What To Know
The contest is open to everyone, with no limit on the number of votes you can cast.
The options are varied and include fun choices like Star Wars droids, Disney villains, Mister Rogers, and even Bugs Bunny-themed stamps. Other options celebrate major American milestones and historic events, like the Transcontinental Railroad and the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863.

What People Are Saying
Postmaster General and CEO David Steiner said in a statement: "On July 26th, we proudly observe the 250th Anniversary of the United States Postal Service and mark two and a half centuries of service to the American public. In 1775, our Founding Fathers recognized the importance of creating an institution that could bind the nation together and foster secure and accessible communications between every community in America. The rich and enduring history of the Postal Service demonstrates the strength of their wisdom, and we look forward to providing reliable, affordable, and universal service for generations to come."
What Happens Next
Voting is now open through September 30 and can be conducted online or by mail.
The winning stamp pane will be revealed in May 2026 at the Boston 2026 World Expo, coinciding with national celebrations marking 250 years since the founding of the United States. Until then, the results will remain under wraps.

Min Woo Lee Cooks Golf With Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner amid PGA Tour Break
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. After a grueling major season, golf professionals are finally catching their breath. Days ago, five-time major winner, Rory McIlroy, was spotted partying on a yacht in Saint-Tropez, with a champagne in hand. Now, another PGA Tour winner has stolen the spotlight with a different kind of celebration. The newest Texas Children's Houston Open champion, Min Woo Lee, who is currently enjoying his PGA Tour break, was spotted at a star-studded party in West Hollywood, Calif., on Thursday. But what made it special was Lee's cooking (golf swing) snaps alongside Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber. (Image Credits: @lilbieber/Instagram) Instagram The event, hosted by Spotify in collaboration with Bieber's newly launched fashion label Skylrk, doubled as a listening party for his surprise album Swag. The album, released on July 11, is Bieber's first studio drop in four years. Interestingly, the pictures shared by the 31-year-old pop singer on Saturday also captured Kendall Jenner dressed in all black, swinging a club barefoot. Lee, who's earned the nickname "Chef" for his flair both on and off the course, later commented on Justin's typing, "The Best." The PGA Tour pro's appearance at Bieber's party wasn't just a one-off. Lee and the pop star icon struck up a friendship earlier this year. It went viral after the Aussie golfer snagged his Houston Open title, where he held off Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland to clinch his first PGA Tour title with a final score of 20-under. The 'Sorry' singer FaceTimed Lee after the victory and posted a congratulatory message on Instagram. The 'Chef' later reposted it on his own Instagram story, captioning it, "J frickin B." In an interview with the PGA Australia, Lee also shared how both of them are fanboys of each other. "The thing is he (Justin Bieber) fanboys kind of over me, but obviously I'm fanboying over him," Lee told the Australian media four months ago. The 27-year-old also revealed how Bieber would share videos of his swing, and he would critique it. The recent snaps reveal how fast their relationship has grown from there. Joe Rogan Responds to South Park's Mocking of Trump: 'Hilarious'
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Podcaster Joe Rogan responded to the Season 27 premiere of South Park, which mocked President Donald Trump, during a recent episode of his podcast, describing it as "hilarious" and saying it is "the greatest show of all time." Newsweek has reached out to a representative for Rogan via email for comment outside of regular working hours. Why It Matters Rogan endorsed Trump in the 2024 presidential election, interviewing him on his podcast and later attending his inauguration. Saul Loeb - Pool/Getty Images/for Paramount+ Rogan has recently joined a cacophony of angry voices who have spoken out against Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Justice Department's handling of its findings from the investigation into sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump's fan base has been in revolt since the DOJ released a two-page memo earlier this month, which said they had found "no incriminating 'client list'" after an "exhaustive review" of government documents related to the case. What To Know During Friday's episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan was joined by Mike Baker, and they discussed the Trump administration's handling of documents relating to Epstein. While they were discussing the "chaos" of current politics, Rogan brought up the South Park episode. The episode titled "Sermon on the Mount" depicts Trump in bed with Satan, complaining about the size of his penis, and arguing with the Canadian prime minister. The episode also referenced the "Epstein list," the alleged list of clients involved in convicted sex offender Epstein's sex trafficking operation. "There's so much chaos, there's so much madness," Rogan said, before asking Baker if he had seen the South Park episode. "They did a Donald Trump on with Satan." "It's f****** hilarious," he said. "They haven't given a f*** since the beginning, and it's the greatest show of all time," Rogan said. South Park's creators took the stage at Comic-Con in California shortly after the episode—and the ensuing slew of headlines about it—aired. The two were asked by panel moderator Josh Horowitz if they had been following the reaction to the show. Parker jokingly responded: "We're terribly sorry." What People Are Saying White House Spokesperson Taylor Rogers told Rolling Stone on Thursday morning that South Park: "Hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention. President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country's history—and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump's hot streak." What's Next The Season 27 premiere of South Park came after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus of the show, and came a day after the show's creators Parker and Stone had reached a $1.5 billion streaming deal with Paramount. They signed a reported $900 million deal to extend South Park to Season 30, which should take the show up to 2027. The 26th season featured six episodes, so this season may take a similar format.

Couple Adopt Puppy From Shelter, DNA Reveals Unbelievable Mix
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. When dog owner Milly, from Ohio, posted photos of her 5-month-old dog Bess online, she wasn't expecting the flood of admiration that followed. "We keep getting asked if she is a 'designer dog' but we really just lucked out with the shelter," the owner said in a Reddit post with thousands of upvotes and more than 100 comments. An unusual mix of Siberian husky and golden retriever, Bess has the classic markings of a husky with unmistakable long fur and floppy ears of a golden retriever. Bess is more than just photogenic. She's the emotional bridge for Ellie, Milly's 6-year-old German shepherd who had suffered years of abuse under a backyard breeder. When Ellie arrived at the family's home in 2024, she had endured multiple litters and was emotionally struggling. "Ellie would howl and cry every time she saw a puppy, so we decided she needed one of her own. We began searching through the local shelter websites and came across Bess' litter in April of 2025," Milly, who didn't give a surname, told Newsweek. Pictures of Bess, the unusual mixed breed who often gets mistaken for a designer dog. Pictures of Bess, the unusual mixed breed who often gets mistaken for a designer dog. OhioIsForCats/Reddit Bess and her litter were born at our local Humane Society and were featured at an adoption event in May. They didn't last long as her entire litter was adopted out within 30 minutes. "We knew from the website that she was a retriever mix, and the coloring showed she was likely some type of husky as well," Milly said. "We did a doggy DNA swab and found that she is 50 percent golden retriever with the rest being mostly Siberian husky and a little border collie, as well." In the comments on Reddit, people couldn't get enough of Bess' unusual looks. "Wow! She's gorgeous!!! Those markings and that face," said one commenter. While another said: "So cute. 50 percent golden, 50 percent husky, 110 percent shedding machine." Beyond the aesthetics, Bess is a sweet soul. She's already mastered five speech buttons to communicate with her humans—and has a penchant for full-body tail wags any time she spots someone new. "She's too cute not to share. The reactions online were very similar to what we see in-person: absolute gushing over her cuteness," Milly said. "It's lovely to see how much people love Bess. She is not only a beautiful puppy, but she is so sweet and smart, too." This isn't the first time a rare dog breed mix has impressed people online. A half basset hound and half English bulldog captured viral attention previously on Reddit, while another unusual breed mix left people guessing after the owner shared pictures on the internet.
