Georgia football's top returning DL undergoes surgery
Miller suffered a dislocated shoulder in the game against UMass on Nov. 23rd, 2024. The dislocated shoulder took him out for the remainder of the regular season and SEC championship, but he returned in Georgia's Sugar Bowl loss to Notre Dame.
Miller announced his decision to return to UGA for another year, and with several Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman either entering the draft or transferring, Miller's return was a key one for Georgia.
Despite potentially missing the spring game, Graham Coffey of The Player Lounge notes from his sources that Miller is expected to be fully recovered by the time Georgia plays their season opener vs. Marshall on Aug. 30, 2025.
Miller joins defensive players Daylen Everette (sports hernia) and Gabe Harris (left arm) as defensive players undergoing surgery. On the offensive side, Monroe Freeling (shoulder) and Colton Heinrich (undisclosed) will also be rehabbing injuries through the spring.

Through the 2024-25 season, the Los Angeles Lakers have had a total of 506 players suit up for them, going back to their days in Minneapolis. Some were forgettable, some were serviceable, some were good and a select few were flat-out legendary. As the Lakers approach their 80th season of existence (they were founded back in 1946 as the Detroit Gems in the National Basketball League), LeBron Wire is taking a look at each player who has worn their jersey, whether it has been a purple and gold one or the ones they donned back in the Midwest during their early years. We now take a look at Anthony Miller, a power forward who suited up for the Lakers in the 1990s. Miller grew up in Benton Harbor, a small town in southwest Michigan, and played three seasons of college basketball at Michigan State University. The Golden State Warriors took him in the second round of the 1994 NBA Draft, and he was subsequently traded to the Lakers. He played two seasons with the Purple and Gold and averaged 3.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 8.9 minutes a game. The 6-foot-9 big man was nicknamed "Pig" because his facial features resembled those of that specific mammal. After leaving the Lakers, Miller spent six more seasons in the NBA. He also spent time with the Yakima Sun Kings of the Continental Basketball Association and won league championships there in 2003 and 2006.

Sex toy-throwing fan arrested for disrupting WNBA game between Valkyries, Dream
The fan who threw a green sex toy onto the court during a WNBA game between the Golden State Valkyries and Atlanta Dream on Tuesday has been arrested, according to a league spokesperson. That person has not been identified publicly. 'The safety and well-being of everyone in our arenas is a top priority for our league. Objects of any kind thrown onto the court or in the seating area can pose a safety risk for players, game officials, and fans,' the spokesperson said. 'In line with WNBA Arena Security Standards, any fan who intentionally throws an object onto the court will be immediately ejected and face a minimum one-year ban in addition to being subject to arrest and prosecution by local authorities.'
