East Plano, Texas Sermon By Yasir Qadhi: Israel Is 'Demonstrably More Evil' Than The Nazis; The U.S. Has Been Taken Hostage By Israel And AIPAC

Memri3 days ago
In his July 25, 2025 Friday sermon at the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC) in Texas, Islamic scholar and chairman of the Fiqh Council of North America Dr. Yasir Qadhi said that he had visited Auschwitz and Dachau, and that the current regime of Israel is "demonstrably more evil" than anything the Nazis have done. He emphasized that he is "not comparing, each one is evil in its own way," but explained that Auschwitz held "only" 100,000 prisoners at any one time, while he claimed Israel is starving 2,000,000 people in Gaza. Qadhi said that Israel and AIPAC have taken the United States hostage, and that Allah is exposing them through "mini-scandals" such as Jeffrey Epstein's case.
Dr. Qadhi is the chairman of the Fiqh Council of North America and a prominent leader of the U.S. Muslim community. The East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC) is planning to develop a community-centered residential project in Texas, spanning over 400 acres and featuring more than 1,000 residences, a mosque, a K-12 faith-based school, a community college, and commercial shopping facilities. For more clips of Yasir Qadhi, see MEMRI TV clips 11937, 11965, 10590, 10334, 10117, 9859, 9417, 8433, 8401, 7640, 7451. For more clips of the East Plano Islamic Center, see 6847, 6749.
Dr. Yasir Qadhi: "I have visited the death camps of Auschwitz and Dachau. I have visited those very camps [in which] the Nazis perpetrated their crimes, and the tour guide told us that the maximum number – at any one given time – of prisoners In Auschwitz was around 100,000. I'm not comparing, each one is evil in its own way, but the current regime of Israel, starving two million people – it is demonstrably something more evil, in that sense, than anything the Nazis have done.
[...]
"If they believe that even a fraction of what we are seeing now [in Gaza] is justified by one incident on October 7, then we must ask – what then is justified for the Palestinians, who have suffered, not years, not one incident, for decades? What is justified for them to do?
[...]
"In this country, the majority of our follow Americans are now anti-Zionists. The majority of them – from the right to the left. Look at all of these commentators, they are now recognizing that our country has been hostage by AIPAC, has been held hostage by Israel.
"They know this, and all of those scandals taking place, all of these issues taking place – Allah is betraying them from within their own camp. Their own people are testifying against this reality. And these mini-scandals that are taking place, from the White House all the way down to the prisons cells of Epstein and what not... Yes, by Allah, Allah is exposing their standards, Allah is exposing their tactics, and Allah is exposing their control."

