Palmer and Connie, both 23, met each other when they were 17 years old.
They were first spotted together on holiday last year.
But after 12 months together, they have parted ways.
Rumours on social media claim Chelsea star Palmer called things off after Connie proposed marriage to him.
Palmer was said to have told her that he is too young to be getting hitched.
And the pair decided to go their separate ways as a result, with Palmer heading on his own to the Caribbean island of Saint Kitts — the birthplace of his grandfather.
But now, Connie has taken to Instagram to set the story straight.
She declared to her 42,000 followers that she never asked Palmer to marry her.
And Connie also detailed the appalling 'abuse' she has received online following her split from the Chelsea hero.
She said: 'Don't believe everything you read online. The lies that people post to get views/likes is so sad!

'It's actually wild the amount of abuse I have received from grown men in the last 24hrs!
'No I have never proposed a marriage lol.'
Following Connie and Palmer's split, a source told SunSport: 'Connie and Cole have known each other since they were teenagers — but handling a relationship in the public eye is never easy.
'Cutting ties on Instagram is a big deal for the young generation and speaks volumes.
'Cole has a lot on at the moment and has been spending time in the Caribbean to learn more about his family roots.'

Camp Bestival launches 'slomo wellbeing' to connect families with yoga, breath work and meditation after a boogie to Sir Tom Jones, of course
It's not unusual for Sir Tom Jones to headline a music festival and perform in front of 30,000 people. But the organisers of Camp Bestival insist that alongside an appearance from the global superstar this year's event will give families a unique opportunity - to improve their health and wellbeing. Camp Bestival is unveiling its first ever wellness festival designed to bring 'joy, calm, and connection' to visitors from the UK and beyond. Former radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank and his wife Josie, who co-founded Bestival, believe it will provide the perfect antidote to families struggling with the day to day pressures of life in the modern digital age. Rob, 52, told MailOnline: 'Wellbeing is all about inclusivity and accessibility, and we really want families to give it a whirl. 'We are both so passionate about wellbeing and would love to see the children of tomorrow starting early and having some fun with it. 'Our whole mission is to make wellbeing accessible and to bring it on from the uber-trendy, slightly snooty wellbeing vibe. 'Everyone is struggling with mental health and anxiety and stress and should have access to that.' Camp Bestival - which runs from July 31 to August 3 - has grown into the UK's top family-friendly festival since the couple first launched the event which takes place at Lulworth Castle in Dorset in 2008. A young Ed Sheeran once played there before hitting the big time - performing in the woods to an audience of around 30 people - while headliners have included Chuck Berry, Brian Wilson, Mark Ronson, Simple Minds and Primal Scream. Sugababes and 90's dance act Basement Jaxx are topping the bill this year along with Sir Tom, 85. With eight out of 10 Britons opting for a staycation this year, according to one recent survey, the event offers music lovers the chance to enjoy a 'festi-holiday' camping out in the green green grass of home. And, for the first time, they will be able to make the most of the new Slomo Wellbeing Festival which will have its own chilled out section of the site. Described as being 'a festival within a festival', people of all generations will be able to take part in daily sessions that include breath work, meditation and yoga often blending ancient practices with contemporary twists. There's also reset retreats, luxurious hot tubs, saunas and ice cold plunge pools as well as massage and treatments. A 'dynamic mix of practitioners' will lead sessions throughout the day from mood lifting sunrise ceremonies to meditations under the stars. Taking inspiration from Nordic contrast therapy culture, the schedule also includes chill-out DJ sets, cooking demonstrations, cacao-fuelled dance mornings, sound therapy, mantra evenings, and family shake-out sessions. While drop-in wellbeing sessions are free, specialist treatments and experiences come at an extra cost and need to be booked in advance. Josie, also 52, said of the new space: 'You can walk through the doors and feel like you've entered a very beautiful, nurturing new world. It's very colourful and stylish. 'There's a real fun side to the wellness that we're offering. When Robby and I curate Camp Bestival we really try and offer families new things to try that they don't get to try in everyday life. 'We're really honoured to be able to do this for children and families. Life is hard at the moment and parents are stressed. If we can get more people breathing, doing exercise and really having fun together then that's a great thing. 'We cannot wait to throw open the doors.' A host of top acts will appear alongside headliners including Lightning Seeds, The Zutons, DJ Annie Mac and drum and bass star Goldie. Hundreds of free activities for families to explore include theatre, circus skills, science explorations, sports and a range of live performances including DJs, family raves, comedy and evening cabaret.

