‘He's just out there': Grandmother very concerned about Clayton State student missing from hospital
Kathy Traylor said she is not well, and she wants the public's help finding him.
'I haven't eaten. He's just out there,' she told Channel 2s Tom Jones, fighting back tears.
Traylor says she desperately wants to find her 19-year-old grandson, Eric Pitts Jr.

'He might hurt himself or somebody might hurt him. I don't know 'cause he's out of his mind,' she said.
Pitts hasn't been seen since police say he was taken to Southern Regional hospital early Wednesday for a mental health evaluation.
Traylor says a nurse who was with him explained what happened when he got there.
'She said he said he had to use the bathroom. And as he was walking towards the bathroom, he jetted out the double doors,' she said.
He had on green hospital scrubs and no shoes.
This all began after Traylor says she learned her grandson exhibited erratic behavior in his campus dorm.
She called campus counselors and police, and they went to his room. Traylor says a counselor told her what was going to happen next.
'She said Eric is going under 1013 so we can go ahead and find out what's going on,' she said.
Traylor said she was told he was going to a mental health facility. She says she was surprised to find out he was at Southern Regional.
'They should have said Southern Regional. Then I could have went. So they wasn't communicating,' Traylor said.
She said she just wants her grandson home safe and sound.
'I don't know what's going on with my baby. I don't know,' Traylor said.
She says she raised her grandson and noticed him starting to change a few months ago.
Clayton County police are asking anyone who sees him or know where he is to contact them.

Gunmen kill at least 6 in attack on court building in Iran
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates -- DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Unknown attackers launched a gun and grenade attack on a court building in southeast Iran Saturday, killing six people including a child and wounding 20, state TV reported. The report said security forces killed three of the gunmen in the armed clash in the country's restive southern province of Sistan and Baluchestan. It did not identify any of the victims. State TV said the attack happened in the province's capital city of Zahedan. Police and security forces immediately took control of the site, 1,130 kilometers or 700 miles southeast of the capital, Tehran. A report by the semiofficial Tasnim news agency, believed to be close to security forces, blamed the attack on the militant group Jaish al-Adl, which wants independence for Iran's eastern Sistan and Pakistan's southwestern Baluchistan provinces. The province, bordering Afghanistan and Pakistan, has been the site of occasional deadly clashes involving militant groups, armed drug smugglers and Iranian security forces. In October, an attack on an Iranian police convoy in the province killed at least 10 officers. Sistan and Baluchistan province is one of the least developed parts of Iran. Relations between the predominantly Sunni Muslim residents of the region and Iran's Shiite theocracy have long been strained.

Feds charge SoCal medical workers with interfering in ICE raid
Two staff members from an Ontario surgery center have been charged with allegedly interfering with U.S. immigration officers trying to detain landscapers who ran into the center to escape. Jose de Jesus Ortega, a 38-year-old Highland resident, was arrested Friday morning and is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Riverside, according to a U.S. attorney's office Central District of California news release. Officials are still looking for the other suspect, Danielle Nadine Davila, 33, of Corona. Both are charged with assaulting a federal officer and conspiracy to prevent by force and intimidation a federal officer from discharging his duties, authorities said. According to video obtained by KTLA-TV, staffers at the Ontario Advanced Surgical Center earlier this month told two agents to leave because they didn't have a warrant to go onto the property. The agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement were trying to detain 30-year-old Denis Guillen-Solis and two other landscapers who had been working outside and ran into the surgical center when the agents showed up. In the video, Guillen-Solis is shown holding onto the doorway at the surgical center and asking the agents to present identification. The agents then pulled Guillen-Solis from the doorway and detained him. 'The illegal alien arrested inside the surgery center was not a patient. He ran inside for cover and these defendants attempted to block his apprehension by assaulting our agents," said U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli in a statement. According to an affidavit, the two ICE agents wore government-issued equipment, including vests and were using unmarked government-operated vehicles when they conducted their operations. The agents followed a truck with three men inside and approached them after the men exited the truck in the parking lot of the surgery center, according to the release. Two of the men ran away and one of them, an alleged undocumented immigrant from Honduras, was detained near the surgery center's front entrance and tried to pull away, causing the ICE officer to fall to the ground. A medical staffer helped the man off the ground and pulled him away from the officer, according to the news release. The man went into the surgery center and was chased by the ICE agent, who eventually stopped him. The incident occurred amid an extraordinary immigration enforcement effort by the Trump administration in Southern California. Former deputy sentenced to 16 months in prison for 2022 beating of inmate in Camden County Jail
A former Camden County Sheriff's Office deputy sheriff and jail corporal has been sentenced to 16 months in prison for assaulting a pretrial detainee in 2022. Ryan Robert Biegel, now 27, of Kingsland, Georgia, pleaded guilty on Jan. 28 to using unreasonable force against the detainee, according to a news release from the Department of Justice. >>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<< Action News Jax first told you in November 2022 about the release of a video showing the September 2022 beating of Jarrett Hobbs from Greensboro, North Carolina, in the Camden County Jail. The DOJ said the incident occurred on September 3, 2022, when Biegel and two other correctional officers entered the holding cell where Hobbs was detained.
