‘He's just out there': Grandmother very concerned about Clayton State student missing from hospital

A grandmother says she is worried sick after her grandson ran out of local hospital and hasn't been seen since. The Clayton State University student was there for a mental health evaluation. Kathy Traylor said she is not well, and she wants the public's help finding him. 'I haven't eaten. He's just out there,' she told Channel 2s Tom Jones, fighting back tears. Traylor says she desperately wants to find her 19-year-old grandson, Eric Pitts Jr. RELATED STORY: Clayton Co. 19-year-old missing after walking away from hospital in 'delusional state,' police say 'He might hurt himself or somebody might hurt him. I don't know 'cause he's out of his mind,' she said. Pitts hasn't been seen since police say he was taken to Southern Regional hospital early Wednesday for a mental health evaluation. Traylor says a nurse who was with him explained what happened when he got there. 'She said he said he had to use the bathroom. And as he was walking towards the bathroom, he jetted out the double doors,' she said. He had on green hospital scrubs and no shoes. This all began after Traylor says she learned her grandson exhibited erratic behavior in his campus dorm. She called campus counselors and police, and they went to his room. Traylor says a counselor told her what was going to happen next. 'She said Eric is going under 1013 so we can go ahead and find out what's going on,' she said. Traylor said she was told he was going to a mental health facility. She says she was surprised to find out he was at Southern Regional. 'They should have said Southern Regional. Then I could have went. So they wasn't communicating,' Traylor said. She said she just wants her grandson home safe and sound. 'I don't know what's going on with my baby. I don't know,' Traylor said. She says she raised her grandson and noticed him starting to change a few months ago. Clayton County police are asking anyone who sees him or know where he is to contact them. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on another date night in Palm Beach? See the video

Another Traylor sighting in the 561! Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift stepped out again Wednesday for dinner at Buccan in Palm Beach roughly a week after being spotted at Harry's in nearby West Palm Beach. A starstruck fan, who was with a few other women outside squealing in excitement, shot footage of the lovebirds leaving hand in hand and then climbing into a waiting SUV. 'Oh my God, Oh my God,' said the person behind the camera. Someone also got pics of the duo looking like they were having a great time sitting in a booth inside the swanky restaurant. Coincidentally, that's the same place Donald Trump Jr. rendezvoused with now girlfriend Bettina Anderson last December while still engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle. Star chef Clay Conley heads up the upscale spot, known for its seasonal menu and 'progressive American' cuisine. But back to the couple du jour. Now that we have two sightings of Swift, we have a feeling she's bunking down with Kelce at his luxury pad in Boca Raton. The Kansas City Chief player is reportedly renting a luxury condo at the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club to be close to his trainer. Andrew Spruill, who specializes in helping athletes up their speed and overall performance, runs his sessions at Johnny O's Gymnasium, also in Boca. As for Swift, she can kick back now a little and take a breather. After a years-long fight, the superstar just bought back the rights to her first six albums in a deal that is reported to have cost her an eye-watering $360 million. 'I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away,' Swift shared in a lengthy note on her website last Friday. 'But that's all in the past now. I've been bursting into tears of joy at random intervals ever since I found that this is really happening. I really get to say those words ... All of the music I've ever made … now belongs … to me.'

'Blood Quantum' Blu-Ray Review - Zombie Genre Gets A Fresh Perspective With Indigenous Tale