Kerry Katona cashes in with money spinning new job just weeks after Katie Price tour chaos
KERRY Katona looks set to cash-in after landing a new money-spinning job. The star will be returning to her performing roots with the ex-Atomic Kitten singer booking a job in a huge nationwide UK tour. 5 5 Kerry will be appearing on stage across the country for two months as part of the cast of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. The stage production of the hit movie will tour the country in June and July of next year with Kerry taking centre stage. Kerry's talent agency confirmed the news, saying: "Our client @kerrykatona7 will be touring in the musical Here We Go Again in June and July 2026 across the U.K. and Ireland." The show has been billed as the "ultimate non-stop party tribute to Mamma Mia! The Musical." Further details for the upcoming tour are expected to be announced in due course including a full list of cities and dates that Kerry is expected to perform in. Kerry's celeb pal, Love Island star Olivia Hawkins, was quick to comment and share her excitement, writing: "Yessssss finally! Superstar! Ready to be front row." Kerry first found fame as a singer in Atomic Kitten but quit the band before they found major success and instead found work as a TV personality. The confirmation comes off the back of her impending tour with close pal, Katie Price. The pair originally revealed they would be entertaining crowds across the country on a mammoth 30+ date tour before it was ultimately cancelled. However, the tour was revived just weeks later and looks set to go ahead later this year. Katie originally quit taking part due to ' childcare issues ' despite plenty of tickets already having been sold. But now, the plan is for the shows to go ahead with both women as originally planned. A source has now told The Sun: 'For the last few weeks, the team putting this together have been in crisis talks with Katie's people and they've managed to find a solution that suits everyone. "Some of the dates will be rescheduled to fit around Katie's childcare clashes, meaning she is back in. "Everyone behind the scenes is thrilled because it would have been a financial nightmare to pay back all the tickets that had been re-sold. "Katie and Kerry are chuffed too as they didn't want to let any fans down.' Kicking off in in Ellesmere Port on September 11, Katie and Kerry had plan to"share stories of their friendship, marriage and divorce, bankruptcy, 'I'm A Celebrity', the importance of family, their constant press attention and turning their lives around". The famous friends are also offering fans the opportunity to pick up VIP meet and greet packages. 5 5

Cat Deeley recreates heartwarming childhood snap as she poses on the beach 34-years later in sweet post
Cat Deeley was feeling nostalgic on Wednesday as she shared a sweet throwback-inspired post. The This Morning presenter, 48, took to Instagram to recreate a childhood photo of herself on the beach. In the original snap, she was seen holding a can of diet Coca Cola behind a pink and blue windbreak. Fast forward 34 years, Cat struck the same pose - this time holding a coffee - while wearing a grey quarter-zip top, with the very same windbreak behind her. Captioning the post, she wrote: 'Same Girl… Same Beach! 34 years later. X.' It comes after Cat gasped when she learned her 'biological age' live on This Morning and revealed a particularly unhealthy habit. Presenter duo Ben Shephard and Cat hosted Thursday's instalment of the ITV show and sat down with Dr Alka Patel. The pair had undergone a series of tests to determine their 'biological age', which refers to the physiological state of someone's body. Cat revealed it had been a 'nightmare' for her and opened up about her habit of not sleeping very well. 'So this was a nightmare for me, Zoe had to attempt it twice, I'm a terrible sleeper, but I'm very healthy, I eat healthy, I drink loads of water I do yoga,' she said. As the numbers ticked down to 33, Cat looked pleasantly surprised and gasped: 'I might cry, I might actually, am I 33?' '15 years younger!' the expert exclaimed. 'Wow, I don't know how I've done it because I certainly don't sleep and that's one of the most import factors isn't it,' Cat gasped. Dr Alka replied: 'Remember everything works together, I call it bio-synchronology, everything works together in time so all the great things that you are doing, the yoga, the stress relief, the breathing, the drinking, all of that is incredible. 'Now you've got to think to yourself, 33, I love that, I've got more years ahead of me, what do I need to do to keep it that way...' Meanwhile Ben, whose chronological age is 50, was not so impressed with his biological result of 46. He exclaimed: '46? is that it? I'm quite surprised by that, I think I look after myself, I get a decent amount of sleep, train really hard, I feel fit and healthier than I've probably ever felt in my life chronologically. 'I'm really fascinated by the idea that it's just four years.' Dr Alka advised the presenter to 'be more Goldilocks' and ensure he does 'not too much, not too little but just the right amount,' explaining he might be 'going too hard'. But ben doubled down: 'For me, the health and wellness is much more important for me mentally rather than how I feel with the physical side of things.'