The Plain Truth II

"Israel is the largest American aircraft carrier in the world that cannot be sunk, does not carry even one American soldier, and is located in a critical region for American national security." – then Secretary of State, General Alexander Haig President Donald Trump, former Secretary of State Gen. Alexander Haig, and Admiral James Stavridis (ret.) The last vote in Congress about military aid to Israel demonstrated that truth: 422-6 voted for supporting Israel, even Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.[1] The same assessment was expressed and further emphasized by Chairman Admiral James Stavridis, USN (ret.), whose posts throughout his career included Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and that of leading United States Southern Command. Stavridis wrote: "American General Alexander Haig famously made the case for Israel as 'the largest American aircraft carrier in the world that cannot be sunk,' but Israel's value as a partner is manifold. While its geostrategic position makes Israel valuable for projecting U.S. power in the Middle East, more crucially it projects its own power in service of mutual interests and assumes its fair share of burdens in doing so. This is near-unique among U.S. allies, and increasingly important amid growing regional threats and Americans' reticence for overseas involvement."[2] It is not AIPAC's support of legislators' campaigns that impacts their vote, as anitsemites say. Rather, it is the chance that AIPAC gets to talk to representatives face-to-face in private about what Israel means for America. Israel and its citizens are the only ones in the whole pro-American camp that will never betray American interests but rather go along with American interests since they are her own strategic and military interests. It is the only state where an American soldier is embraced in any home. It is even a little America in the Middle East far from the mainland U.S. Like Hawaii but in a region basically hostile to America. MAGA isolationists claim that America bombed the Iranian nuclear sites for Israel and that the war was not America's war. They claim that billions granted to Israel were not justified and that America's support of Israel risked embroiling it in regional wars again. They ignore the following facts, probably on purpose: Iran's hatred of America is many decades old – since the 1979 Islamic revolution almost 50 years ago: "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" went together. The new regime of the ayatollahs' regime seized the American Embassy and held Americans hostages for 444 days. The U.S. military suffered hundreds of fatalities as a result of direct Iranian terrorism and many more by Iranian proxies. The Ayatollahs' regime destabilized the Middle East and weakened America's Arab allies – recently it even threatened to assassinate President Trump. Iran is threatening America with its ICBM power that can reach the United States. Their efforts to develop nuclear weapons are a threat to the whole free world. Iran's Houthi proxies harm the east-west maritime passage and thereby the economy of the West – and that of Israel as well, but only partially. Israel's attack on Iran was to defend itself but given the above-mentioned facts, it was at the same time for America. To claim that without Israel, America would not have any problem with Iran, as MAGA isolationists imply in their discourse, is totally false. The B-2 bombing of the nuclear facilities was to affirm the American principle set by President Trump as the leader of the free world that a regime like that of the Ayatollahs cannot have nuclear weapons. This principle was not set for Israel. It was set to counter the strategic danger emanating from a jihadist regime that seeks to export its revolution to the whole world and impose it. That is why the support for Israel in the Congress has always been bipartisan. In the end, the only arguments MAGA isolationists can raise against President Trump's support for Israel are antisemitic and not based on logic or American strategic considerations as expressed by General Haig and Admiral Stravidis. * Yigal Carmon is Founder and President of MEMRI.

Neo-Nazi California Gubernatorial Candidate Posts Picture of Auschwitz as Their "0% Unemployment Plan" To Address Homelessness

