Rhoden has signed 43 bills into state law

Between then and Tuesday, Rhoden signed SB81, a bill prohibiting the use of a firearms code for transactions involving firearms, accessories, components, and ammunition.
On Tuesday, Rhoden added eight more to the pile, totaling 43 bills signed so far.
These latest bills are:
SB33 makes appropriations for water and environmental purposes and declares an emergency;
SB47 clarifies eligibility for licensure as a video lottery operator;
HB1047 makes an appropriation to reimburse health care professionals who have complied with the requirements for rural recruitment assistance programs and declares an emergency;
HB1056 prohibits the preparation, sale, and distribution of certain kratom products and provides a penalty therefor;
HB1072 modernizes provisions relating to water development districts;
HB1074 modifies the individuals eligible to sign an affidavit of homelessness for purposes of obtaining a free copy of a birth certificate;
HB1075 modifies the persons eligible to sign an affidavit for proof of homelessness for purposes of waiving the fee for a nondriver identification card; and
HB1125 creates a share the road bicyclist safety emblem for use on an emblem specialty plate.

One dead, two injured in John Kilpatrick Turnpike two-car crash
CANADIAN COUNTY(KFOR)- Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to a fatal two-car crash at N John Kilpatrick Turnpike early Saturday morning. Authorities arrived to the crash to a gravel truck fully engulfed in flames and a 4-door sedan involved. The 4-door sedan had two occupants with one needing extrication. One occupant from the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupant was transported to a nearby hospital with severity of injuries unknown. The driver of the gravel truck was also taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition. According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the southbound traffic of the Kilpatrick Turnpike has been shut north of NW 23rd St. The scene and cause of the crash is under further investigation. It's a short ballot, a countywide use tax question for all residents of Newton County as well as a city use tax for those living in Neosho. The county clerk's office is open tomorrow, August 2, to cast a ballot; that's from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Police seeking security footage after rash of arsons near Irving Park
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police are asking for help to identify the suspect in multiple arsons near Irving Park over the last week. Portland police are asking anyone living near Irving Park to review their security camera footage from July 20 and July 27, as they may have video footage of an arson suspect. The first arsons happened on July 20 and included a shed in the 700 block of Northeast Fremont Street, a trailer parked in the 3100 block of Northeast 8th Street, and a garage door in the 3600 block of Northeast 7th Street. On July 27, police said that several more arsons happened, including a fire that damaged a fence and shed in the 3900 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and one that damaged a vehicle in the 3800 block of Northeast 6th Avenue. Authorities said they are focusing on the area between North Williams Avenue and Northeast 15th Avenue and between Northeast Stanton Street and Northeast Shaver Street. Police are asking any residents living in that area with security footage between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on July 20 and between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on July 27 to share the unedited footage with them online.
