Andy Farrell has once again made wholesale changes to his British & Irish Lions squad for the upcoming clash with the Waratahs.
As he did for Wednesday's 52-12 win over the Queensland Reds, Farrell has opted to make 14 changes for the clash in Sydney, with Hugo Keenan set to win his first Lions cap after being forced to pull out of the win in Brisbane due to illness. Similarly, Blair Kinghorn is set to make his first bow in the famous red shirt.
They are joined in the back three by Mack Hansen.
Elliot Daly, who was the late replacement for Keenan, was forced to withdraw himself just over an hour into the contest at the SunCorp Stadium after injuring his arm in a tackle, and he's now set to miss the rest of the tour.
As expected, Owen Farrell has been called up in his place, and will join up with the rest of the squad on Friday.
Farrell said: 'It is heartbreaking for the group that Elliot's tour is over. He is a Lions legend who has added so much to the group on and off the field over the past few weeks and over the course of three tours. Owen will now come in and add to our options and bring his own Lions experience to the group.'

The new British & Irish Lions kit has launched ahead of their latest tour with the range including shirts, hoodies and merch for all ages
This is Owen's fourth Lions tour having made 18 appearances across the 2013, 2017 and 2021.
Lions tour manager Ieuan Evans added: 'To be a three-times tourist like Elliot means you have to be a world-class player over an extended period of time. But not only is Elliot a world-class player, he is also a wonderful Lion who is much-loved by his team-mates and our fans. So we all feel for him right now. Both on and off the field, Elliot can be immensely proud of his contribution on this tour of Australia. He will be sorely missed and we wish him a speedy recovery.'
Meanwhile, Huw Jones, who produced a fine individual try in that victory over the Reds, is the only one to keep his place in the starting line-up with Tadhg Beirne set to captain the side in the absence of Maro Itoje.
Beirne will be joined in the second row by fellow Irishman James Ryan.
Scotland prop Pierre Schoeman, England hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie and Ireland tight-head Finlay Bealham make up the front row, with the backrow containing England's Henry Pollock at six and Ireland's Josh van der Flier at no.7. England's Ben Earl slots in at No.8.
Northampton Saints team-mates Alex Mitchell and Fin Smith are in at scrum-half and fly-half, with a Scottish partnership of Sione Tuipulotu and Jones in the centres.
Leinster and Ireland's Hugo Keenan and Toulouse and Scotland's Blair Kinghorn will make their Lions debuts and are joined in the back three by Connacht and Ireland's Mack Hansen.
Jac Morgan, despite his man-of-the-match showing against the Red, starts from the bench.

Winger Robbie Mahon on cloud nine after sealing Edinburgh City move

Robbie Mahon is gearing up for a big season with Edinburgh City. The Republic of Ireland youngster had a brief spell on loan at the club from Motherwell in 2023 before returning to his homeland with Irish First Division side, Dundalk. However, the 22-year-old has now made the permanent move to the Capital with City and is ready to embrace the challenge set by manager Michael McIndoe of winning the league. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The Citizens were beaten in the promotional play-offs last season by East Fife, who went on to secure promotion to Scottish football's third tier. "I know it's a good move because I know what I'm getting on and off the pitch when it comes to support from the club and the gaffer," Mahon told the Evening News. "I loved my time here previously so I'm really excited. Things are going really well. The academy is doing great and we are a squad that truly believes we can win the league this season, which really helps. "The talent we have is special for a League Two side. We're all on the same page and understand the demands the gaffer puts on us. There's no point having a goal to be in the play-offs, you want to win the league. We have that belief and that's the bare minimum we're aiming for. The club came close last year so we have to do better." Mahon signed for the Steelmen as an 18-year-old in 2022 and made one appearance before joining both City and Dunfermline on loan. The Dublin-born star admits he loved his previous time in Scotland and was always keen to try his luck again. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "When I first came over, I was just a young lad at Motherwell and you were always around lads who were technically brilliant, fit and just the whole package really," he explained. "It was a shock at the start as I'd come from part-time. So, I know more about Scottish football and once the season gets underway, I'll have played in every league apart from the Championship. I love the game here with the cup games you find yourselves in and there's a lot of opportunities to impress at different levels, so I think it's a good outlet for young players. "I finished with Dundalk in November and then had a little spell from January until the end of the season in Northern Ireland. It was a long season, but I always knew that coming here was a possibility, so I wanted to keep myself ticking over. "I spoke with the gaffer in January but it didn't happen then. We agreed we'd see where we were in the summer so when the chance came it was a no-brainer. The gaffer knows what I can do so it's about finding that balance of playing freely and working as hard as you can. "Pre-season has been tough. We've been down to the beach but there's been a lot of camaraderie between the guys. We got a great result (3-2) against Falkirk last weekend. I know everyone will say 'oh it was just a pre-season friendly', but you can only beat what's in front of you. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "Ultimately, you want to win these games, too. Falkirk are a very good side and they gave us a real tough test, but it was really pleasing to see when they had more of the ball, the lads were more than happy to dig deep for each other." *Edinburgh City begin their Premier Sports Cup Group B campaign against Partick Thistle at Meadowbank next Friday, July 11. Kick-off is 7.45pm.*

