New to Apple TV+ in July 2025
A new month is here, and there are several new premiers coming to Apple TV+ in July 2025 (Sign up for a free trial!).
One of the streaming service's longest-running series, Acapulco, will premiere its fourth and final season in July. Acapulco was inspired by the 2017 movie How to Be a Latin Lover.
Eugenio Derbez stars in the series as Maximo Gallardo Ramos. Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, and Camila Perez also star in the Apple TV+ series.
Acapulco premiered on October 8, 2021. A second season followed in 2022. However, the third season would not be released until 2024, wrapping up on June 26, 2024. Now, over a year later, the final season is coming.
Additionally, the third season of the popular show Foundation will premiere in July 2025. It is based on a series of stories written by Isaac Asimov. The ensemble cast is led by Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, and Leah Harvey.
The last four episodes of Stick are also coming to Apple TV+ in July. Owen Wilson plays Pyrce Cahill, a golfer past his prime who begins mentoring a rising star. The mentorship begins turning his luck around.
Jason Keller created the series. He also wrote several episodes of it as well. Wilson not only stars in it, but he also executive produces the series.

Vince Gilligan and Rhea Seehorn's Apple Series Has a Title and a Premiere Date
Nearly three years after it was first announced, and following a few vague teasers from the principals over that time, some concrete details about the Apple TV+ series created by Vince Gilligan and starring Rhea Seehorn are finally available. Well, a couple, at least. Apple TV+ also released the first photo of Seehorn from the series, which is at the top of this story. As for what Pluribus is about? That's murkier. The show's logline describes it as 'a genre-bending original in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness.' Cryptic social media posts from Apple earlier in the week read, 'Happiness is contagious,' while a brief teaser released with the premiere date (watch it below) offers a deeply unsettling vibe but no insight. What is known: Pluribus comes from Sony PIctures TV, Gilligan's long-time studio home and the producer of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Apple TV+ won a bidding war for the series in 2022 with a two-season order. Gilligan has said he wrote the show for Seehorn, who in turn has described it as 'a wild ride.' 'He's vacillating between tones and between genres like he and Peter Gould did on Better Call Saul, but it's even more pronounced now,' she told The Hollywood Reporter last year. '… It is a very challenging role and a very challenging show in the best way. It's everything that an actor would want.' Gilligan has also said that, unlike the antiheroic centers of Breaking Bad and Saul, Seehorn's character in Pluribus is more of a hero (albeit a flawed one). Accepting an award from the Writers Guild of America in February, he called on his fellow scribes to leave villain stories behind: 'As a writer, speaking to a room full of writers, I have a proposal; it certainly won't fix everything, but I think it's a start. I say we write more good guys. For decades we made the villains too sexy [and] viewers everywhere, all around the world, pay attention. They say, 'Here's this badass, I want to be that cool.' When that happens, fictional bad guys stop being the precautionary tales they were intended to be. God help us, they've become aspirational.' Along with Seehorn, the cast includes Karolina Wydra and Carlos-Manuel Vesga. Miriam Shor and Samba Schutte are guest stars. As for the rest, we'll find out in November. Vince Gilligan's New Apple TV+ Sci-Fi Show Is Coming Real Soon
Amid all the hubbub of San Diego Comic-Con weekend, Apple TV finally unveiled its new sci-fi drama series, Pluribus, created by Breaking Bad creator and Better Call Saul co-creator Vince Gilligan. Although Pluribus is Gilligan's first venture into sci-fi, it will feature a familiar face: Rhea Seehorn from Better Call Saul. Apple TV's press release for Pluribus, like its teaser poster, doesn't reveal much about the show in terms of what viewers can expect from its story, aside from Gilligan's name being attached to it and that it'll consist of nine episodes. In the spirit of enticing vagueness, the streamer coupled its official announcement with a date trailer. The date announcement trailer for Pluribus taps into the cringe-worthy YouTube prank culture from nearly a decade ago. In the clip, a woman licks the bottom of every donut before placing them back into their container—color us appropriately grossed out and curious to see how the show's sci-fi elements unfold. Apple's brief logline for the series describes it as being set in a world where 'the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness.' Presumably starting with one licked donut at a time. Alongside Seehorn, the cast includes Karolina Wydra (Sneaky Pete), Carlos-Manuel Vesga (The Hijacking of Flight 601), Miriam Shor (American Fiction), and Samba Schutte (Our Flag Means Death). In tandem with the show's announcement, Apple TV put ten toes down on Gilligan's new hotness by already picking the nine-episode series up for a second season. The drama series is being executive produced by Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, Allyce Ozarski, and Jeff Frost. Additionally, Jenn Carroll and Trina Siopy are joining the team as co-executive producers. Although he remained somewhat vague about the show's specifics, he mentioned to Variety that production was nearing the completion of its first season. 'I wouldn't call this heavy science fiction, I would call it mild science fiction,' Gilligan told Variety. 'But it does have a sci-fi element to it, at its core. And there's no crime, and no methamphetamine. It's going to be fun and different … I know it's a story that interests me, and Rhea will be playing a very different character than she played on Saul. The weird thing is that it takes place in Albuquerque, except it's a whole different world. There's no overlap that I can see.' Given Gilligan's history working on shows like The X-Files, we can only hope he brings some of that uncanny energy into whatever Pluribus winds up being about. ‘Ted Lasso' Stars Surprise Fans Onstage at Mumford & Sons Concert
Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple and Brendan Hunt led the band in a rendition of the show's theme song 'Ted Lasso' is coming back — but the Richmond crew isn't in England anymore. As Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple and Brendan Hunt began filming for the fourth season of the Apple TV+ series in Kansas City, the group stopped by a Mumford & Sons concert to help sing their theme song. Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons co-created the theme song for the show alongside Tom Howe. The concert took place on July 24 at the Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs — a suburb of Kansas City. On Monday, Apple TV+ shared a first look at the fourth season of 'Ted Lasso.' The teaser featured series regulars Sudeikis, Waddingham, Temple and Jeremy Swift at what appears to be a midwestern diner. Swift did not join the group at the concert. In 2023, 'Ted Lasso' returned to Apple TV+ for a third season initially conceived as a potential series finale. The final episode of the third season was titled 'So Long, Farewell' and tied up a number of plot threads — including sending the Kansas-based Coach Lasso home after a successful final season with AFC Richmond. In March, Apple TV+ officially renewed 'Ted Lasso' for a fourth season, confirming the return of Sudeikis. In the new season, Coach Lasso will take the reins of Richmond's new women's team, which was established at the end of Season 3. Sudeikis, who grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, brings a lot of personal history to the midwestern character. 'Ted Lasso's' current Kansas City filming marks a homecoming for the 'SNL' alum and series co-developer. Based on the reactions in the video, the crowd at the Azura seemed thrilled to have him back.
