Wait... Is That Chris Pratt?!' Actor Stuns Fans with Wild Transformation for New Role

Daily Tribune08-06-2025

Chris Pratt has fans doing a double take after unveiling a jaw-dropping new look for his latest role.
The 45-year-old actor appeared nearly unrecognizable in a recent Instagram video, sporting long curly hair and a thick, rugged beard as he stepped into character for the upcoming season of The Terminal List. With the caption, 'Is it? No… can't be,' Pratt playfully acknowledged the shock his new appearance sparked.
Filming for the new season is underway, and Pratt took a moment to spotlight the behind-the-scenes artistry. 'Isn't this hair and makeup incredible?' he said, praising his team. 'My team does such an awesome job.'
He teased intense scenes ahead while showing blood-covered hands, hinting at the gritty action fans can expect. 'I don't want to tell you what I've been up to...' he said, keeping plot details under wraps.
The actor also shared a lighthearted moment about the less glamorous side of working with prosthetics. 'This mustache's hair is like a wig – it's a fake beard. It looks freaking incredible,' he said. 'But the crazy thing about wearing a fake mustache or a fake beard is when you eat, you get hair in your mouth… and you don't know whose hair it is. I mean, what if it's... pubes?'
With a laugh and a shrug, Pratt ended the clip with, 'No. Anyways. I don't care. I'm hungry.'
The transformation is part of his return as Navy SEAL James Reece in The Terminal List: True Believer, the continuation of the action-packed series based on Jack Carr's novels.
Whether it's fake facial hair or real commitment to the role, Pratt's transformation is getting everyone talking — and viewers can't wait to see what's coming next.

Miley Cyrus fires back after claims she was ‘rude and dismissive' to her fans

Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Miley Cyrus appears to have fired back after claims of being 'dismissive' towards fans. The 32-year-old pop star joined supermodel Naomi Campbell for a special vinyl album signing event for her new record Something Beautiful - which features Naomi on the track Every Girl You've Ever Loved - in London over the weekend. A video from the event at record store Rough Trade East shows the two stars chatting amongst themselves behind a table. In the footage, fans can be seen approaching the table from the other side and awkwardly posing for a photo as Miley briefly glances up, smiles and then continues her conversation as they sign the LPs. A fan on Reddit branded Miley 'so inconsiderate and dismissive', while others called her 'rude'. On Tuesday, the Flowers hitmaker seemed to address the backlash as she shared a professional photo of herself and Naomi at the event, as well as several videos of them smiling and interacting with fans. She wrote on Instagram: 'Our vinyl was originally set to drop a week later, but since we were both in London @ roughtradeeast made it happen day of. 'I wanted to gift my Smilers an exclusive experience and unreleased vinyl to thank you for the love you've shown me in the UK over the years. I saw so many familiar faces and met some sweet new ones. 'The record store requested no photos due to the unexpected last minute turn out but we knew the night needed to be captured. 'Thank you @vijatm for snapping those in the moment shots. To everyone who came out to celebrate our single, we love you.' Miley recently hit out at the criticism she received earlier in her career when she shunned her Disney Channel persona for a more raunchy image. Asked what she sees when she looks back at her image from 2013, she told the New York Times newspaper: 'I see adults not acting like it. I would never look at someone that's 18, 19, 20, 21 years old and judge them as an adult, because they're not yet. 'At one point, there was even a petition. It was like 'Millions of Moms Against Miley' or something. 'Isn't that crazy, this petition? In 2013, maybe that performance felt really shocking, but when you watch it back, it really wasn't that wild. I was dressed as a teddy bear.'

Bang showbiz | Los Angeles Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have finalised their divorce. The 53-year-old actor had been married to Bridget Jones star Isla, 49, - with whom he has Olive,17, Elula,14 and 10-year-old Montgomery - for just over 14 years when they announced their plans to divorce in April 2025 and on Friday, they spoke of their 'commitment to co-parenting' now that all legal details have been taken care of. In a joint statement to Instagram, the former Hollywood couple said: 'Our divorce has now been finalised. We are proud of all we've achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children. 'We ask for the media to continue to respect our children's privacy.' Isla previously called her divorce the 'most difficult thing' she's been through, but insisted at the time that she and the Borat star remained focused on their kids. She told The Sunday Times newspaper: 'I've learned so much about myself in the process. I never imagined my family being separated, but we are committed and loving parents ... 'Kids are the most important thing, and you want them to really feel safe and loved. We are building a new, healthy version of what our family looks like and putting as much care and love into it as possible.' Isla also credited her friends with playing a crucial role in helping her to navigate the situation. The actress explained: 'The women in my life have held me … the female relationships that I cultivated in our business, those women have been there for me. I'm actually going to get emotional. 'I'm sitting here today because of them. I've learned so much about the power of female friendship and I've just learned that I do have resilience, who I am outside of a partnership, and what my values are. It's been this expansive learning curve.'