The dead are coming back to life outside. But in the isolated Mi'gmaq reserve of Red Crow, the indigenous inhabitants are immune to the zombie plague. Traylor, the tribal sheriff, must protect his son's pregnant girlfriend, apocalyptic refugees and reserve riffraff from the hordes of walking white corpses. For thoughts on Blood Quantum, please check out our review from its original Blu-Ray release here. Video Quality Blood Quantum returns to Blu-Ray via Shudder with a formidable AVC encoded 1080p transfer that really brings this film to life in a great way. The film was previously released on Blu-Ray in 2020 courtesy of RLJ Entertainment, and this new Blu-Ray does not appear to differ in any significant way outside of the supplements. The cinematography has a slightly desaturated aesthetic with everything appearing a bit drained of color to go with the overall helpless tone. There may not be big, bright colors throughout, but there is a depth to certain hues that this transfer honors. The picture is primarily clear with only brief instances of murkiness during a few of the darkest settings. The transfer maintains an impressive level of detail both in the dimly lit interior sequences and more stark environmental shots. Everything from the smallest facial details to the texture in the production design is quite impressive. Skin tones are natural throughout with some strong details present in certain shots. This is a transfer that delivers a great presentation all around. Audio Quality The film comes with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track that effectively executes the reserved soundscape. There are certainly moments when the infected bring some intensity to the track, but this narrative takes a much more character-based approach which distinguishes it a bit. Activity in the low end delivers some nice texture during the appropriate moments. Environmental effects play a significant role in the film, and this track brings these elements to life quite capably. The rear channels help the sound design feel more three-dimensional. Directionality is quite precise so sounds always present as natural when coming from their respective points. Dialogue comes through crisp and clear without being overwhelmed by any of the other sounds. Shudder has kept up its good work in the sound department. Optional English SDH subtitles are provided for those who desire them. Special Features Audio Commentary: Film critic Scout Tafoya provides a commentary track in which he discusses the production of the film, tidbits about various performers, the groundbreaking nature of the feature, and more that is worth a listen. Behind The Scenes Featurette: A 13-minute piece featuring interviews with the cast and creative team that explores the creation of the script, crafting the world, and much more. File Under Miscellaneous – A Short Film by Jeff Barnaby: A seven-minute dystopian short film about genetic modification. Photo Gallery Green Band Trailer (1:44) Red Band Trailer (1:44) Booklet: A multi-page booklet featuring an essay from film critic Mo Moshaty is provided here. Final Thoughts Blood Quantum is one of the better zombie-adjacent films to come out in recent years. While the refreshing point of view is a big reason why, an even larger reason is the care put into the storytelling to give the audience something to care about. The loss of director Jeff Barnaby is a huge blow for cinema as a whole, but we do have terrific movies such as this one that we can appreciate as a part of his legacy. Shudder has released a Blu-Ray with an excellent A/V presentation and some terrific new special features. There is so much working in favor of this film that it would be misguided to pass this one up. Recommended Blood Quantum is currently available to purchase on Standard Edition Blu-Ray or with a Limited Edition Slipcover exclusively through Vinegar Syndrome. Note: Images presented in this review are not reflective of the image quality of the Blu-Ray. Phoenix Suns CEO Accused Of Affair With Former Mercury Player In Lawsuit

The Phoenix Suns and their sister WNBA franchise, the Phoenix Mercury, are facing a firestorm of controversy after a bombshell lawsuit accused CEO Josh Bartelstein of having an improper relationship with former Mercury player Sophie Cunningham. The accusation, embedded within a broader legal case involving racial discrimination and workplace misconduct, has sent shockwaves through the NBA and WNBA communities. The allegation was made by Gene Traylor, the Suns' former director of safety, security, and risk management, who filed a federal lawsuit in May 2025. Traylor claimed that Bartelstein was the subject of damaging internal rumors, specifically one spread by Cornelius Craig, the organization's VP of security. According to the court filing, Craig allegedly told employees that 'Josh Bartelstein is f**king Sophie Cunningham.' Traylor says he reported this to Bartelstein directly, citing it as a major reputational risk for the organization. Neither Bartelstein nor Cunningham has publicly responded to the accusations. However, if proven true, the implications are serious, particularly because Bartelstein oversees both the Suns and Mercury, making any intimate involvement with a player under his organizational purview a potential conflict of interest. Cunningham, 28, played for the Mercury from 2019 to 2024 before being traded to the Indiana Fever this past February. She had recently signed a contract extension through 2025 and was widely considered a fan favorite in Phoenix. In a prior statement, she had praised Suns owner Mat Ishbia's leadership and called Phoenix her 'home away from home.' Her sudden departure is now under renewed scrutiny. Bartelstein, a former Michigan basketball player and the son of longtime NBA agent Mark Bartelstein, was hired as CEO in 2023 following Ishbia's $4 billion acquisition of the Suns and Mercury. Married since 2022, Bartelstein publicly lauded his wife, Sydney in interviews as the backbone of his demanding executive role, adding yet another layer of personal and professional complexity to the scandal. This lawsuit is just the latest in a growing list of legal troubles for the Suns franchise. Traylor's suit joins three other federal lawsuits filed against the team since November 2024, all alleging a toxic workplace environment, racial discrimination, retaliatory demotions, and security negligence. Traylor, who is Black, also alleged that he was marginalized for raising security concerns, including vulnerabilities that were later confirmed by Phoenix Police during undercover testing, some involving the smuggling of weapons into the arena. The organization has fiercely denied all accusations. The Suns' senior VP of communications called the lawsuits 'delusional and categorically false' and accused Traylor's attorney, Sheree Wright, of attempting to extort the franchise. They highlighted Wright's probationary status with the State Bar of Arizona as evidence of her supposed lack of credibility, a counterattack Wright called a deflection from the franchise's systemic failings. The lawsuit adds to growing skepticism over Ishbia's promised 'new era' of professionalism, especially following the Robert Sarver scandal that led to the team's sale. What was supposed to be a clean slate under new ownership is now being stained by scandal, legal turmoil, and allegations of misconduct at the highest levels.
