sales boosts after their impressive Glastonbury sets. Capaldi's main stage appearance led to a massive 159% increase in his album sales, while Rodrigo's festival-closing performance resulted in a sweet 35% uplift. Elsewhere, RAYE , the record-breaking Brit Awards winner, dazzled on the Pyramid Stage, with her classy performance driving a 225% rise in her album sales. Lorde surprised Glastonbury crowds with a performance of her newest album, Virgin, released that same day. A host of talented up-and-coming artists also captivated new fans. Following her recent Best Rap Album win at the Grammys, Doechii's energetic and theatrical 45-minute set saw her catalogue sales jump by 152%. CMAT , fresh from opening Sam Fender's arena tour, impressed with her engaging performance, leading to a 163% uplift. Finally, English musician Self Esteem saw her catalogue sales rise by 85%. I partied with celebs at Glasto & caught Harry Styles snogging mystery girl – this is what VIP area is REALLY like

THE clock is ticking towards 2.30am on Sunday, and I'm standing in a VIP boozer at Glastonbury watching Davina McCall throwing shapes on the dancefloor. She was having the time of her life with her pals and partner Michael Douglas - who all had far more energy than I did at that time of night. 8 8 8 8 TV presenter Davina went unnoticed by other revellers, as did the even more famous man who was dancing just a few feet away from them - pop superstar Harry Styles. Although that may be because he was tucked away wearing a grey jumper with his shades on, locking lips for 12 seconds with a frizzy-haired young woman. I captured the passionate moment on camera after my colleague and I spotted former One Direction singer Harry, 31, shuffling into the bar moments earlier. They had arrived separately but seemed to already be well-acquainted. Might this have been going on for longer, or was it just a Glastonbury romance? Time will tell. I saw them holding hands as they made their way to the dancefloor, where they partied discreetly with the music pumping, before kissing and then going their separate ways for the evening. The bar itself - the name of which I'll keep a secret - is full of bright lights while the dance area is just a tiny, dark room. It has a cool vibe and is one of the most popular haunts among celebs. Most importantly, it has plenty of booze and good tunes to keep them going. There are certainly more luxurious VIP areas on Worthy Farm, though, and all of them are swarming with A-listers. I'm fortunate enough to get access to these places through my job. And one of the things that strikes me most about this weird and wonderful festival is that so many of those stars can party all day and night without even being spotted. Even when it is supermodel Cara Delevingne, who was walking around Silvers Bar in the hospitality area in a Robbie Williams-inspired bright red Adidas tracksuit on Sunday night. Or Hollywood star Paul Mescal and his American singer girlfriend Gracie Abrams - who performed on the Other Stage on Friday - out raving in one tent in the early hours. There was one moment when I was sitting on a bench outside Silvers Bar, sipping a cider and people watching, when I turned around to see Davina and her pals had perched themselves alongside me. Many celebs will stop for selfies with fans, some won't. I had actually bumped into Harry on Friday evening, chatting away to lots of people and shaking their hands. I thought I would ask him for a quick selfie to add to the Glastonbury scrapbook. He replied, in the most polite tone: "Do you mind if we don't?" Harry then asked for my name and shook my hand before continuing with his evening. It was only a very brief encounter, but he was one of the most well-mannered and charming celebs I have met. You can see why fans - and no doubt the woman he was kissing - adore him. He has got it all: the looks, the style, the talent and personality. This was Harry's first time at Glastonbury, but hopefully it will not be his last. Next year is a fallow year, so roll on 2027. Hopefully I'll have recovered by then. 8 8
