The Indiana Fever have, once again, fallen below .500 to begin the 2025 WNBA season, falling to the Los Angeles Sparks 85-75 on their home court.

Now, the Fever will cap off a back-to-back with a Friday night matchup against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings. But the Fever could be without All-WNBA point guard Caitlin for a second straight game.
Clark was ruled out for the Sparks game after suffering a groin injury late in Tuesday's win over the Seattle Storm.
After playing every game in 2024, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star has now missed six games this season. Indiana is 2-4 in those contests.
Yet, even with Clark out, the Fever remain supportive of her WNBA All-Star campaign. On Friday, the final day when All-Star fan voting counts twice, Indiana took to social media to request fans to go vote for Clark.

"almost as sweet as her stepback 🍪😏," the Fever wrote on X. "votes count DOUBLE today, send Caitlin Clark to #WNBAAllStar2025"
Clark initially missed five games earlier in the year due to a quad strain. Upon her return on June 14, she went through a three-game stretch of poor shooting, going 1-of-23 (4.3%) from 3-point range before suffering her new setback.
Still, Clark has remained one of the top WNBA players over the entire season. Through nine games played, she is averaging 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game. She is tied for the most assists per game in the WNBA with Phoenix Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas

The Fever will face the Wings on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET. At the time of this article, it is unclear whether Clark will be able to play.

The final day for WNBA All-Star voting is on Saturday. The All-Star game will take place on July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis, IN).

How to watch Jake Paul vs Chavez Jr: TV channel and live stream for boxing today
Jake Paul will make his return to the boxing ring tonight, meeting former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in California. The YouTuber-turned-fighter easily defeated a 58-year-old Mike Tyson, 31 years his senior, in his last bout in Texas in November on Netflix. Despite beating the former heavyweight champion, the age difference between the pair meant the win did preciously little for Paul's reputation. To triumph over Chavez Jr, though, could do plenty for Paul's boxing credibility. The former WBC middleweight champion, now 39, has a career record of 54-1-6, and has fought across a range of weight classes. Paul is unsurprisingly confident ahead of the fight, telling DAZN that he expected to 'embarrass' Chavez Jr, son of legendary former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. Paul said: 'Knockout early rounds, it's easy. I, Jake Joseph Paul, will knock out Julio Cesar Chavez, Saturday June 28. I will embarrass him, and I will defeat him.' It could be the toughest test of Paul's short career to date, and whether he can deliver on that promise is in some doubt. He is set to be at cruiserweight for the bout, claiming he will be ranked by both the WBA and WBC if he impresses at Honda Center in Anaheim. TV channel and live stream: The fight will be available on DAZN on a pay-per-view basis, at a cost of £24.99 in the UK. A bundle package, which comes with Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois II as a secondary option, is available for £39.99. Ring walks for the main event are expected at around 4am BST in the early hours of Sunday morning, which is 11pm ET and 8pm PT on Saturday night in the US. Trae Young Reacts to Tyrese Haliburton's Injury in Game 7
Trae Young Reacts to Tyrese Haliburton's Injury in Game 7 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. On Sunday, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Haliburton only played in the first quarter and had to head back to the locker room. The Pacers announced that the two-time All-Star would not return to the game and finished with nine points on 75% shooting from deep. Advertisement Ahead of Game 7, the Pacers' star was part of the injury report with a right calf strain. However, he opted to play the game, similar to his approach in Game 6 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday. Unfortunately for the Pacers, the first quarter for Haliburton was the final time he played this season. Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young is defended by Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Davis-Imagn Images After he was injured, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young was emotional on X. He posted about Haliburton's injury and how he felt about it. "🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Never wanna see that😔" Young posted. Even other stars like Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and Donovan Mitchell felt bad for what happened with Haliburton. Advertisement "Prayers up man 🙏🏽," Brunson said. "You never want to see that, prayers up 🙏🏽," Towns posted. "These calf strains ain't no joke man!! Praying for Ty 🙏🏾🙏🏾" Mitchell said. It was an unfortunate injury for the Pacers and Haliburton, as they are one game away from winning an NBA championship. Throughout the entire 2025 NBA playoffs, Indiana was often considered the underdogs. However, they've proved the critics and the doubters wrong, often coming out on top. Young and Haliburton have played 11 games against each other throughout their careers. The Pacers' star has the advantage, with six wins over the Hawks' star.