Emma Raducanu turns up to watch men's world number one in Wimbledon practise amid Carlos Alcaraz romance rumours

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) EMMA RADUCANU got ready for her clash with the women's world No 1 — by watching the men's world No 1. And the British underdog — who is 3-1 to shock Aryna Sabalenka on Centre Court today — has vowed to behave aggressively as she fights to stay in Wimbledon. And before facing the Belarusian three-time Grand Slam champion, she watched the world's top man, Jannik Sinner, practise ahead of his straight-sets victory over Aleksandar Vukic. British No 1 Raducanu said: 'I'm trying to learn by osmosis. Jannik is so effortless when he hits the ball. 'I have been trying to watch a bit more live when I am away. I watched Joao Fonseca the other day. 'I have just been practising for just an hour and ten minutes. 'I was working on a few things I will need. 'I feel good. I'm doing everything I can on my side. I know over time I'm doing the right things.' Raducanu's 70-minute session started at 3pm and she hit mostly with colleague Adam Jones under the watchful eye of new coach Mark Petchey and good pal Jane O'Donoghue. The Petchey masterplan worked when she impressively knocked out the 2023 Wimbledon champ Marketa Vondrousova on Wednesday evening. Carlos Alcaraz claims he 'will do whatever she wants me to do' in revealing Emma Raducanu interview after Wimbledon win Now, there is nothing to lose, there is no pressure on Raducanu and, in a way, it is a free hit. She has never beaten anyone ranked No 1 in the world — in fact, she has never even won a set. But if she can approach it in the same manner as her victory over Czech star Vondrousova, then maybe she could shake up the entire women's draw. Raducanu added: 'Aryna is No 1 in the world for a reason. 'She has been so dominant in the women's game as of the last few years. 'I know it's going to be a massive challenge. I'm going to have to play some really good tennis. 'I'm going to have to be aggressive but pick my moments and not kind of be overly aggressive. You can fall into that trap, too. 'I don't think I'm going to go out there and out-power her size-wise and power-wise. 'I'm going to have to try to be creative as well. I'm more confident in my own game. 'Having the direction over the last few months built over consistency has really helped.'

Wimbledon briefing: Day four recap, Friday's order of play and Raducanu preview

The three remaining British players will look to book their places in the last 16 on Friday, with Raducanu's mouthwatering clash with world number one Aryna Sabalenka closing proceedings on Centre Court. Here, the PA news agency looks back at Thursday's action and previews day five of the Championships. Jack Draper admitted he has a lot of work to do if he is to challenge at Wimbledon in the future after a crushing loss to Marin Cilic in the second round. The British number one is still yet to make it beyond the last 64 at his home grand slam and, having come into the tournament as the fourth seed after a brilliant season so far, the 6-4 6-3 1-6 6-4 defeat was his most painful yet. 'Even though I've had such an amazing progression the last 12 months, I've still got a lot of areas that I need to improve in my game,' the 23-year-old said. 'In some ways that's exciting, and in some ways that's hard to deal with because I thought I was ahead of where I was.' Novak Djokovic racked up his 99th match win at Wimbledon and sent a message to title favourites Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. The 38-year-old proved he is a major contender at this year's Wimbledon with a near-flawless performance in 6-3 6-2 6-0 victory over Britain's Dan Evans. And the seven-time champion has his eyes firmly on another title in SW19, with no time for thoughts of retirement. He said: 'I don't pause to reflect, to be honest. I don't have time. I would like to. But I think that's going to come probably when I set the racket aside and then sip margaritas on the beach with Federer and Nadal and just reflect on our rivalry and everything.' British number one Emma Raducanu takes on top seed Aryna Sabalenka for a place in the fourth round of a women's draw that has only five top-10 seeds remaining. Sonay Kartal is back in the third round for the second successive year and starts as favourite against French qualifier Diane Parry, who stunned 12th seed Diana Shnaider to reach this stage. And Cameron Norrie, the 2022 semi-finalist, will also fancy his chances against world number 73 Mattia Bellucci after the British number three knocked out 12th seed Frances Tiafoe in the second round. Emma Raducanu's reward for knocking out 2023 champion Marketa Vondrousova was an early meeting with world number one Aryna Sabalenka. They have played once before, in Indian Wells last spring, when Sabalenka won in straight sets but in a close enough contest to give the British number one encouragement. Raducanu said: 'She's number one in the world for a reason. I'm going to have to be aggressive but pick my moments and not kind of be overly (aggressive). 'I don't think I'm going to go out there and out-power her. I think I'm going to have to try and be creative, as well.'