A neo-Nazi and theocratic fascist is running for Governor of California in 2026. The neo-Nazi candidate's stated policies include plans to "revitalize … Catholicism's foundations" in California, to spread Christianity and Catholicism, end all immigration – legal and illegal – to stop "Americans" from being replaced, and imprison and exterminate, en masse, homeless people in California. Their proposed homelessness policy has drawn significant attention and backlash on X, as they posted a selfie of himself at Auschwitz with the caption: "My 0% Unemployment Plan" to promote their plan. In another controversial policy proposal, the neo-Nazi candidate stated they would deport all illegal immigrants, except for women, to whom they would give one year to marry a Californian incel to avoid deportation. The neo-Nazi also uses their X account to publish neo-Nazi content, such as calling for an increase in the "Aryan birth rate," lambasting Jews as the enemies of Americans, and publishing Hitler fancam videos. This report will review the candidate's X posts, seeking to illustrate their neo-Nazi and clerical fascistic ideology. YOU MUST BE SUBSCRIBED TO THE MEMRI VIOLENT EXTREMIST THREAT MONITOR (VETM) TO READ THE FULL REPORT. GOVERNMENT AND MEDIA CAN REQUEST A COPY BY WRITING TO DTTMSUBS@ WITH THE REPORT TITLE IN THE SUBJECT LINE. PLEASE INCLUDE FULL ORGANIZATIONAL DETAILS AND AN OFFICIAL EMAIL ADDRESS IN YOUR REQUEST. NOTE: WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE A COPY ONLY TO MEMBERS OF GOVERNMENT, LAW ENFORCEMENT, MEDIA, AND ACADEMIA, AND TO SUBSCRIBERS; IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE CRITERIA PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST. Candidate's Neo-Nazi And Clerical Fascist Beliefs In their own words, the neo-Nazi's primary concern, aside from "White people and their well-being" is "the Catholic Church and spreading Christianity and Christian values because that is what is really most important." The California gubernatorial candidate detailed their white Christian nationalist views, in addition to praising neo-Nazi influencer Nick Fuentes, in a video soliciting donations that they posted to X on March 24. The full video includes the following: "As you can tell I am a firm supporter of Nick Fuentes, I put America first, America only. I also care about White people and their well-being. And, probably first, more primarily… I care about the Catholic Church and spreading Christianity and Christian values because that is what is really most important because in California we are spiritually damaged. But, I am feeling a Great Awakening … there's a Great Awakening happening right now in California. … Everything is all coming together so … if you believe in me and want us to win just donate like $5 or so, trust me it goes a long ways … Im going to promote Christianity because it's the right thing to do and as Christians we're supposed to die on that fact. We're supposed to live by our beliefs and be martyred if necessary and that's exactly how I live it. … America First, California First, Thank you so much! Let's win this thing!" Additionally, their March 24 repost of the video illustrated their neo-Nazi beliefs, with the caption: "Nothing less than a TOTAL ARYAN VICTORY in California will suffice! [lightning bolt emoji] California will become BETTER THAN EVER very soon. [bear emoji][purple heart emoji] Life for Californians will improve by leaps & bounds. [rising stock chart emoji][dancing man emoji]" Similarly, the neo-Nazi demonstrated their commitment to revolutionary Christo-fascism, in a July 20, 2025 post. The video post, published on X, featured fancam style edits of Jesus Christ with the caption: "The Constitution as it stands now is an obstacle to a new Holy American Empire." Many of their other posts highlight the prominence of their neo-Nazi ideology as well. For example, in an April 29, 2025, X post, they wrote: "Weimar Problems require Weimar Solutions. [bear emoji][lightning bolt emoji][American flag emoji]." The post was in reply to a post from that claimed "California lawmakers rejected a measure to classify the purchase of sex from 16- and 17-year-olds as a felony." / More recently, on July 25, 2025, the neo-Nazi published an X post of himself in front of Auschwitz with the caption: "My 0% Unemployment Plan," expressing their implicit support of the Holocaust and their desire to replicate its forced internment, labor, and extermination practices against the homeless population in the U.S. The post was in reply to a post claiming that "California now leads the nation in both unemployment and homelessness."

Trump promises new plan to feed starving Gazans

Shafaq News – Washington US President Donald Trump on Friday pledged to launch a new initiative to address hunger in Gaza, saying he is 'working on a plan to get people fed,' amid growing concern over the humanitarian situation in the war-torn enclave. In a brief phone call with Axios, Trump described the crisis relief as something that 'should have happened a long time ago,' accusing Hamas of stealing and selling humanitarian aid entering the enclave. He declined to elaborate on the plan when pressed by Axios, and did not confirm whether it would involve expanded support for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) or introduce new delivery mechanisms. The statement followed a visit by US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee to aid distribution centers run by the GHF. In a post on X, Witkoff revealed he and Huckabee spent five hours inside Gaza to get 'a clear understanding of the humanitarian situation and help craft a plan to deliver food and medical aid to the people of Gaza.' At @POTUS 's direction, @USAmbIsrael and I met yesterday with Israeli officials to discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Today, we spent over five hours inside Gaza — level setting the facts on the ground, assessing conditions, and meeting with @GHFUpdates and other… — Special Envoy Steve Witkoff (@SEPeaceMissions) August 1, 2025 Washington has faced mounting pressure to increase aid flows into the enclave, where starvation and malnutrition are rapidly worsening. The US-backed GHF has been criticized by international rights groups for operating only in select areas, forcing displaced Palestinians to travel long distances—often through active conflict zones—to access food. Axios further pointed out that an Israeli official briefed reporters on Thursday about Witkoff's separate meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The two discussed the current deadlock in ceasefire and hostage negotiations, and the possibility of moving toward a more comprehensive agreement with Hamas. Trump declined to comment on the outcome of that meeting, saying only, 'You will see soon.'
